Yes, he probably misses having someone to break expensive heirlooms with now that Sami left town. It turns him on. -

More breathing treatments? No way is that a plain old cold. -
Unless.....it wasn't really Thomas at the Minions Movie. It was Rachel wearing a Thomas mask pretending to be Thomas, who was home the whole time waiting to murder Mommy...because he's the next contestant on the Devil is Right. 🤣 With Ron, it's a possibility.

I do believe Steve's subscription to the Salem brain has run out and auto-renew has not kicked in. -

These two are so grating and entitled, not to mention in need of a huge dose of reality. Many doctor offices will make you reschedule if you are late, and rightfully so. I generally schedule my appointments for first thing in the morning to avoid people like Carlin who are late and expect to still be seen and then throw off the schedule for the patients who arrived on time. It would be one thing if they had to travel out of town for a specialist appointment and got in a major traffic tie-up, called ahead to inform the staff they were stuck on the highway, and got the okay to be worked in when they got there, but mistaking the time and strolling in with coffee in hand should definitely have resulted in a rescheduled appointment. I also find it hard to believe they didn’t get a reminder call/text/email with the time. Most all practices send out at least one, and my kids’ pediatrician's system sends out 3 reminders for well child check-ups—2 weeks before, 1 week before, and 2 days before. I also agree that it’s pretty clear that Evan isn’t interested in going back to work or being an electrician. But then he should have gone to school for something else—something that would have allowed him to work from home and/or have a more flexible work schedule. -

Yep, I recall a line a few weeks or months back where Chloe said he was in boarding school. Year round perhaps? Apparently, the Salem schools aren't good enough on top of being super inconvenient. They send the kids home at the end of the day and for summer, and I guess that would cut into her time with Brady. 🙄 -
Alex insisting he's met the woman of his dreams is like Chad insisting he's found Abigail's killer.

The headline should read Re-run Ron Strikes Again While Sucking at Pacing for the Millionth Time. Orpheus is the king of long cons so his duplicity with the Salemites is coming to a head way too fast. If written true to character, he would have toyed with them much longer.

I was thinking she could make more as a NYC prostitute. 🤣 Would be safer than working for Kristin and closer to Parker. -

I did a major eye roll today when Chloe said she needed her job because of Parker. Yep, Parker totally needs a mom who works thousands of miles away with a bat-shit crazy "boss" who would totally kill her with an envelope opener if she didn't have to meet up with her daughter. Also, what the hell was Sarah wearing yesterday? The latest in chest belts or was that supposed to be non-functional suspenders? -

I've noticed this too. "Sweetness" has lost her sweetness. -

Same here! I'm not keen on her so far either. All the Staphanie casts seems to be a miss. They never look like or seem like the offspring of Stayla. But if I had to choose, the first one came the closest. -

Sloane Petterson? 🙄 Leo's attorney is Ferris Bueler's high school sweetheart? Guess we know what was on TV when Ron was writing that character. -

A professional nail salon treatment for a toddler is a waste of money and sends a message of entitlement to Layla. She'll be a spoiled brat some day soon just like her mother. I know they have no brains to figure this out but how do they have the money if neither of them are actively employed. -

lol @ Steve moving Kayla out of the way and checking for a bomb in the flowers. The Salem PD enlists the help of the victim's husband to search for evidence? 🙄 Ron should publish their procedural manual; I bet it's hilarious. The whole section on avoiding compromised evidence must have been ripped out. And apparently, Jada and Chad didn't search very diligently, or they'd have stumbled upon Rolf's lab. Red underpants or not, Alex is still Ben in my eyes. If anything, (and I can't believe I'm saying this) his personality is more awful. *runs to corner and hides* -

Lucas plead guilty to his charges for kidnapping Sami and is on his way to Statesville. His reasoning (to Kate yesterday) was that Allie is upset with him and he wanted to show her that he was taking responsibility for his actions. -

While I don't know what the docs will diagnoses Carlin with heath wise, lifestyle wise it's clear they suffer from Piss Poor Planning. We know they stopped using birth control and were trying to have Zade, yet given that Evan was at the end of his school time and so close to graduation, it would have made a lot more sense to have planned for a second baby after Evan graduated. Same with the house purchase. They bought at one of the highest price points of the market, at the same time as the arrival of baby #2, and while Evan was trying to finish schooling. Spacing all of these events out would have made a lot more sense, less stress, and optimal use of Evan's available time off. -

Does BSB have some kind of small business health insurance for employees? If not, I don't understand how C& E can survive without Evan's health insurance from work or what did Z&W do with the NICU bills from their last birth. Zack had already left the force by then, correct? Frankly, I don't see how C&E survive now with a new (and presumably big) mortgage, 2 kids, multiple vacations, eating out, taxes, car/home insurance, and medical bills. The fundies might be all about living "debt" free (and Erin and Chad might) but I can't imagine C & E aren't swimming in debt or soon will be. -

Anna pointing the power tool was funny. Couldn't decide if she was holding it with a cloth so she didn't get her hands dirty or didn't put fingerprints on it. 😄 Alex, Allie, and Chanel were just cringey, -

I can't decide which was more laughable, vigilante Chad barging into the police station proclaiming another Salemite as Abigail's killer or Leo claiming the Dimera Mansion was a fortress. Chez House of Horrors gets more foot traffic than Murder Park. When Chad called Rafe and said, "I'm down here with Abigail's killer?" I really wanted Rafe to reply, "Who do you think it is now?" Why did 3 adults fail to confirm to Thomas that Leo is NOT the tooth fairy. Kid's going to need more therapy than he already does. LOL @ "Your weasel and my weasel are the same damn weasel." -
The End of Days: Speculation on Narrative
Peanut6711 replied to DisneyBoy's topic in Days Of Our Lives
If Ron and Ken and the powers to be cared about the fans, which I'm sure they don't, they'd take the last week on the air on NBC to just have major characters sit around and reminisce the good stuff/good old days with real flashbacks. (Like the used to do for their big anniversary years). Then they can pick up the continuing storyline over on Peacock. But it would at least give the show a bit of an NBC daytime send off. -

I don't know. He nailed his Devil Doug portrayal so unless he's had health issues since then, he should do fine. I'd take Doug over his harpy wife going on and on about the memories of the years. -

This Shawn/Belle/Jan-baby storyline has been written bizarrely from day one, and Belle's whole "I never wanted this to happen" sympathy line today in regard to the kid turning out to not be Shawn's was just as ridiculous. When your psycho enemy gets knocked up by your husband who she's obsessed with, of course you hope the kid isn't actually his. Saying otherwise doesn't make Belle a saint (thought I get the feeling that's the characterization they are trying for), it's makes her a lying idiot. While I get that Shawn bonded with the baby, they both should be elated that they aren't shackled to Jan's offspring for decades. -

I personally thought the announcement came kinda late given that the switch over is barely a month away. But I guess Ken & company wanted to wait till Sept. (aka the last minute) to make their announcement. I vote that everyone packs up and moves out of Salem. Then they can say their good-byes and the viewers get proper closure. But knowing Ron, everyone will probably get possessed by the devil and end up in hell.
