  1. I do like Jen F, possibly because of the contrast between her and some of the others in the cast. She's upbeat and does seem to have a genuine sense of humor. She has, however, she does seem to have been working overtime to grab a "housewife" slot though and doing her utmost to make herself popular and interesting. I'm still wondering why she wasn't given the title but remained "friend of". Perhaps not enough drama potential? Naturally, Marge has a gathering and the main topic of conversation is gossiping about the casemates she has in her sightline this season. The only other thing she brings up is what a good friend she is to Lexi...of course the story about her ex-friend divulging secrets putting Marge in a bad light would have nothing at all to do with her wanting to prove how wonderful and loyal she is. FTFY Is he perfect? Well, nobody is. He certainly seems to have some quirks. But...I'm guessing he has watched the entire series and poked around the net since becoming part of Teresa's story. He's probably seen the same things that many of us have seen in regard to Joe and Melissa. He's for sure more astute than T. Honestly, if it were me in that position I would no doubt be telling my spouse to wake up and cut out the people who have shown themselves to be duplicitous and always talking against them behind their back. Also, there have been leaked text communications between T, Luis, & the Gorgas which took place while filming was going on for this season which add a lot more flavor to the story. Ha! I was thinking the exact same thing! I even rewound to see if I had missed it.
  2. I agree in his case but overall I think the aging makeup has been some of the best! I hope it will be recognized at Emmy time. The same thing crossed my mind. I really hope it doesn't go in that direction though. I'm hoping it ends with her settling down and successfully taking over a premier late night slot with lots of reconciliations. I want the happy ending...
  3. Someone regifting the set they got at their shower in the 1970's. If Rachel has a genuine desire to adopt her stepson I really have no issue with it. I can even see where her not having any legal right could become potentially problematic should something happen to Bluto before the boy's 18th birthday. What I have issue with is making it a storyline with bullshit thrown in for dramatic effect. Her presence at the party wasn't completely out of order. Jennifer and Teresa supposedly have developed an off-screen friendship. Jennifer and her family were in the Bahamas recently and got together with the T's girls and their father. I suppose it is possible the kids get together from time to time and Audriana was at the party for her to hang out with away from the adults. I know I don't! Actually, aside from being a shit stirring, gossiper Marge really has no story line to speak of, does she? It appears her modus operandi for relevance has been to pick an adversary who is more interesting than herself. It seems like she's been trying to make Lexi happen for several seasons and I doubt many viewers are clamoring for more. The most interesting thing about that one is that wackadoo hybrid accent and even that got tired fast. As for Margaret's mom...the less I see of her and her tightened up features the better. I don't find her at all charming in any way. Nor do I have any interest in her little sartorially challenged yes man. I say replace the mean girl trifecta of Margaret/Jackie/Melissa with Jenn Fessler who seems to have a genuine sense of humor with a willingness and ability to have some fun outside of lobbing insults with the gossip brigade.
  4. All About the Real Housewives (blog, podcast, maybe both?) timelined leaked text exchanges between Teresa and the Gorgas during that period and outlined a story tilted very much against the Gorgas as far as what was supposed to have really been going on between them.
  5. As soon as I saw that dress I knew that was bullshit. Speaking of assholes, the shady camera people and editors saw fit to focus on the soiled butt of the Gorga's dog during their home scene. Speaking of the Gorgas, in the same scene they said Antonia's birthday was coming up and that she is getting her license but yet had Grandma pull up in the Porsche...gee, the cameras rolling couldn't have had anything to do with the timing could it? Did I hear correctly tonight that they claimed to not know the birth mother's whereabouts? Birth mom supposedly has some thoughts from behind bars...https://allaboutthetea.com/2023/04/07/rhonj-rachel-fudas-husband-exposed-by-his-felon-baby-mama/ Except Marge and company doing their best to keep them alive. It's interesting how so many of the others have to bring up the Teresa/Gorga discord even during their individual scenes proving that they don't have much of their own going on to produce interest. That's my opinion for the main reason behind it as well. I've heard that the guys get paid for appearing on this franchise. He has that new business that could probably benefit from the publicity of having it talked about while filming. Wonder if there are plans for other Husbands of New Jersey appearances again this year? If he gets pushed out he probably loses a bit of revenue. Yeah, I have to admit that her false bravado has become old and annoying, but there is something likable about her and her family. I can't say the same for the Fudas. I would be okay with Fesler being swapped for Rachel. At least she has a sense of humor.
