  1. I think it might be Li too. Might actually make sense if Abigail came upon Rolf's lab that Li was looking after at that point, she saw Stefan, he followed her back upstairs trying to convince her to stay quiet, they struggled, and he grabbed the knife. I think Craig is just a red herring.
  2. George DelHoyo does a great job playing Orpheus. I've always been a fan of that character. What grates me is that it seems like Ron actually went back and watched the old stuff (or maybe he just made his assistant do it; there's been enough details (i.e. hokey exposition) to suggest someone has recently); and yet he couldn't capture what made the Stockholm stuff great back in the day. If anything, he's just showing what a subpar writer (and possibly viewer) he really is. Back then, Orpheus's target and focus was Roman for killing his wife. He never really had a vendetta against Steve and Kayla; he only did things against them when they were in his way (Steve's tattoo clue for the bonds, Kayla accidentally walking into Steve's dumpy apartment at the wrong time, etc.) But then the stories were developed and complex enough that those things happened organically; they didn't need to be forced or contrived like they are now. A better storyline using the dynamics of all those characters (Orpheus, John, Steve, etc.) today would have been to create an old ISA case that required all their help. Something from back when Orpheus was still an agent (pre his wife's death) that John and Steve had to work with him while not trusting him and while Orpheus had his own agenda too. It would sort-of mimic the way in '86 they had to revisit a '79 case, but not just rip it off. This is where Ron fails and become Re-Run Ron with his stories. He's like a student in English class who can't figure out how to use the canonical and classical literature to inspire his own story/work; he just plagiarizes it. Joe was also in the second Jaws movie. Kinda funny because he's Sheriff Brody's antagonist in town as the one of the town council members who, of course, opposes closing the beach and also has a thing for Brody's wife.
  3. Because they didn't pick up whatever virus Carlin and Evan's kids were battling while in NJ so they came to TN for a second try??? Zade looks like he's about to be smothered by Carlin's exploding closet in the first photo, and the caption on the caption to the second photo should read 'Five Fundie Women Embrace Patriarchy: Women Owned Businesses That Pretend to be Run By Their Men'
  4. Based off the Fall preview where Jada is seen fainting, I wouldn't be surprised she turns up pregnant. Would also explain why Ron rushed them into bed so fast.
  5. He victim blamed Orpheus's wife when "re-telling" (retconning a bit) the story of how she died. Claimed it was her fault for being there and not calling out her name when she tried to warm him and her husband that their clandestine mission was in danger. So basically, she was trying to help save his ass, got shot and killed by him for her efforts, and Roman acted like he was still put-out that she didn't call out, "It's Mrs. Harp! Let me just get my ID out of my purse along with the secret info I've got for you." Also, he seemed to have an unhealthy interest in why his grown son was so sweaty.
  6. Yep, over twenty-five years of him playing Roman Brady and yet I still think of Chris Kostichek when he's on screen....well until the last few episodes and then I just think 'what an asshole' when I see him.
  7. NBC just keeps pissing off viewers: https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/days-of-our-lives-fans-in-a-lather-after-last-ever-episode-on-nbc-interrupted-by-king-charles-speech/ar-AA11EQ6b?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=d6c60e20579741cbbe86ac4ea439ec28 My favorite 🙄 part: "Thursday's episode was also bumped for live coverage of the queen's death. NBC reran it at 3 a.m. Friday." Because people who watch live daytime TV are also up at 3am! 🙄 On a side note, my local channel got the first half hour of Thursday's show in before NBC interrupted. Ironically running at the bottom of the screen the whole time was a note confirming DOOL's move to Peacock on the 12th and basically telling viewers that they needed to contact NBC directly about complaints. They provided the number. 😀
  8. Based off the promo, I don't think most of it will make me want to tune into Peacock. Rerun Ron is at it again with the road crashes. I am curious though who all is pictured on the road with drugged up Jennifer. Is that Brady? Susan or Kate? I know the one is Ava, and at one time I would have never have said this, but I hope she doesn't get killed as she's actually none of the few I like these days. Other thoughts: -Nicole is so going to screw Eric on the conference table like she did Rafe. Chloe better break out the bleach. -Jada is probably pregnant
  9. I'm not disagreeing that Bo's death was possibly short sighted and dumb. Ludacris the way it played out if I'm being honest. I remember it went something like he made a road trip on a motorcycle with Steve, saved Hope from peril, had sex with Hope, saw his family, had sex with Hope again, got a brain tumor diagnosis from Kayla, told Rafe to look after his wife, and then died in the park moments after telling Hope he was dying. I was just saying that I recall that PR had been off for a while and they decided to stop writing excuses for where Bo was and finally settle the character. So they got him to come back for the big 50th and kill off his character. My impression was that TPTB probably thought it was a good idea (ratings and buzz) at the time and PR was fine with it cause he wasn't even living in L.A. by then, didn't plan to work full time acting again, and the DOOL streaming specials weren't a thing yet. Now I've not watched any of the streaming specials so I am confused how they undid or are going to undo his death since we just saw him on the show as a ghost/angel appearing to CIN and saving Tripp.
