  1. It makes things easier for her when the next unavailable, already attached man happens by.
  2. Yeah, aside from the audio from the wire that Pascal was wearing, Emily could have whipped out her phone and taken video of the whole confrontation. Paging Dexter Mogan (from Dexter)--Emily needs a blood splatter analysis to help convict Conrad. ;-)
  3. Yes, and for all that sand in the hourglass would someone (like Sami) please finally remind Jennifer that a “Dimera” also got in hers some years ago. If there’s one flashback I’d like to see shown it’s one of Peter Blake getting into Jennifer's knickers! Then Sami (or anyone with the balls to point it out) can say “Like Mother, like daughter.” Because they truly are a self-righteous, hypocritical pair. Ah the memories! Must be a lot of amnesia in the Horton family.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aT69BrDHgxQ
  4. Is that an actual spoiiler or just speculation though? I seriously don't see eager-beaver deputy taking over if for nothing more than simply the fact that that actress is in a minor guest star role while NC who plays Sheriff Romero is part of the main cast. I honestly don't think Romero is going anywhere as his character is a big part of the town and he "balances" (for lack of a better word) the various politics going on in the town. Remember that right now, Romero doesn't have any evidence that he can use. And we still don't know for sure that Norman killed Miss Watson. There's probably a dozen scenarios that could play out how that night of the dance went. Til we are shown it, I don't think it's clear cut. Technically there's still the possibility that Norman could come out looking the victim in all this if it somehow points to Miss Watson taking advantage of underage Norman while he was blacked out.
  5. If Liam the Loon would just lock Jennifer, Daniel, Abigail, Nick, Gabby, and Julie in the Horton cabin and blow Smith Island off the map he would become my all time favorite daytime hero! Oh, right after Jen sits on the bed and then finds out that's where Abby took her first roll in the hay with EJ. Then, Liam can kill them all.
  6. http://www.beautyworldnews.com/articles/8845/20140424/revenge-season-3-cast-member-emily-vancamp-twitter-previews-spoilers-and-sneak-peek-clip-of-new-identity-in-the-hamptons-as-episode-20-premiere-date-nears-abc-series-teases-someone-has-to-pay.htm Is it too much to hope for that that's Daniel's blood all over Nolan's jacket? ;-)
  7. Re: Also on why Ford involved Dylan…. Nick Ford seems like the type of guy to do his research. At the least he knows Dylan is Norma’s son and he has a hold over Norma now (whether she realizes it or likes it or not). At the very most, he knows that Dylan is sleeping with the boss, Jodi. Either way, Dylan is a card to be played in Nick’s hand in this drug game. And I think when you think about the complexities of the relationships and loyalties on this show, this is where the SL is deeper than the surface of simply a drug war. Will Jodi cross her own brother? If forced to choose, will Dylan protect his lover or his brother/mother (who will one day become one in the same—LOL). I think these are all questions TPTB want viewers to be contemplating as the story unfolds. It’s not just about a drug business, it’s about how and where lines are crossed, how the main characters (Norma, Dylan) are being and can be manipulated, and so forth. I agree. It gives a timelessness to the show and depicts how the law in the town is not black and white but very gray. It also makes Romero a far more interesting character. It keeps the viewers guessing which way Romero will handle things like Norman/Miss Watson and Zane.
  8. I’m guessing since Zane is in hiding; they’d know/guess it had to be an inside job. But the way the scene with Dylan and Jodi went I think you could also interpret that he might have told her about the meeting with Ford too. I could go either way with that. Yes, the feminist in me wishes Nick Ford would sit down with Jodi as his equal—the head of the other drug family. I’m cool with her bringing Dylan along though if for no other reason than he’s cute and they might make a good pair. ;-)
  9. If the show was all Norma and Norma it would essentially just be like one of the prequel movies already made. Instead the show is building on the dynamics of their already inappropriate relationship through the situations they’ve encountered with the town and the rest of the community. I don’t mind the drug business at all. Without it the story would be too narrow and I don’t see how the show could exist beyond a mini-series. The drug business fuels the town’s economy and is probably a large part of why the “law” is often skewed and justice handled their own way. It’s a huge aspect of the town (the setting if you will). It’s been a part of the show from the very beginning and is just starting to come full circle as the “Bates” family becomes more involved with the core players. I don’t see how that’s going to go away. The show creators have compared the town to “Twin Peaks.” It’s a place that operates with a slightly different set of rules and conventions, and that helps add layers to the plot and everything that’s happening with Norma and Norman. They are now players in this town too, whether they realize it or not and I think it will all go towards what ultimately happens between them. For me, it keeps the story from being flat and one-dimensional. Norma and Norman are very complex individuals but so are the people that wield power and influence in this town. I’m sure he does too and he’s already tried that (gunning down Zane on the sidewalk when Dylan saved him). But as an “inside job” there’s no retaliation on his people by the Morgan family. Thus the war ends—or more accurately there is a cease fire. It’s not amnesia; Norman at certain times is operating in a text book fugue state. It’s part of his psychosis.
