  1. Some of the probiotics have as their possibly unstated purpose to help people "become regular." That is there is an intended laxative effect. I have to avoid those like crazy. To me they are instant digestive problems so yes it can happen. Combine that with stress and it's really bad.
  2. I think the doggies can smell it before they see it so they're on high alert as they approach. I used to fight that battle with mom's dog. We can only do our best and hope for the best.
  3. Awww one of her kids doesn't want to be "fixed?" I'm guessing it's Tim. She's been put on the back burner for wedding planning.
  4. Or Heidi asks to keep the bin and as Tim is saying goodbye, Heidi is refilling the bin to dump in the trash as soon as Jill's car is out of sight.
  5. There is a time to smile, nod, and take the advice "under advisement." Jim Bob apparently brought a lot of those moments. If asked if the task is completed, an honest response is I'm done with that. (Yep, I was done with it when you mentioned it.)
  6. I've seen hutches in kitchens where there was a blank wall and insufficient cabinet space, but they never block doors or windows and coordinate with the cabinets or furniture in the kitchen. I've never seen anyone move a hutch from its matching place in the dining room where there was room to make a mess of the kitchen except with Jill.
  7. I don't watch the show, but I love the titles this season. I'm not quite sure about the elephant in the room. Perhaps it's hypocrisy. Kody has lost his mind. What are the family members all dancing around?
  8. Right they're the ones held by a non-profit type organization or corporation. There are the Steve Anderson type places, but they rent a space and don't go for tax-exempt status because of oversight.
  9. That's an interesting question of if an individual or couple can own a church and have it remain a tax exempt entity. The churches I'm used to are owned by the religious organization or a non-profit organization.
  10. Jill loves to eat out and restaurant food is loaded with sodium. She also loves to serve the family pizza as their going out food. There's another sodium bomb. She should try a low sodium 500 mg a day for a week with 64 oz of water a day and see how she looks and feels.
  11. Actually they bought in a very small development with one approved house plan with about four or five options. Meri wanted the wet bar for family gatherings and I'm guessing their LIV presentations. To get the wetbar, she ended up with the extra room behind the garage I think it was. The size of the house was mostly pre-determined when they chose to buy in that development.
  12. Actually you can control the amount of food in a restaurant in many cases. First don't order something that you know is going to be a huge plate. If that's what you want, plan to share it with someone. A lot of places will do half orders or immediately box half the plate. I do it all the time.
  13. Do my eyes deceive me or are they going to have to shimmy around that tree every time they enter or leave that room?
  14. If Tony talks for more than about 3 minutes he can almost always find a way to make me gag.
  15. The kids weren't initially paid for being on the show and I'm not sure at what age they began receiving show money. It's appeared to be some time before they married so possibly early 20s or maybe they were smarter than the average reality kids and asked for payment at age 18. Zach has been accused of being tight with money so he may well have saved/invested quite a bit. They think they can make it without the show so hopefully they have run the numbers realistically.
  16. The amount of food was the first thing I noticed. That's indeed quite a lot for someone supposedly losing weight. That's close to enough for me for an entire day possibly more than I have some days. I'm considered a normal weight (BMI) for my height.
  17. I'm guessing Tori and Zach are there or almost there on the ending of show income so I guess we'll soon see if one of them takes paying work. Teaching soccer or kindergarten isn't going to maintain their recent standard of living with three children. Is it possible they've saved a lot more money than the viewers have guessed?
  18. If LPBW goes on past the upcoming season almost ready, we'll allegedly be down to the two 60ish aged couples. I can't see beyond one season of that if TLC bothers to even make a season of it.
  19. I especially love the part about the two selfish toads can see the results of the money so they know it's there and they can't touch it.
  20. Most of their married daughters don't seem to care about parental modesty standards any more after leaving home. They seem to set their own standards on a lot of things after marriage.
  21. UP ditched a filmed and edited seaon of Bates for a so far not disclosed reason. What I've read, TLC finished filming the most recent season of Little People this fall and is planning to air it, but haven't schedule it yet.
  22. From Jill's point of view this is perfect. It's free "education" and the church is even providing room and board.
  23. I doubt it. I wouldn't allow them in my pre-school classroom. It's simply another example of the non-parenting of the "precious baby" of the family. They seem to infantilize her to an extreme.
  24. Some TLC decisions do not appear logical on the surface. I do think post got slower during the pandemic though.
  25. What are the food items in the first photo? Those look like meagre portions for Ben.
