That was awful. Brianna (?), imho, was outpaced. There were long talky moments where B could, and should, have inserted herself in an effort to get KAC back on topic. I thought it was a weak showing and considered throwing something at the teevee but gritted my teeth and changed the channel instead. Not usually a CNN watcher and had not seen Brianna before. She was really ineffective last night. KAC rolled right over her. Imho

Imho the NRA is nothing more than the lobbying arm of gun manufacturers.

I continue to be astonished that the rallying cry is, after each and all of these horrendous events, that we need more guns! Everyone's a goddamn cowboy sharpshooter potential hero who would probably get shot before s/he got the gun out.

And what's even worse, imho, is that if/when he doesn't win, this country is left with a fairly large segement of the voting population who think the elections are rigged and they wuz robbed. And not only were they robbed, in their minds, but now satan is their overlord and it's time for the don't-tread-on-me militia. The anger... The Tea Party worried me. Failed Trump supporters terrify me.

I have gotten so tired of Allred jumping on everyone's bandwagon but this? Go Gloria! And I count myself as one who thinks the Supreme Court overreached with their last 2nd Amendment decision. Like the Citizens United decision. I don't think all of the pro-gun people think of their militias as being supportive of the established military so at what point does my neighbor's militia become my foe? But guns taken away? Never happen. Most are asking simply for better background checks and the closing of the gunshow loophole.

Hey, Stern made the news grind! This point has been reached partly 'cuz of him. I'm tempted to add him back to my Sirius script. Years ago he had about 3 of Trump's old girlfriends on and boy did they dish. One cracked up describing watching him do his own hair every morning! The media could have dug this crap up way before now. And lots of other crap rather than giving over their networks to him for the last 12 months. They let him blather on about Hillary's past but they wouldn't look behind his curtain. Just giggled with a, Can you believe he just said that?

Liked how they addressed Trump's looming moving presence. Complete with big screen looming behind them. Whoopi actually made me laugh. Wow. They're doing a decent job covering last night's antics, imho. They've hit more low and highlights in 10 minutes than MSNBC and CNN did in 2 hours. And with less talkover than Morning Joe. Jed even had something sane to contribute. Ooh. Joy hates hates hates Trump. No holds barred.

Ha! Love that Chris Jansing just read a number of tweets from pro athletes saying that what Trump and Billy did is not locker room talk. And others commented being offended and saying and hearing the same. MSNBC also did have a Politifact-checker on this morning but I can't find a link. Both made mistakes but I think Trump alone got a pants-on-fire determination. Politifact person actually laughed out loud at his premise. Pence. No words.

I used the word "predatory". CNN is just now reporting on that. We're not the only ones, his looming has gone viral. CC just pointed out that it didn't really even seem like a Town Hall. I agree. I expected more discourse with the "people". That was a big appeal to me.

I think Trump's leaning on them both and on top of that Joe is trying to lean on Mika and she's trying to fight back. Frankly, with all of the talkover I understood maybe half of what was said but she seemed to be pushing back? Helluva way to run a "talk" show. Did they not think of "the optics" when they were on their way to Trump Tower? Nicole has surprised me these last 24 hours.