  10. Judging from the one promo you posted I'd say it's going to come together big time if Dylan does what I think Nick Ford is asking him to do. That should be interesting and I wonder how Jodi will take that. On the other hand, I could be wrong and Nick could be talking about Norman. But I don't mind the drug war story as I think it is deeply embedded in the town and will play into other fractions affecting their lives. We already know that it must play some role in the construction of the highway or Nick wouldn't be interested in Norma.
  11. This! I realize that Norman/Norma are the main focus of the show but I feel like we need more background on the drug business and its players—soon. Zane’s actions are so overt (burning Romero’s house, raiding Nick’s warehouse) I don’t understand why Jodi would need Dylan to keep her informed, she’d clearly hear about that stuff. And is she afraid of Zane that she can’t talk to him and reel him in a bit? He is her brother after all, and she gave him the job. I know she said she doesn’t like to get her hands dirty but is her alternative plan to get other parts of her dirty with Dylan instead of just dealing with her insolent brother first hand??? LOL! Apparently the distribution center has a known address because Emma knew right where to find him. I bet they order the pizzas to the pot fields when they are working security out there. I guess the address is just Morgan Farm…or maybe it’s Green Acres. If you are the delivery boy you hope you don’t get shot and get a blunt as a tip.
  12. LOL @ Conrad as the smoke monster!
  13. That's a good point. Can we just line up Nick and Abby now and hand Sami the gun?
  14. Yes, Tom and especially Alice are probably rolling over in their grave at the way that Julie, Jennifer, Abigail all act. I bet Gran would be able to smell Nick's shit a mile away. She was no fool.
  15. That's a great analogy! I'm wondering if brother Zane is going to be put off by Dylan getting nightly visits from the great oz or if he won't care now that Dylan saved his life. Yes, Cupcake boy works for Dylan's employer and Nick Ford heads the other drug cartel.
  16. Thanks! I think IMDB just lists her as “Zane’s sister!” As a former Lost watcher, I still see him as Richard Alpert or the man who never aged. lol Same here. I think I have to chalk some of it up to his adorable face and how good he looks shirtless! But I am definitely interested to see get more background and see where this is going. For example, were Zane and Jodi’s parents killed as part of the drug family fight? Is Jodi the only person at the top? She already gives off a “lonely” vibe so I hope to see her connect more with Dylan who is often shut out of his own family. There is plenty of potential there.
  17. Agree that KR looks younger than VF. KR looks good for 40, she could easily pass for 30. VF--not so much. But then maybe it's the clothing and the "mother" vibe. I guess we'll see if they reveal KR's age on the show to see if they are going for any kind of subliminal thing with Dylan and an older woman. But she dresses younger and puts off a younger vibe so for now I'm leaning towards her only supposed to be a few years older than Dylan. Would be nice if they'd give us the character's name in the meantime. I wonder if Dylan got it before she crawled in his bed. ;-)
  18. I’m assuming the show is going more by looks than actual age (of the actors) with the characters. (Lots of shows do it—check out the real ages of the PLL supposed teenage cast.) I realize that boss-lady is like a decade or more older than Dylan in real life, but I think on the show we are to believe she isn’t that much older than him. So I think the backstory of the parents is still relevant. And since I knew Dylan was probably past due to get a love interest, I’m interested to see where this goes. I wish they would have had longer scenes together last night as there seems to be some chemistry there. She certainly gave him an “interesting” wake up call. LOL @ “this isn’t personal” as well as Dylan’s expression when he said he was awake now. Agree that Norma is being set up to be a political puppet, but I suspect that Nick Ford and Christine Halston are on the same side as Norma met him at Christine’s party. Interesting though how the town is ruled by different fractions and the police and the mayor have limited authority.
  19. An improvement from last week and the week before. So happy to see Emily and Aiden reunited. They have a lot of chemistry that comes through in their scenes together. I could do without the Victoria/Pascal love scenes, but please give us more Em/Aiden. I liked the development of Aiden’s past with their trip. (And if it was less screen time for Daniel and Victoria who have come to grate my nerves then better yet.) I felt it brought home the connection they share and their common goal of clearing their family name. I want to see them be partners in crime up through her final victory when they clear their fathers' name and find happiness together. Loved that Emily got one over on Victoria with the Mason Treadwell escape. There’s been too many failures for Emily. I hope she finds a way to use Conrad to bring Victoria and Daniel down. Conrad's line about Emily being his ally as long as she was Vic's enemy was classic.
  20. I am so glad they dropped the Abe/Kayla thing. I think it was under the previous writers that it was hinted at and then when they came back from the Olympics with new writers, it was dropped. It would be way too hard for me to buy that after knowing each other for 20-30 years they finally fell in love. I think not. Plus I can't see Kayla going from a guy like Steve to Abe. I could get on board with Kayla and Aiden though. They seemed to have a little spark. Clearly, there is none with Hope and Aiden. I hope the writers pick up and move on. Perhaps Hope and Rafe.
