  1. You're right Kody's curls do not come from scrunching. I have curly hair that can be scrunched with mousse to be curlier and it definitely does not produce unequally sized spirals. It's a perm or hair set on perm rollers. If his natural hair was spirals (my granddaughter's is) then you have to work remove the spirals. She does crazy head flipping and hair shaking to loosen and blend them. Kody's hair would have been reverting to spiral curls for the entire show if they were natural.
  2. So far they are showing up as scheduled on Youtube TV, but then I can't find them to watch, but they are on TLC GO which I can see free using the youtube tv login.
  3. I, too, hate the poorly fitting or worn out shoes on children. After I took the grandkids shoe shopping about four times, my daughter caught on. Alyssa is buying such inexpensive shoes, they may hurt even if they do fit properly. I hate to think of the kids trying to play in too large shoes.
  4. I'm having to watch on TLC Go. My terse summary is two selfish super jerks found each other and that was the end of "the fambly."
  5. He's gray at the roots many times. Just cut that mess off to a short length and spend all the hair time calling his kids.
  6. I hate heavy boots with dresses. I'm not a fan of kissing the boy while the girl hangs around their feet either.
  7. I can't imagine any of them are receiving SSI or SSDI. Possibly, possibly Janessa would qualify for SSI but then Jill would have to admit the child is not perfect. They would be guilty of educational neglect. That's the not providing a proper education.
  8. I would have thought Augustine too Catholic for them, but not their worst name by far.
  9. I really enjoy it every time Kody runs up against people he can't intimidate or control. He hasn't quite realized that all but three of his children are now legal adults, has he? I think that's part of Robyn's draw. She has the two younger children who are the only ones of his own children who don't openly express their discontent with him.
  10. Robyn or someone cleaned off some of the counterspace behind them. That big house and the only place they have to film is with a background of kitchen counters and cabinets? Robyn looks like she's going to be sick. Kody is being an arrogant bastard so no news from him.
  11. This warrants an oh good grief. Don't tell me they've fallen into the entitled grifting hole quite a few people their age have fallen into. I'm already worn out with the entitled brats begging for coffee, door dash, birthday, and whatever requests. This is now a get off my lawn for me. Do what most of the rest of us do: get a job, get a second job, find a cheaper alternative, or do without it.
  12. I think that's just some shelving or drawers they put under the TV. They do manage to do some weird things though.
  13. My post was lost that said Charles didn't build Highgrove House. He bought it. It was built in the 18th century, I believe.
  14. Being manipulative and controlling doesn't require vast intelligence. It seems to be an inbred feature. My most manipulative and controlling aunt is also the one least equipped intellectually. She's more sly or the old saying of crazy like a fox.
  15. Kody's description of having COVID and what we saw of him on the show don't match. He acted like he'd been near death yet we saw him driving Robyn to the hospital and waiting in the car for her with nothing that looked like he was super sick.
  16. Christine is related to Robyn's ex. It's perhaps something like second cousin. Christine at least when Kody married Robyn was still talking to that part of the family. Christine probably knows a lot more about Robyn than Kody would ever be comfortable about.
  17. Did Discovery + fix the glitch to get the episode streaming? Youtubetv hasn't.
  18. That's why my emphasis on what works for one person doesn't work for another. It's a fine product and the average person shouldn't be scared to use it appropriately.
  19. As my doctor and pharmacist said it's external, but a tiny bit is absorbed. I was putting it on one knuckle twice a day for just a few days and they both assured me I'd have to slather both hands or knees multiple times a day to get enough internally to cause *me* a problem. Caveat being we're all different and what is safe for one person is not for another.
  20. Today on tiktok Maddie said her name draw this year was Padon. So the non-Robyn kids seem to be continuing their traditions without concern over Robyn's issues.
  21. Yes, I know she did. I still think what the show put her in looks cheap. What she actually wore was fine and I liked the blue one also.
  22. A few years ago when I was tracking show numbers diligently, 700,000 to 750,000 viewers per primetime episode was their cutoff for renewal. Now with fewer TV viewers overall it would seem reasonable that their cutoff may be lower. SW seems to stay above a million viewers and some of the episodes this season have gotten good numbers for TLC.
  23. There's no need for a conspiracy theory here. TLC is a corporation with one thing in mind: making money. It's all a ratings game. As soon as any show on the network drops below a profitability margin, they're gone. They might also dump a show for egregious moral conduct if they get enough backlash from the public. The Duggars and Mama June faced that.
