Uhtred's shoulder length hair bothers me so much. Thyra raising puppies then Kjarten killing them reminds me of the Unsullied from ASOIAF ASOS, I wonder if Cornwell borrowed that idea. I really enjoy this show, it's fun but so much time passes between episodes. In episode 5 Gisela and Uthred have two kids all of the sudden?

I really liked this. Great music. With the first episode and Joy division I thought maybe all the songs were going to be from people who committed suicide. There were some that fit that theory like Eliot Smith.. Hannah expected way too much of Clay and at the same time he gave her so much as a 16/17 year old. I wish every girl had a boy like him in high school. He was also really, too perfect especially during the monloging with Mr. Porter. I'm 20 yrs out of high school and did not have a hard time soo i don't know, but I did not think this glamourised suicide at all. It seemed horrible and painful and that Hannah really wanted to take it back immediately.

I screwed up with my roman numerals. I meant that Henry VIII had no heirs that had children, at least I think thats what I was trying to say but it's been awhile since my post. Also I meant the powers as presented in the series not IRL. IRL they had no magic powers.

I enjoyed this. Rachel Brosnahan was great and it's my favorite time period to romanticize. I even have that exact pyrex in my pyrex collection (it's a thing.) Midge is very much like every other ASP girl though, just so gosh darn great at everything and so much more clever than everyone else. That got old on GG especially, by the end I thought Lorelai was awful. Her girls are really self-centered and kind of assholes and mostly it's just other people telling them how wonderful they are and we never really see this wonderfulness. If any one questions this wonderfulness we're told to believe that person is so very wrong. I'll watch the first season for sure.

Dorit so much does want Erika's attention. She wants Erika to think she's a cool kid badly.

The commercials on an Amazon Prime show is really odd. I did enjoy this, it fills the project runway hole created once it went to Lifetime. Because I am from the Central Coast of California and surfed in my younger years I am VERY aware of O'Neill. So this Thaddeus guy was really stupid. Surf fasion already exists under that very name (plus a L) since the 50's. Such an odd point of view. Why was this guy given an opportunity at all? I think O'Neill would probably be able to sue to stop this guy's line. Anna Wintour: three strand necklace, sleeveless sheath or a line. Jenna Lyons: Ruiner of J. Crew, not the Tilly sweater.

Mickey is back to being horrible, or I guess back to normal because she's a selfish shit person. I would have told her to gtfo the house. Ugh Jenelle. The only reason she's still on Teen Mom getting that Teen Mom money is because Barbara has raised Jace for her. So all this Barb just wants money, I'm not filming with her threats are extra annoying and delusional. If Jace had gone to foster care and been adopted out Jenelle would not have all the opportunities and money she has now. Barbara's actions allowed her to continue on the show. She's a fucking idiot.

But this has been the timbre of the show since the beginning, how was this episode so different to you? I don't understand being so angry and outraged that the show has continued in the voice it's always had.

Ehh, it's not WOC (for the most part) fighting to take away my reproductive rights. Overall I liked the episode, it would have been really weird if this show did not comment directly on Trump's presidency and the shock about 65 million of us felt. They way they did it felt true to the show. It still feels unreal to me. America elected Donald Fucking Trump as President on purpose. Everyday his twitter nonsense makes it more surreal and that press conference yesterday? What the fuck? How is that man going to be our President? Even saying all that, my life will basically be unchanged with Trump, I still have no idea how it actually feels to be black in America.

With all these pregnancy anvils I'm starting to think Liza is going to hook up with Charles while they're both drunk or when she Josh get in a fight (We were on a break! thing) and get knocked up. She might even spend a season trying to figure out who the father is. Or is that way too obvious/tv sitcom cliche. Or am I last person to think this?

Kelly Bishop is amazing. I loved everything about her in this series. Overall she is the MVP of The Gilmore Girls all seasons. The Rory book was a little too much Jo and Little Women. I came into the Gilmore Girls a few seasons in. I initially liked Rory and Lorelai and I think the episode when Michel won the RV is when I finally had enough of Lorelai. The fact that at 50 she's still trying to get things from her looks and quirky personality. I just can't. It's embarrassing. I did relate to Lorelai being broken and lost after losing Richard. I have been emotionally a mess for the last 5 years since my Dad died. He and I weren't quite Lorelai/Rory thankfully, but so close and it makes me so sad that he is gone. (I just finally lost the 40lbs I gained from my despair, and that sounds so dramatic.) Also at the same time she's so self centered it probably wasn't even about Richard but the fact that she had feelings about Richard dying? The whole Rory pregnancy thing is dumb. She's done nothing with what she's been given and she's 32! Not a big deal, it's a normal age to have children, even to be on your second or more... The whole Berta/Gypsy thing was ridiculous. I cannot say it enough Lorelai's hair was horrible.

Really bad extensions. Also, I'm not sure why Lorelai didn't love the horrible musical. She loves shit like that. Overall I think Summer was weak.

In the spirit of all the fat jokes - Lauren Graham needs to cut about 5 inches off her hair. It's bad. I felt this in Winter but it became unbearable once we were in Summer.

Poppy! I loved Almost Royal. I don't know what to say about the election other then I woke up this morning with a giant zit and swollen glands from the stress. I feel so powerless and sad and I am one of those who probably won't really be all that effected by a republican led government. I also have a easy path to immigrate to Canada if I wanted. I guess I don't know what to expect, what are his policies? The news keeps interviewing people who claim that Trump didn't really mean all that crap. I hope we self correct in 2018 but the damage in the SCOTUS will be done. I can't picture Trump actually enjoying the scrutiny of being President. On Monday's show I learned more about Hillary in that 10 minute segment than during the entire campaign process. I was too young during her time in Arkansas.

The Lindsay/Paul story line is awful. She's turned into an unfunny cartoon.
