  1. Well, Donnie showed up only to be shouted down by Joe. Unbelievable. What a mess this show is. Now I'm hoping for the awkward pauses I predicted. Joe's acting like a toddler who's being told he can't have that toy. I just can't deal with all of the talkover and yelling and mocking. And today's the day they have kids there? Who are the kids? And why? Maybe Eugene will help dial things down. Geesh.
  2. Did Mika accidentally put on Joe's fleece this morning? Halperin, ugh. Oh Joe. Shut up. Don't mock with that Pence-voice again. You sound like a toddler. And fake outrage doesn't work either. Oooh. Mika goes after Nicole!?! Tells her to do a little googling and learn some facts ?Who'd she just call pathetic weak and spineless? What the...? Wow. Wish Donnie was here.
  3. What confused me was both Heidi and Nina mentioned menus (one Chinese one Japanese) so I decided to take a google-peek and saw characters. At any rate, it's safe to say Tasha did not execute her vision very well.
  4. That's what I was thinking. But there they are. Front row. Larry's here! Is Chris H. coming back?
  5. I hate the noise but get a kick out of the signs. Saw a couple for Harambe.
  6. At least that Breaking News chyron worked.
  7. Unbelievable. I hope he shoots himself in his own foot.
  8. I'm an almost unapologetic Stern fan. And though Robin, his newsperson, isn't 100% accurate Howard takes great pleasure in knowing what he's talking about and seems to enjoy unmasking celebs. His interview style gets 'em comfortable, then he leads them a bit and next thing they've said something embarrassing or is new news. He's good. I didn't pay the extra Sirius for him but would love to hear his take now. It's kind of a shame his raunch is what most remember. A shame but understandable. After the MSNBC Todd v Paladino (?) takedown I switched to CNN and heard another unhinged discussion. Another refusal to admit sexual assault is wrong. This time because the person making the claim wouldn't go on camera and identify herself. I think she told the on-air person that Trump gave her a Tic-Tac and then moved in and kissed her on the lips. Doesn't count 'cuz she wouldn't right then and there go public. I got his "circumstantial" argument but he wouldn't he even answer it as a hypothetical.
  9. I'm sure he has. Doesn't mean he had to be Trump's "wingman". Or maybe he was that palsy-walsy with everyone? Disgusting. Ooh. I haven't checked his FB. Thanks.
  10. OMG! That was on during my drive home and Chuck did a great job! That guy was up there with conspiracy theorists. Worse, because he's in a position of power. I'm not sure myself what part of this mess disgusts me the most but the press are pretty much at the top. I blame them for not doing their jobs and instead becoming cheerleaders for one candidate to the exception of any other news. Did they think Trump's candidacy was funny? That it was a novelty and would never happen? They'd get to covering all of that other stuff eventually? I don't know, but imho they reliquinshed their duties to inform the public in a fair and even manner and bought into an easy story rather than do actual work. There was/is so much out there. Surely some of them listen to Stern! That's a goldmine. Stern did a better job exposing some of Trump's weaknesses than today's media. I've heard him interview Trump. I was appalled years ago.
  11. That really disgusts me. That is the state of US journalism these days? Wusses? We're screwed.
  12. And those Hallmark shows sell books! Lots of 'em. Drat.
  13. That must be what DirectTv, and I, have. Damn. The judge stuff can be fun but...
  14. Last night, during a Trump overview, they replayed that moment when Megan K. asked DT about his hateful remarks about women and he excused it by saying not all women, just Rosie, and the entire audience howled with laughter. Gave me such a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I cannot imagine what Rosie is going through. Love her and wish her all the best.
  15. And the colors didn't seem nearly saturated or deep, or something, as Rasta colors. But I think others complained that their fabric colors/designs came out lighter than they had hoped. I don't know what the shapes were supposed to be. The extent of my eating Chinese food is takeout and I've never been to a Japanese restaurant so had absolutely no clue what they were going on about. But google is, sometimes, my friend and this is pretty much what I pictured and I still don't get what they were going on about. They should have left that comparison behind. imho
  16. I'm overthinking this 'cuz I was confused. I don't remember seeing mini-mums before so took a look for the differences. They kinda' look alike and oddly, imho, according to HGTV : 'Chrysanthemums, or mums, include over 200 species of the aster family. So all mums are asters, but not all asters are mums." So I guess I'm still confused! They sure are purty. French is such a pretty language.
  17. Ha! No kidding. He's s smarmy. And full of hmself. What does NBC see? I'll bet he's hoping there are no hot-mic moments floating around from when he hosted MissUSA and MissUniverse. From Wiki: 'Bush co-hosted the Miss Universe pageant four times: in 2003 and 2004 with Daisy Fuentes; in 2005 with fellow Access Hollywood co-anchor Nancy O'Dell; and in 2009 with Claudia Jordan. He has also co-hosted the Miss USA pageant four times, with almost the same partners: in 2003 with Fuentes; 2004 and 2005 with O'Dell; and again in 2009, this time with Nadine Velazquez. After the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards of 2008 were cancelled as a result of the 2007–08 Writers Guild of America strike, Bush co-hosted the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards Announcement press conference with Nancy O'Dell on January 13, 2008.' bolding mine. Hmmm. Look who he hosted with in 2005. Can't imagine Trump wasn't there to oversee his realm. Ugh.
  18. It appears that Billy's safe but I have to wonder for how long. I don't know how much weight the TodayShow gives their social media but their facebook account has lots of Billy-critics. To say the least. Not a registered Twitter person but I'm guessing it's blowing up there too. It's been mentioned in more than one article that the Today Show is so female-centric, viewers and employees, that it will be a very awkward walk he's going to have to take. I'm sure it won't help that he tells Zucker, actress who greeted the bus, to "give the Donald a hug." And he's supposed to be the next Matt Lauer? Hard to believe, especially 'cuz them shoes ain't all that big to fill, imho.
  19. There's also a TrueCrimeBooks thread in the books forum.
  20. Spurge's little fedora looked a bit small too. And he's so young to maybe "grow into" something, larger?
  21. OWN (Oprah) frequently shows Datelines during the day. And Reelz can be a good spot for episodes of Snapped and Crime 360. I had not heard of JusticeNetwork so appreciate the heads up though I've been watching fewer true crime things lately. Not only are they really repetitive but they kind of start getting in my head. Of course it doesn't help that I also read true crime. The only reenactment shows I like include interviews with some of the actual "players" and I hate the lurid stuff. And I really miss CourtTv. I used to love watching the actual trials (never forget the Jenny Jones one) and sometimes something interesting would be going on when I got home from work. One time I caught a Manson parole hearing. Yikes. Spooky.
  22. If this is a campaign dump I still believe that enough of this was already out there for any self-respecting journalist to find. And report. I'm sure corporate overlords have to take some blame but... My brain is hurting. Again.
  23. Eeeee!!! Boob Boob and more Boob. Kid is cute. Looks happy. And clean. Odd little "It's the most wonderful time of the year" sweater. A black Christmas sweater? Maybe they're going for emo.