  6. I somehow had completely erased that from my mind! I guess I needed a reminder that things could indeed be worse. Ummmmm, yeah, season 12...been there, done that and it's not exactly something to look back upon fondly. Just give it to We Ani this year. She could actually be a star with looks, talent, stage presence, etc. even though her regular speaking voice sets my teeth on edge.
  7. So many many features, it reminds me of the blind men describing an elephant.
  8. One of them (Danielle maybe?) did express some concern about the cast being in pajamas when Paul's family arrived so I got the impression that at least she was not previously made aware of the visit, but who knows. How about little Joey scoffing and ridiculing Bill having been asked right to his face during boy's night. Like a child! Naturally the other Y-chromosome yentas chimed in. I still think those cast additions to the bridal party were completely producer driven anyway. Wasn't there talk of her being on a weight loss drug? I saw an article yesterday about hair loss being associated with at least one of the drugs. I noticed how very thin her hair looked during one scene while she wore it up and was wondering if that was the reason. No wonder she had a wig or hair piece with her that was prominently displayed on a lampshade during one scene in the episode. I won't make any guesses about that but I do want to say that I don't get why Lexi keeps getting featured in episodes. Is she filling in as a housekeeper in return for being allowed to stay with them? What happened to the little woman who used to fill that role, the one who really seemed to enjoy the cameras? Whatever she has done to herself has not been to her benefit. She's looking really rough this season. The lips in the talking head clips are so inflated it appears she is having trouble speaking. There have been a couple of times the camera has caught her looking really harsh and much older also. As for the clothes? Everyone in this franchise suffers, some more than others, but none of them an be called a really sharp dresser.
  9. I am so sick and tired of every competition show overloaded with contestants who seem to feel their tales of life's woes entitles them to win over pure talent. It's always the same stories, single mother, family member or friend who has attempted or committed suicide, lost a parent...all my sympathy, but this is a singing competition in the end. I miss the Simon days when they were actually looking for a marketable singing star and performer. People who could fill big and important venues rather than state fair stages. I only watch to humor a family member who can't give it up yet...but I wish they would.
  10. I hope it is renewed. Wish it had received some more publicity here in the USA. HBO doesn't push some of its quality programming as much as it should. I want to see more of these messy, endearing characters.
  11. The only two who really didn't bother me were Alexia and Marisol, they are the Statler and Waldorf of the group. Porsha was okay. Whitney and Heather bringing what just happened not long ago in their franchise into this trip was beating a dead horse and only served to showcase their weaknesses. Giselle is a pain in the neck. Candiace is obnoxious. Leah is best left at her home in NYC and off the TV screen. Every aspect of the missing bottle bullshit seemed contrived and stupid from beginning to the end reveal. Phuket was wasted on the majority of this cast.
  12. I can't decide if it is lazy writing or writers who have no actual real life experience of how people in lower income brackets get by. There have been many logical solutions to the tuition issue already mentioned in the above posts and more in addition to those. Most of all I don't understand why is it necessary to keep each member of this family down with the exception of mating them off.
  13. https://twitter.com/beverlybroccoli/status/1648506648800169986?cxt=HHwWhMDUuYOE1uAtAAAA I think the reunion is taping tomorrow. I have watched the Melissa/Joe victim act for too many years. I hope to that Teresa comes prepared this time, not because she is a saint but because Melissa is no better.
  14. I think most reality shows are always going to draw heavily from a particular demographic. In addition to a handful of actual employed individuals with real professions there always seems to be an abundance of "entrepreneurs", "actors", "models", and self-employed people with vague resumes who don't have to worry about taking time the time off from paid jobs which is needed for filming/traveling, etc. with hopes of parlaying their 15 minutes into a reality show career of sorts bouncing from franchise to franchise.
  15. On all of the relationship shows I've seen him host! I have no idea why he and his wife were chosen for the job. They may have other talents but this isn't among them. At least Vanessa seems to have followed along or done some homework regarding the season while he comes off as though he just walks in and tries to wing it. I always got the feeling she felt she was doing him a favor by being with him. I wasn't swayed by the tears and attempts at victimhood. As petty as this may sound it gave me joy to see that sloppy bra strap when she was wearing the wedding gown during the ceremony. 100%. He and Bliss appear to be happy so good for them. It looks like the three married couples on the show have gotten together over the last year. No doubt they have compared notes on what they actually lived vs. what made the final edit. I have a feeling Zach had a whole lot more he could have unloaded during the reunion regarding the mean girl team.
