  1. The reason I care so little about the Michael/Jason storyline is that it is now just another part of the ridiculous, tiresome Sin Rostro storyline. It's almost as if Rose has superpowers - she seems to have control over everyone everywhere. If any unbelievable thing happens, - it was ROSE, the evil genius!! I am over Rose. I want her gone. I want any and every thing to do with her gone.
  2. She seems to bring out the worst in him, which is the opposite of what an SO is supposed to do for you. Every interaction he has with April makes me lose more respect for him. I can't even blame her anymore. ETA: It's like he becomes desperate around her. Not a good look for him.
  3. Gina Rodriguez did a good job on her rambling monologue, but I honestly didn't feel anything until Rafael broke down. I'm glad they gave him some space to show his feelings, too.
  4. That was my favorite moment. This reminds me: It was funny to see everyone's choice of sleepwear. It seemed appropriate for Justine and Sandra to be wearing the full-length floral flannel gowns.
  5. Yeah, Jerry seems pretty weak, and the brain injury doesn't help. I'm trying to imagine the conversation that led to them sexing in Glenn's office. When I heard the heavy breathing coming from Glenn's office as Dina approached, I was hoping it was Jerry and Sandra. That payoff was excellent.
  6. Aired: 3/21/2019 Sandra!!! and Jerry, back together again! Let's hope Glenn doesn't find out sex has been had in his office.
  7. Exactly. In the final ruling, he strongly implied that not getting prenatal care is a criminal act. That would leave the case wide open for appeal. The guy Madeline is dating is a reporter who trying to get information on her. To what end, we don't know yet, but I got the impression that he was looking for dirt. I'm wondering if seeing her murder board on Rosemary's case will bring him over to her side. I felt sorry for Bodie with his fuck buddy. He has strong feelings for her, and she's not having it. He's just hurting himself by seeing her. I was glad to see that Madeline had an SO while she was in prison. I felt like that scene, along with the one with Rosemary's father, added some more dimension to her character.
  8. I only started watching the show again because Vicki came back. Now that she's gone for good (why would she come back now?), I doubt I'll stick around much longer. I second the comment upthread about how quickly the new dad is moving on with Natalie. His wife has been dead about 5 mins. His entire life plan was shattered, and he's already moved on enough to date? Everything happens on this show too quickly. Rapid healing, dead spouses immediately forgotten -- what's the rush?
  9. I haven't been watching this series for long. What was the case that the board was deciding at the beginning of the episode?
  10. Seriously. These people are supposed to be attorneys, yet they go around accusing people based on the flimsiest of evidence. It's exasperating. This show has become so convoluted that I just watch each episode as a one-off. I've stopped trying to follow the actual story. I don't get what Laurel's family's beef is with everyone. It seems like the initial offense was that she got pregnant by a black guy, but that just seems like a preposterous reason to start a war within and outside the family. Her dad has Wes killed, she gets her dad put in prison, and now her brother is linked to Nate Sr.'s death? Why?
  11. Yeah, I'm a little worried about Robin if Ava really is as possessive of Connor as the show is implying. Exactly. When he took the dog, I thought, "Dude, you are homeless yourself." I appreciate his kind gesture, but it's not the right time for him to become a pet owner. So Maggie is out and about and looking great one week after having a kidney removed. Okay, show. I thought that we had fast forwarded by a few weeks or so until Natalie it had only been a week.
  12. The rock climber's mom looked familiar to me, but I couldn't figure out why. I looked at the opening credits and realized that she was Kimiko Gelman, who played Rose on "Rags to Riches," a show from the 80s that I loved as a kid.
  13. Conner and Ava were doing surgery on an HIV-positive patient. Ava accidentally on purpose made a careless move and her hand was cut. Since she could have been exposed to HIV, she had to leave immediately and go on antivirals and she can't work for 2 weeks (I think?) Later, as Conner is leaving the hospital, one of the surgery nurses says, "I can't be believe Dr. Bekker did that. She's usually extremely careful." The implication is that she made the cut happen on purpose so that Conner will be nice to her so they can get back together.
  14. Laurel's life has gone through complete upheaval. It would have been better for her and us, as the audience, if she'd taken a year off and gone into hiding.
  15. I haven't watched this show in a while, but I read today that Vicky came back, so I just binged all of the episodes since her reappearance. I was all excited, but now I'm sad again. So disappointing that he would chose April over Vicky. Word. I just watched pregnant patients in three consecutive episodes. What's up with that? Two of the mothers looked so much alike that I got confused about the storyline for a moment. I guess D. W. Moffatt is the go-to actor for dads now.
  16. Wow! Well, I'm not sorry to see the show go, but I am sorry for Mara Brock Akil and for the cast and crew that things ended like this.
  17. Wow, she sounds amazing. It sounds like her job is her calling.
  18. I agree, but I thought she assumed he'd read the letter, but didn't show up for their meeting. She thought he'd rejected her.
  19. IIRC, he's a surfing instructor. Nathaniel mentioned that Hector was his instructor, and I think Heather mentioned that he'd gotten a job in the area where they moved.
  20. The Mae and Connie showdown was fun to watch. I thought Mae's behavior in that scene, and the walking scene with Grace, showed once again why she shouldn't be the head pastor. She lashes out at even the hint of criticism. Being a pastor isn't just about your ability to preach. It's being a leader, setting an example, being patient and loving, and sincerely encouraging others. Mae has shown some leadership skills, but none of the other things. All of the good things about her are done for show. I know she is damaged from her past, but she needs to get help with her own issues before she can help others. Compare her reaction to the deacon board to James's. He told them off, too, but he was much more effective. He can throw shade with a smile on his face. I was expecting to see more with Zora. Also, Tasha's just walking around? I thought she'd be hiding somewhere. Didn't Basie and Tasha have kids last season? Maybe I just imagined that.
  21. The new episode was outstanding. LeToya Luckett is killing it in this role. Rochelle is seriously going with playing innocent? Priceless. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm most interested in what's going to happen to/with Tasha. Go, Charity! I wonder if we'll see the FBI agent again.
  22. Wasn't Faith also light-skinned? I remember thinking that she and Grace resembled each other. I don't think having Grace be Lionel's has anything to go with skin color. It's more about Mae's disdain for Grace.
  23. When they're in the kitchen, she says, "Why not ask your father for money? Oliver told me he's rich."
  24. She really does not like or respect him.