  10. I thought PR was on board with the idea of killing Bo off, specifically came back in '15 to do so, because he and his wife moved away from LA and weren't planning on coming back. Given that, I suspect that he's open to coming back and doing these specials because he can simply make a short trip to LA, rather than live there, given the way the DOOL specials film.
  11. NBC seems to interrupt the show for every "breaking news" event they can latch on to whether it really is breaking news (as in critical information happening in the moment) or something that transpired hours earlier, has already been all over internet news, and will be featured on evening news a few hours later. So if the last two days of Days of Our Lives airing on network TV before being sent off to streaming is interrupted and/or disrupted and preempted by more "breaking news" it really will be a final reminder of a major factor of what (news coverage) helped tank the once popular soap genre.
  12. It boggles my mind that a culture so obsessed with pregnancy is so ignorant about it at the same time. Why would anyone who's been having sex less than a year need to spend so much money on pregnancy tests! It makes it seem like they are not only so stupid that they don't understand their own bodies, but that they also can't use the internet or an app these days that would tell you when your period is actually late enough that it might be useful to take a test.
  13. This! 100% Some of those blind bag mystery toys popular with kids today are a more interesting reveal than these gender reveal parties and announcements. They come off so pompous. I personally am of the camp that feels finding out at birth is far more special. I cherish not knowing till that moment.
  14. If they are going to put John's gray-haired chest on display for his afternoon delight with Doc all episode, it should at least serve a plot-driven purpose...like Jennifer is popping his blue pills. 🤣
  15. If she couldn't walk (or speed walk) a treadmill without passing out, it doesn't seem like she should be fit to travel. I wonder if she really did have an incident or she just faked it because knowing Carlin she probably thought it was a good time for an event.
  16. Yep, I was going to say the same thing. In some states anything hanging from the rear-view mirror is illegal. (I still remember the fuzzy dice days.) Let's hope they drive through PA on the way to NJ and get pulled over.
  17. Victim…survivor…let’s try target. I really don't think Jada or Kate accurately labeled what Kate is to Orpheus at the moment. Speaking of, has Orpheus unleashed the Salem version of Covid from the Wilheim lab? Comments from the mini peanut gallery (re: Jarlena): “I don’t care if they were a super couple back in the 80s, I don’t want to see these gray-haired people in bed all day. Ugh!” My pre-teen may have identified a major reason this show struggles with younger viewers. 😁
  18. She doesn't need a c-section to get her tubes tied after birth. Any kind of delivery will do as long as she has the kid in the hospital with a doctor. Since she has the heart issue, I assume Alyssa does hospital births and not home ones. Personally, I wish these fundies would embrace hubby vasectomy appointment reveals.
  19. So I'm not the only one who thought Rafe's remark about making "things sticky" wasn't just in the legal sense?
  20. Anybody have a current cast list? I'll just cross off the few who aren't annoying.
  21. I questioned some of their conversation wasn't legally sound too. Did Rafe even put out an APB on him? Agree, I was left wondering if I missed a previous scene where Jennifer got the bottle or even took a pill. Ron's pacing on stories is awful. "Build up" is clearly not a word in his writing dictionary. Also agree that the pills were hardly discarded. All she did was drop the closed bottle in a trashcan for paper trash. Maybe Maggie could have tossed them in a public trash bin instead. I don't really see Jennifer Rose going dumpster diving, addiction or not. Agree too. Now that Abigail and Ciara are gone, it seems that Stephanie is stepping up to fill the entitled brat role.
  22. Ditto! She should be in her early thirties but she acts like she's barely out of high school. Her attitude is really grating. I can't believe they couldn't find a better characterization for Stayla's kid. Nevermind, yes, I can. The legacy kids are typically the worst. Case in point, Ciara.
  23. RoJohn told the story back in the 80s during the Stockholm storyline (the bonds storyline) when the memory came back to him and he remembered what actually went down and why Orpheus was after him. It was established that in 1979, he and Orpheus were ISA partners on some case that dealt with these treasury bonds and Russian spies. Rebecca somehow came across some information that affected their mission (I think about the Russians) and came out to warn them. Back then Roman (RoJohn) treated her death as a bad mistake/accident. He compared her to Marlena and the other Salemite heroines who tended to get involved/help in the adventures/mysteries of that time. He seemed genuinely remorseful, not this jackassy she-shouldn't-have-been there crap that Chris Kostichek Roman spouted.
  24. I was referring to the color scheme, bedding, plants, and lamps--all look like an adult's style, not something that would interest a kid. Incidentally though, the other week on HGTV's No Demo Reno, the designer used that wood paneling on the bottom half of the wall for her 3 year old's room; however, she painted it pink. She gave the cost, which I forget the exact amount, but it wasn't cheap. It added quite a bit to the reno budget so Carlin using it just seems like an extra expense for something a toddler also wouldn't care about.
  25. Carlin clearly does not realize that her kid isn't thirty yet. That's an adult bedroom design style not a toddler's.
