  1. Yes, Days of our Lives uses the same sounding one when their characters are possessed by the devil. Must be pretty cheap as the soaps have no budget anymore.
  2. But what about her artistic integrity or whatever the crap she spewed about leaving. Sounds like that didn't work out and now she needs a paycheck.
  3. I seriously hope Sarah finally sees what a Bozo (pun intended) Zander is after this. Has she found out he nearly killed Sami and Lucas for money yet? That he only didn't because Sami offered him more than Kristin?
  4. It should read: Eric forgets that Nicole forgets her wedding vows whenever she's married.
  5. And I'm happy if she's found success elsewhere so we aren't subjected to Melanie again. Wasn't she supposed to return to Days?
  6. 100% What lingerie models look like in the real world: What lingerie models look like in Salem:
  7. I agree the focus on this one was off. If Jody had led to the discovery of the body then I could understand making her the "star" of the narrative, but as it was, UM just wanted to make a ghost story out of it. I'm not really convinced of the authenticity of Jody's portion. Some corroboration was needed--the apartment manager about what she saw that night; her ex-boyfriend to confirm he really was the one who bought the book and told her the story after she lived there, etc. Her daughter was too young to be an uninfluenced party. I totally understand why UM picked the story, and I hope it leads to information that keeps that creep locked up. But I think it should have begun with MarLiz's story and her sister's narration, and Jody shouldn't have come into the narrative till the 2008 case reopening was discussed.
  8. @boes, I agree with @DisneyBoy--this forum wouldn't be the same without your hilarious comments. But I also couldn't blame you for checking out of this show. I have Peacock as part of my cable package so I'm not even paying for it, and I can't muster the enthusiasm to tune in. I've seen maybe a half dozen episodes to date and three of those were yesterday while taking down Halloween decorations. I realized that absence from this show did not make the heart grow fonder. All I saw was lackluster storylines, couples with no chemistry, and grown ass adults who can't find their own place to live. Sarah seems to have become even more insufferable. Queen Kristin looked like an old hag. Forty-something Nicole with her thin hair and the worst color/root job both sides of the Mississippi would have been laughable as a lingerie cover model if it wasn't so lame. And while killer clowns peeping into EJ's windows had potential, it ultimately turned out to be a letdown.
  9. Her nosey loud ass mouth has finally gotten her a 'disturbing the peace' charge? 😁
  10. Episode 6: I'd be curious to know if Josh had a cell phone with him that night (I'm assuming not since it wasn't mentioned) or if he made/took any calls at the party from that line. If the answer is no then I'm rather doubtful he planned to meet up with someone after leaving. The odds of his killer being someone he knew who just happened to run into him upon leaving the party and kill him would be awfully coincidental. More likely it was a random attack, drunk accident, or someone from the party.
  11. And DNA! I couldn't believe they didn't bring someone in to go over that room with a fine-tooth comb. Ditto everything you said! I totally agree. It's a very intriguing real story, but this fictionalization was a big miss. I, too, did some serious eye rolling when the List case with this house was thrown in. I almost checked out there. It just felt like AHS: Murder House Part 2. I think one of the interesting angles to the real case was the fact that there was no creepy history with the house and the only other letter was 1 that the previous owner got just before moving.
  12. The real story is still unsolved/letter writer unknown.
  13. Evan (Brock) definitely had chemistry with Allie (or AllieDevil). They should have ran with that rather than this silly Chanel/Alex threesome crap. I could never get past Sonny (Zack)'s porn-stache. So no loss there for me if he goes.
  14. Fans are annoying the neighbors and local police....so basically karma has finally kicked in. https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/the-watcher-true-story-draws-netflix-fans-to-westfield-and-neighbors-arent-happy/3916045/
  15. “It is highly unlikely that this very accomplished 18-year-old female athlete walked barefoot, alone in the woods, without her cellphone, over stones and brush, in the dark along 1.5 miles of isolated railroad tracks on a hot summer night for a total of nearly four hours in order to commit suicide,” -Louise Houseman, a former senior investigator with the Atlantic County Medical Examiner’s Office I have to agree with the medical examiner on the Tiffany story. Suicide seems a little too convenient. I mean, it's a neat little way for the transit authority to wrap up their case, save a ton of paperwork, further investigation, and possibly charges for the drivers, but it doesn't add up. I might believe that it was accidental if an upset Tiffany had ran off following the arguments with her friends and parents and immediately been hit by the train, but hours later with her time in between unaccounted for makes it suspicious. And the shoes and headband intact and unbloody miles from the impact site doesn't add up. Same with her abandoned phone. If she didn't want to take calls or be tracked, she could have just turned it off. Does not seem likely at all that a teen girl attached to her phone would just drop it in the grass and walk off. Most likely the answer to what happened to Tiffany might have been uncovered if police had actually investigated the crime and interviewed her friends and the people at the party for statements (and inconsistent statements) regarding the events leading up to her death. Some of those kids know what happened. A few are probably responsible. The "drama" that evening likely plays a role in her death, but I don't think it led to suicide. It's far more likely some teens without the best intentions got out of hand. Now in their mid-twenties, they are hoping everyone stays quiet.
  16. If Ryan Murphy wanted to make a sequel to AHS: Murder House he should have just made it and left the Watcher story alone. After seeing this episode, I feel as if the real family has now been wronged twice.
  17. Me too! Original Chanel was a much more fun character. I liked her right from the bat.
  18. Not until he's 50. They generally won't give the shingles vaccine to younger people. My hubs has asked his family doctor before because he doesn't want to get it again. Very painful. Not fun. But they said he's not old enough to qualify. We joke he'll celebrate his 50th bday by going to the pharmacy for the shot.
  19. I read the story on the real family when it came out several years ago so I wanted to see this for that reason. But the real story remains unsolved so the problems I have with this series isn't knowing what happens, it's all the changes they made. For example, the characters seem to make a lot of poor or ill-thought-out decisions (much like horror movie characters do), but in real life I don't think the family did anything that they could have avoided the situation they ended up in. It could have happened to anyone who bought a house. The real story is much more compelling. I think some of the problem is that it really isn't a story that translates well to film. There's not a lot that's visual. Would have made a good book or documentary though.
  20. You can still get shingles even if you've had the chicken pox vaccine. I asked my kids' pediatrician this very question back when they were younger and getting vaccinated one time, hoping they wouldn't have to go through it later in life. My hubs had shingles when he was 30. It sucked for him. Pediatrician said you can get shingles from natural infection or the vaccine. It settles in your system either way.
  21. Drab and head scratching. All their instagram-worthy family photos would look a lot better in those frames.
  22. As soon as that voice started reading out the letters, I called out, "It's Mardevil!" 😁 Definitely same voice-altering device prop.
  23. Great follow-up article! Answered questions I still had and then some. I can't help but think that the case was solvable but there were people in the community who didn't want it solved. What might have started as one older person with too much time on their hands and a bite against the Broadduses eventually spiraled out of control, and that person is still being protected. If I was the Broadduses, I would have left Westfield and probably sold the house to that horror movie company. After everything they were put through, it would have been fun to watch the neighbor's get their panties in a wad when film crews besieged the neighborhood for weeks or months on end.
  24. Between the Rosemary's Baby rip offs and the devil sounding voice-over of the letters, it's as if it was written by Days of our Lives’ head writer Ron Carlivati. I swear some of this just played out on daytime a few months ago.
  25. I expected this to be much better. The real story is an engaging mystery. I truly feel sorry for the actual family. But these characters are terribly cliched and not sympathetic at all. I think it would have been better as a real documentary ala Unsolved Mysteries. Maybe then the real culprit would be finally apprehended.