  16. I'm guessing if someone in production were looking out for her or cared there could have been a brief cutaway while someone fixed it for her. I'd like to think the people behind the cameras were enjoying the messiness as much as I did. Yeah, I hope that Kwame is that special type of person who can go with the flow of what appears to be her domineering type of personality. I mean it's not that I think she's intrinsically bad or anything, just that she seems to have the type of personality which needs a particular type of partner to be together successfully. Good luck to them both.
  17. Not me! I doubt anyone forced her to join and sign a contract for this season. It's not like alcohol isn't a feature in every franchise! I wonder if her overall attitude might have been somewhat different if her buddy Tinsley hadn't pulled out of this season. If RHoNY is anything to gauge by she seems to do better when she has a buddy she is comfortable with, but even then in a one-on-one situation rather than a group.
  18. That and those brief scintillating scenes of her at home telling her husband what to do. I noticed that they seemed to be in different classes but I think Aer Lingus only offers Business Class seats. I wonder if it was in her contract or if she upgraded on her own dime. Unless I'm missing something Margaret is not owning anything and suggesting her former friend fabricated stories to make Margaret look bad. According to Melissa on WWHL it hinges on the friend being sour because she tried three times unsuccessfully to join the show, which interestingly Andy did not confirm. I've noticed that Teresa hasn't actually started anything this season and just keeps getting pulled in by the others looking for camera time. What I'm wondering is why Fessler, despite very obvious attempts, was not made an official "Housewife" and delegated to "friend of" status by the time the season aired. She knows how to stir the pot but without the vitriol Margaret has pickled herself in over the years since she joined the cast. If anything Fessler seems to be more entertaining than Rachel Fuda who for some reason made the cut.
  19. So glad this isn't available yet to binge watch because each episode needs time to digest. Who doesn't know broken people who were totally f'd up by their toxic and dysfunctional families during their formative years? Only one episode left...I hope these characters end up in a better place than where they started.
  20. Perhaps, but it seems like they've treated him like garbage since the beginning.
  21. I am really curious about the endgame for Greg in the series. Is he just there for laughs and to illustrate the intrinsic nastiness of the other characters (I.e. that "don't touch me" from Shiv on the boat in this episode) or will there be something substantial for him in the end?
  22. Now I'm wondering if he went to see his father's body on the chance the phone was there and he could grab it. This character is always ducking and weaving. One of the best TV episodes ever! It reminded me of the episode of The Good Wife when Alicia and Cary left to start their own firm. There was the potential for leaks coming from several sources, even emergency services or other airport related areas. Whoever is responsible for the casting of this show deserves rewards.
  23. Yes! This is good news. Hope it takes off. I miss these loons.
  24. How does one reach their 30's or 40's without knowing about importance of keeping properly hydrated under a variety of circumstances? Why would someone with potential leakage issues decide to forgo underwear? Just the heat and humidity alone in a location in Southeast Asia! Anything to absorb the inevitable perspiration. I don't doubt that she was feeling unwell but I can't help but believe there was some drama queen acting thrown in for good measure. I cannot fathom why someone decided to cast her on RHoNY and then this. She's never really shown herself to be a team player. Most of the self-centered characters across the franchises still do their thing within the context of a group situation. This one is that difficult child on the playground who demands all the attention but can't interact well with the other children. Please let us hear no more about that missing bottle! It would be enough to just watch these dumb-dumbs go into shops and restaurants in a foreign locale without throwing in the ridiculous attempts at drama for the sake of the cameras. They could do an entire episode having them just eat street food from the carts, not restaurants which could be mighty entertaining. Show them haggling with street vendors. Lots of opportunities there to deal with the locals. It's a different world than they are used to.
  25. Micah turned into Cicely Strong's drunk girl character in this episode. I initially thought Chelsea seemed to have it all together, but that opinion has been eroding as the episodes went on. For Kwame's sake I hope they split because it seems like he will be facing a life of reluctant acquiescence to keep any sense of piece in their union. Now she reminds me of a 30+ Tracy Flick.
