  1. Janine held them over at the end of the day to make her announcement. I assumed that Melissa's ribs were in the slow cooker at home and she wanted to get to them. It was hard to see, but the jelly bean belt had jelly bean-shaped decorations on the buckle.
  2. She's a scientist. There was that episode with the explosion at her lab.
  3. This and Amanda has a history of giving Faith a hard time about her boyfriends. That may have made sense when Faith was a teenager who got pregnant accidentally, but it's inappropriate for her to be doing that to a woman in her 30s.
  4. We had a long-term sub when I was in 4th grade because my teacher had to have surgery. I was so sad when the sub left and my teacher returned. She'd told us she was would be in another classroom at our school that following week, but she was sent somewhere else, and I never saw her again ๐Ÿ˜”
  5. But isn't the whole point of the show that she's starting her life over and moving on? Why wouldn't a romance be part of that? The story with Phillip was emotional, but it got resolved. Ever since she had that cute date with the ghost, I've been wanting her to a find living person to date. I like that she's having something fun and not too serious in her life after how rough the preceding year was. Plus, Nell has been so wrapped up in Edward's and Sam's lives. She needs something of her own. I'm glad they got the "I like you. Do you like me?" part over with instead of dragging out a "will they, won't they" situation.
  6. It looks like Lady Danbury will be helping someone pick out a suitor. With the editing, I couldn't tell whom she was talking to, maybe Penelope, though Francesca seems more likely. I think Francesca is definitely getting a plot this season. I haven't read the books, but from what I understand, she has a relationship that precedes her book, so they have to do the set-up to her story in an earlier season.
  7. ๐Ÿ˜‚ The look on Amanda's face when she said "Ormewood, I *know* you are not eating in my car," including the eye-squint. Priceless. Why is Amanda cock-blocking Faith? So unnecessary.
  8. I had completely missed that she called him "Wilbur." ๐Ÿฅน Re: how Faith found out what Amanda had done. I wonder if Will or even Amanda gave her heads up about the press conference.
  9. Yes, it was two different actors. The actor in the flashbacks was Chad Gall.
  10. Faith's mom told him everything. That might have been the first time he's ever seen a photo of himself that young. He seemed really touched to find it.
  11. It bugs me so much when movies and TV shows defy the laws of physics. The people survived in those lifeboats in the middle of that storm with huge waves when there was no one nearby to pick them up? How? Of course the show was never going to go there with that devastating of an outcome, but that was a huge leap.
  12. There was also the guy who was killed by the first bomb, the communications officer, so it was 3 out 4. He did do a really good death scene. The only thing I could think about when they were on the couch was how sore they must be from all their strenuous activities of the night before. Not sure how they will get busy with everything on their bodies hurting, but I suppose where there's a will, there's a way.
  13. OMG, yes! I have to watch Matlock whenever I visit my grandma. I hadn't made the connection that it was the same actor.
  14. He was so funny in American Fiction.
  15. I didn't know this was going to be a 3 parter (it's ending next week, right?) They're dragging this out. People are used to streaming these kinds of to-be-continued stories now. Having it go over 3 literal weeks is testing my patience.
  16. I like TJ and Nell, too. They would work as friends or as a couple. She needs new people in life.
  17. Karan Soni is also in a cute romantic drama called 7 Days. It's on Hulu. I think the kid that Ava blocked was the one who broke two toilets last season.
  18. Thanks @Snazzy Daisy. Seeing this video has made my day ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
  19. Quinta Brunson won Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series and William Stanford Davis won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the NAACP Image Awards on Saturday. Abbott Elementary also won for Outstanding Comedy Series.
  20. The board game Drought was on the top of Jacob's box when he was moving in. Nice callback to the game night with Janine's sister. Didn't they already kind of bond in that Christmas episode? Although it's more like Jacob is Mr. Johnson's biggest fan than he is a friend.
  21. My favorite side moment was Dr. Pete being petty because they didn't bring him any cake. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Ormewood was sooo proud of himself for going to grocery store and dropping the kids off at school. Aww, look at him, finally being a parent.
  22. Can Zola disappear like the new docs did last year? I'd even be cool with them killing her off at this point. Can't they give Crockett someone less annoying to interact with?
  23. Zach's singing outro and the fleeing sub in the cold open were my two favorite scenes.
  24. I wasn't 100 percent paying attention so maybe I missed it, but was there any resolution to Angie "killing" her abuser? She was supposed to have a hearing, but then she was kidnapped. Now, she's talking about taking the physical exam to come back to work. Did they mention anything about the outcome of the hearing or if she got therapy or anything? I imagine that any time off for the incident would coincide with her physical recovery, but until the girl popped up, I had forgotten about the whole thing.
  25. I always look forward to the these, too. Using the monitors was very clever. It's incredibly sad that the girl Angie tried to help last season has ended up in such a crappy situation. She's all alone in the world now?
