Maybe the fact that season 3 isn't on Prime Video yet, even though it was shown in Britain about 2 years ago! What the heck is Amazon waiting for?
-
I find Paul to be a sour child with a Messiah complex; maybe he'll be different if he survives. Besides the fact that the face markings are gone, he is visibly less self-assured than before. Less swagger, more doubt.
-
It seems like he's trying to catch a glimpse of someone he loves, or used to love. Merely existing in this society is exhausting, and to top it off you have to wear a corset!
-
I think he really believes in Sol now and sees himself as a prophet, doing Sol's work and spreading Sol's word. Of course, this comes with a side of "believe or die you heathens".
-
And if he did want to step out: 1. surely he could do better than Ms. Hatchet-face. 2. he wouldn't be stupid enough to fool around right under his wife's nose.
-
I don't find him at all attractive physically, but the way he loves his wife and stands up for her is very hot. That governess better watch herself because Bertha will CUT her.
-
I think you're absolutely right about Max. Without all the social constraints he could just be friends/colleagues with the 2 women; but as things are now it would be one more thing his parents disapprove of and Max probably can't take any more parental disapproval. I find Clara extremely annoying and needy.

I wonder if she treats all her clients that way or just Prince because they were close and she (presumably) knows him very well. Why do all Wendy's explanations of behavior sound like Psychology 101 and hardly worthy of a million dollar salary?
-
As I neither climb nor have a therapist, I happily defer to your greater knowledge 😄
-
The climbing scene? She is a climbing coach and that's how she talked to him because he was having trouble. Maybe later we'll see conflict between her and Wendy, but it wouldn't be over Wendy's job. Ex-wife seems to be in a totally different place career-wise.

If this means his story arc on "that other show" will end, I'm all for it!
-
I don't think trust has much to do with it. At this level it's probably all past performance and having some leverage in case the hired help needs correction.
-
I don't think anyone could possibly be as morally bankrupt as Axe, but I don't think Prince is any kind of saint either. He's much more interesting to watch because the character is more nuanced and less "win at any cost" than Axe was written. For me, it was a welcome relief to actually enjoy an episode without cringing. Looking forward to this season, at least until Chuck starts his bullshit again. And please less of Chuck Sr.! Jeffrey DeMunn is a wonderful actor but his character is too loathsome for words.

I found this episode soooo boring, and I loathe Rollins. Carisi can do much better.

S02.E12: As Iago Is To Othello
Broderbits replied to WendyCR72's topic in Law & Order: Organized Crime
I agree with many of the criticisms of this show, but I still enjoy it MUCH more than SVU. As soon as James Cromwell appeared it was obvious he would be more than just a neighborly suitor; it's still disappointing to see him as a Very Bad Man. -
Agree, but I felt really bad for the family she left behind. S.Epatha Merkerson was awesome in the OR!
-
That begs the question: what DO those girls do all day? Stand around and bitch? Play with whatever make-up they have left? Many of them don't seem too concerned about being stranded and running out of food.
-
Also, they're probably relieved that this is one of the few shows that doesn't portray the FBI as "Feebs"- incompetent, arrogant assholes. Original L&O used to do that all the time, so maybe this is Dick Wolf's mea culpa.
-
But we were seeing her through the eyes of Tai, who loved her and was tripping on mushrooms. Those 2 conditions can totally distort one's vision.
-
They did show Travis checking the net he had set up for catching fish, but it was empty (and it looked like a pretty half-assed effort anyway). Respect! Deep awe-struck respect!
-
Laura Lee probably felt that God was her co-pilot 😁

Thank you for this - it was wonderful!!

LOL, that's what I did with Westworld! So I'm very grateful to everyone here paying such close attention to details that my ancient eyes are missing. Your efforts are much appreciated!
-
That may be true, but I think the reality is that many people do look at every little thing hoping to catch some puzzle piece or clue. I offer as an example Westworld; people on this board went through that like buzzards picking over a carcass. Also Titans and Doom Patrol, even Billions.

I was an adult and still got freaked out! That episode actually makes me dizzy every time I see it.
