When I was younger I worked in quite a few galleries in NYC and I know tons of people who have as well both in NYC, L.A., etc and I've never heard of anyone having to open a gallery at 7AM the way Whitney does. Possible? Whatever. I have no idea what she sees in her loser boyfriend. More importantly having to put on a live sex show for some voyeur who can "get her" her very own gallery?! Again. Never heard of such a thing. WTF writers? Wasn't the voyeur supposed to be a very big deal collector? So how exactly would he "get her" a gallery? It makes no sense just like Whitney's fiance studying for his immediate US citizenship. At this point Furcat and Sasha are the same person in my mind. Trevor is getting the Huge Bitch edit. How original. The scene where Noah was actually going to plant the sex toys in Helen and Sasha's bedroom was ridiculous enough then it got even worse with that bra and then he got caught! I didn't think they could top last week's near fatal second hand shame karaoke scene but hello! Noah left that woman topless without a second thought. I guess his brain was fried after seeing his ex MIL vigorously penetrate a Fleshlight with a horse tail butt plug. It happens!

Once again they're annoying me with the wonky immigration disinfo. If Whitney's fiance is living here illegally it may not be smooth sailing to simply get married and study for the interview. Also they won't just hand him his citizenship the day of the interview ffs! That is years down the road and studying would be for that test not answering some random questions about where they met and what brand eye cream she wears. Can't the writers be bothered to just Google this at least? If not then just skip it! This is even more annoying than the bs with Louisa.

I really think they could have done so much more with this episode. This season finale. Also this season i thought those nutty writers were heading in a Dexter June direction. Ruthless June acquires a taste for offing anyone who gets in her way . Killbot June. Instead we got June Wick Jesus Christ Superstar. Is she dead? Will she rise from the dead load another 300 kids and Marthas and Handmaids on a plane again? Will there be a buddy road trip with Lawrence? Will we tune in to find out?

Wait I thought June told Lawrence she was planning to stay behind once again?!

Did I imagine Luke actually looking SHAMED by his wife's captor and rapist??? It kind of ruined the "finally" feelings I had during Serena's smackdowns.

This felt more like a mid season ep rather than a season ending one. A few things happened for sure but not enough.

He gave her a Plan B after "this is a collector's item" and June said how the punishment for practicing birth control is getting torn apart by a pack of dogs. Another ominous sign of how much trouble he could be in as well as how obvious it now is that the Lawrences have never performed The Ceremony before today and his whole household is in grave danger as well for not reporting it to the authorities. I'd love to learn more about his responsibility for creating Gilead. Did he make a book? Design a video game? Make a film? Could it have been something like that? It then got out of hand and became real?

Oh yes me too!!! I totally believed the show would actually go there.

This season Lawrence seems like a completely different person in each episode. Even though he wasn't on as much last season and was mysterious I still didnt experience this. From the very first time I saw his wife I thought that her mental illness was the only appropriate decent response to the world they lived in.

I think McKay would be a better match with Cassie's sister but I suspect her of being secretly in love with Rue.

I was SO worried that when Christine went into the room marked "Private" she'd find some hurtful deal breaker about Ken. I know he's too good to be true but I need him to stay that way and for the two of them to stay happy and together forever. Her facial expressions when the restaurant owner came over was GOLD! Man, I still can't get over how great an actor Louie Anderson is!

Ok what the fuck was that. All June all the time. You know what? They might as well allow her to walk around carrying a machine gun at this point. I have to say I liked the scene with the surgeon how he knew her Mom and how chilling that is. She was his colleague then got dumped in The Colonies. That sort of horror is what I want to see in this show.

This show hates me. On a deep, personal level.

I'm not sure what I was supposed to think about June's bizarre scowl/under his eye thing at the end (the execution) Also it really seemed to me that not only was June's behavior well past the suspicious mark but that it didn't even matter because EVERYONE THERE knew this was all about her and what she did.

So that poor Martha died horribly, not because she was trying to save an innocent child but because June wanted to pop in and freak out her daughter for a few minutes? For me, this was the worst ep to date. I think the writers are flailing. What a mess. The scene where the "two thieves" (as the writer of the linked article above perfectly calls them), walked through the ghoulishly abandoned home? This is what this show had to offer from the start. This has been going on since the dawn of time so why not explore this more? Why not present us with deeper more focused psychological exploration of this sort of thing? Which brings me to something that's been driving me nuts since I guess the middle of season two. Why aren't the victims of Gilead angrier?! Seriously. I don't mean the end stage beaten down victims or the ones in the colonies but we keep seeing scenes of survivors who sure have plenty of emotional damage but are physically ok. Tonight we saw the angry outburst that landed Moira and Emily in jail but I really don't understand. It's just not enough. This all happened during a relatively short period of time between social peers and suddenly they take your children and enslave you and abuse you. I'm not seeing enough outrage and elaboration, Glowering June and all that just isn't conveying the dialogue necessary about what's going on. Also I'm sick of not knowing what the bizarro deal with Lawrence is. It's like he's a completely different person in every episode now and I have no clue what his problem is. June told the doomed Martha that he'd get EVERYBODY out of Gilead!

Oh! I didn't realize that was the bad friend! She was really familiar to me but I thought it was because the actress was. She was so full of herself and condescending to Christine "maybe something in my kitchen will inspire you" etc I LOVED the quest for the right kitchen slogan. It was so serious!

Of course I want a woman showrunner for The Handmaid's Tale of all things! Why have we never seen Summer in Boston?

Oh Lord how I hate Penelope. It's not even a fun hate watch! I love how Ken and Christine are especially with each other. I loved how Christine is so AMAZED and appreciative about things like the tapenade etc that Ken assembled! WOW!!! HOW DID YOU DO THAT, KEN!?!?!?? I don't in general have a problem with parents who can afford to give/loan their adult child money for a down payment but Chip is an unemployed rodeo clown with a terrible attitude and life choices so am a bit concerned.

Nate is terrifying and I'm worried sick about everyone else. Having said that, I think the writers are adults who have no clue about the characters they're writing about so I feel unsafe, to paraphrase Jules. ETA did Nate rape Tyler?
