  1. Tin Star was extremely intense, definitely not recommended for the faint of heart. I loved it! CH was prominent in seasons 1 & 2; season 3 has yet to be released on Amazon Prime, but was aired in England last year.
  2. I don't think he cares about the car at all; he just wants to control Allison and have her handy when he needs something. Kevin is the King of his world.
  3. Let's see, Kevin has caused Allison to lose her job as a paralegal, spent all their savings on crap for himself, publicly ridiculed and dismissed her, and sicced the cops on her when she didn't answer her phone. Seems pretty malicious to me and willful ignorance doesn't excuse it.
  4. Do we really think Neil is competent enough to record a conversation? Does he even have a job? Maybe it's just me, but I think Detective Tammy is too possessive with Patty.
  5. I feel the same way! I loved Enlightened but this is boring the pants off me and I just leave the room when the teenage girls are on.
  6. Are you thinking of Warehouse 13? Go look it up on IMDB.com and see if any of the actors look familiar.
  7. When they first met it was a case of "opposites attract" - Diane was a feminist and a Democrat, Kurt was a Sarah Palin supporter. It was an intense physical relationship. Diane asked him to marry her and he agreed, but it was pretty clear that he would have been ok with maintaining the status quo. And he had a least one affair after they were married, for which I do not recall an apology (whereas Diane was always apologizing for stuff, like trying to get Kurt more money for selling his business). A little comforting is the least he can do.
  8. Not just here, he's made terrible choices since we first met him on The Good Wife. I'll never understand why Diane married him; she could have just had a physical relationship with him and not bound herself to him legally. I don't think Patti Nyholm would take the pay cut or want to play by the rules required as an AUSA. Nancy "I'm a Michigan girl" Crozier makes more sense. Guess they couldn't get AUSA Josh Perotti either.
  9. A child would take too much attention away from Kevin, he wouldn't like the competition. Plus, if you think about it, Kevin IS the child. He's the big brother and Neil is the adoring little brother.
  10. Someone send a note to Samuel L Jackson, because I really want to see a show based on this idea!
  11. I'm not understanding what "cancel culture" has to do with reality. Does it mean people are being denied access to Twitter (full disclosure: I have never Twittered) or other social media platforms? If so, that's not denying anyone's right to free speech and private companies can "cancel" whomever they want. Does it mean someone might lose a speaking engagement or other money-making opportunity? That's contract law and a reminder to read before signing; go get another job at a friendlier venue. Each of us has a right not to listen to stuff we don't want to hear. It may not be in our best interest, it may be self-destructive, but it's human behavior.
  12. IDK, the Djinn seems to have latched onto Kristin and I took the ending to mean the little girl is actually a neophyte pyro. I think these rituals are just fun distractions for the demons that break up the monotony of being eternal.
  13. But wasn't Bill always complaining that Democrats needed to fight like the Republicans do? Then when that happens he complains again. I've given up trying to understand what he wants, and apparently so has he.
  14. I can't stand Sheryl so I'm hoping they inflict some serious damage on each other. Michael Emerson seems to be having a wonderful time being Leland, and between the two of them I'm rooting for him.
  15. He's not only drinking with her, he's actually encouraging her to drink. And I'm sure he knows her history with her mother. I may be slow on the uptake, but I just realized that Brooke's 3 patients all embody some aspect of her and problems she needs to work on. Eladio - abandonment by mother; Colin - lying to oneself; Leila - dealing with inner fears and others' expectations. Well played, show!
  16. You do realize that all the attitudes on the show are producer-driven, don't you? HGTV is less about design than personality. As for the woman from Trading Spaces: I don't think it's being bitchy to expect that when you tell your designer you hate a certain color, they will refrain from using it. But again TPTB decided controversy was the way to go. Sic transit Reality TV.
  17. It's not just you! I think Brooke gets it, but she doesn't take it seriously. If something does happen to Laila by the season's end, there isn't going to be enough alcohol in LA to blunt Brooke's pain. I don't care for the sessions with Rita either. Lots of talk and angst leading nowhere.
  18. I can't believe this show was cancelled but not that crappy snoozefest known as The Resident. I really like Prodigal Son and hope they find another home!
  19. Maybe he takes after a grandparent. Maybe asshat-ery skips a generation.
  20. Yes! And I know she was using the flashlight feature on her phone, but maybe she took some pictures with it when Dylan had his back turned.
  21. I think the whole town is a black hole of misery, it's just that we're mostly involved with Mare. There's plenty wrong with the other families that can't be blamed on her.
  22. I wonder if he was given the J & J vaccine, as were the 8 Yankees who tested positive.
