  1. Please tell me audio at least still exists of this! Not only was Steve Alice’s fiancée, but Rachel was also Alice’s sister-in-law! That had to have been red hot at the time!
  2. Stefan O has been non-viable since he knowingly had sex with an alternate personality. No matter what anyone thinks of Abigail, that was still vile, what he did to her, and he deserved her using him to her own means. Show should have just shipped him off with no explanation as they have for several better characters portrayed by better actors.
  3. Yet, it was the other car that hit him. I agree that it’s a good thing that Philip will no longer be driving on public roads at his age, and even better that he can still drive on the properties privately owned by the family, but it just irks me that everyone is so ready to blame him for the accident just because of his advanced age. Do we know anything about what the other driver may or may not have been doing at the time of the accident? It reminds me of some appalling statements in the wake of the Brexit vote that people over a certain age shouldn’t have been allowed to vote on such an issue. What’s next, putting all people of a certain age in kennels so they don’t offend the sensibilities of the younger generations?
  4. That was about fifty years ago. I’ve been intermittently looking for assholes on Twitter today and no one’s been sending death threats to Alshon Jeffery like they did to Cody Parkey in Chicago last week.
  5. Seems like most of us are falling all over ourselves to support Alshon. We know what he’s already done for us. Despite our mostly undeserved reputation as savages, we’re not.
  6. While I’m sympathetic to Gabi’s need for revenge or justice, she crossed the line a while ago. For what happened to Julie, who simply discovered the truth and was rightly pissed and horrified, Gabi needs to answer for that. And it may be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t really care that Julie hasn’t gotten over Gabi’s part in the death of Nick, who was only thrown under the bus and written totally OOC because there was a need for a token homophobe to give WilSon some drama because reasons.
  7. Here’s hoping Ava rejects an actual relationship with “Kevin” and she’s next.
  8. That’s a laugh, thinking MV and KW could be mistaken for each other. KW conveys an inherent sweetness and caring that MW could never hope to. Meanwhile, I feel nothing for Ava. She was just far too nasty and vengeful against her own daughter, never minding the fact that it was Ava herself who showed Kiki that nothing was off limits, while she was fucking Morgan behind Kiki’s back. She can cry all she wants now that Kiki’s dead, it doesn’t change how she treated her while Kiki was alive.
  9. Then again, it would have been over frickin EJ, so no one would have looked anything but pathetic. I mean, more so than both looked fighting over frickin rapist EJ anyway, so MMV. Really hate him and if he’s back, hopefully it’s to die all over again in a manner that leaves no one to mourn his predatory, blackmailing ass. Both Sami and Abby deserved better than to be pitted against each other for EJ’s rank ass.
  10. Eh, we already heard last season that Becky wanted kids with Mark and part of the reason she was so unhappy was because it never happened, so I look at this more as one of Becky’s dreams coming true. Will it be easy for her? No. But I’m okay with it if it means she finally gets something she’s wanted and thought she’d never get.
  11. +1 You explained why I’ll always be Team Robert over Team Anna better than I ever could. Of course, Robin unfavorably comparing Robert to Jason the first time she saw him in fourteen years (after he’d left only to save Anna and bring her home to Robin) and then Anna kicking him in the face and blaming him for the time she lost the first time SHE saw him in fourteen years still sticks in my craw. Robert was LEAST responsible for how it all went down and he paid for it far longer than Anna ever did.
  12. Excellent. I’m glad viewers aren’t expected to forget that Kiki is simply following her wretched mother’s example in having absolutely no loyalty to family when peen is involved. It’s a bad reflection on Kiki that she sank to Ava’s level, but wretched Ava showed the way. Why are the viewers being punished with Steve Burton again?
  13. Speaking as someone who only actually watches the show when Jack checks back in every few years.... Are they serious with Claire? She seriously looks like she could be Belle’s Irish twin.
  14. Greg Vaughan as Lucky could have been a leading man and a hero on any halfway decent show that wasn’t intent on glorifying MB and especially SB as the gangster killers they really were. It’s not Greg Vaughan’s fault the deck was stacked against him before he even arrived and Guza and Geary hated him solely because he wasn’t JJ. Personally, I’m one of the few who doesn’t worship at the altar of Jonathan Jackson and thought that Greg Vaughan was a much better screen partner for Rebecca Herbst (another unpopular opinion, but I’ve never seen anything particularly special about her, just another daytime actress) than JJ ever was.
  15. Jiz and Jake fans are also not too fond of the fact that Drew showed more interest in Jake than Jason ever did. God, someone tell me why these idiot fans want Jason anywhere near anyone they like? Jason is literally the anti #metoo movement. He brings NOTHING and literally everyone in Jason’s life was better off when he was dead or while Drew thought he was Jason.
  16. What was it Sam said to those two guys, Joyce and Brookline, who sent that nasty anonymous note with the dead flowers to Ainsley? Something like, “Hey, guys, when I write something, I sign my name to it.”
  17. If Anna hadn’t landed them on that boat in the first place, neither would have been thought dead. #TeamRobert
  18. Frankly, if this show wants any of the eventual amounts of realism that set it apart m, Roseanne will have died due to an unforeseen complication from knee surgery. I sincerely hope they don’t take any cheap shots at Roseanne, because it’ll just seem like a cheap shop. Move on, everyone.
  19. Man, I’m glad The Closer finally made its way to Amazon. Syndication only seems to be showing Major Crimes, a great show in its own right, but I much prefer The Closer myself.
  20. Nor I. I’m not a Charles-hater; in fact, I’m a little fond of him in spite of myself. But it’s going to be a different world when Her Majesty and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh go. And I don’t think one will significantly outlive the other, unless it’s her.
  21. Or Captain Raydor didn’t yet exist, so of course she wouldn’t be running an IA investigation at that time?
  22. I’ll go further than you. I LOVED Mandy. She was my favorite character in season 1, because she embodied some of what I’ve always seen as the ridiculousness of politics and she was the only one who OWNED it. Even at the time, I thought she was the most down-to-earth, relatable character in a show full of pretentious, self-important snots, and I was always sorry she never came back. But I’m sure whatever Mandy wound up doing, she did it fabulously.
  23. I’m pretty much in this for Dan and Jackie. If they develop the others better than they were able to last season, I’ll probably stay for them. I really hope there are no heavy-handed meta potshots at Roseanne Barr the way Fuller House did the Olsen twins in their first episode. I hope they quickly deal with Roseanne’s absence (I’m hoping for death by knee surgery, which was beautifully set up last season) and move on.
  24. If they could spin some good, happy stuff, as well as some setbacks, happening as the karmic scales shifting back to zero after FEMA funding </> Roseanne dying during knee surgery, it could work out?
