  1. Oh, I think Heather sees it just fine. Shady editors made sure to include her big eye roll when Jen left the table at the restaurant talking about ending it all. I'd like to see more of that legit Heather instead of the ride or die performances.
  2. If my life had just been threatened in a foreign country, where I don't know who I can trust? Screw my shitty job! I'm out of there! At this point why owe any allegiance to Tanya who treated her like a possession she owned expecting her to sit in her room 24/7 waiting to be called to attention, also didn't immediately spell out Jack's special relationship with Quentin knowing full well that Portia and Jack were also having a sexual relationship, and most importantly was the reason Portia was in a dangerous situation in the first place. Jack actually wound up showing more care for her by warning her off. I'd high tail it out of there too! I'd rather deal with the authorities questioning me after I was safely back home rather than stick around and take the risk of any further involvement with the people Jack warned her about.
  3. I'd consider that except for Jack purposefully keeping Portia away, things he revealed to her while drunk, and the warning he gave her when he dropped her off near the airport which all point toward something nefarious.
  4. Interesting thought. I wondered about the rope and tape. Suppose it could also be possible that they were planning to kidnap her for ransom using Niccolo as bait to make it easy when it went down somewhere outside of the palazzo or yacht associated with the high-end gay group. It's been said this this season was supposed to be like a bedroom farce and those are usually rife with misunderstandings gone wild. I have to say that I prefer a neat and tidy presentation and not one open to interpretation when I watch a show or read a book. I'm not pulling in a paycheck for creativity. I mean it was pretty pointed when she talked about the trainer's appearance and then showed the photo of her kids, at least one of which appearing to look more like that than her husband. I agree. The character was shown to be dumb but not entirely stupid. She was smart enough to heed Jack's advice and get straight to the airport too with the understanding that there was a very real threat involved. The new information just put the finishing pieces into a puzzle where the final picture was already clear.
  5. Jack and his actions pretty much confirmed that not only was there a plot of some kind but that it was serious and dangerous. Because that was the way he was going feel like he had finally evened the score with Cameron, not only for what he imagined happened with Harper but for all the relationships with other women that Cameron had ruined in the past. Tom Hollander is really good at that. He's done so much comedy in his career but he plays a great villain too. They are also two of the most despicable characters of this season. Totally self-involved schemers and users. I get the feeling that Mike White thinks that people who settle to continue a lifestyle deserve whatever they get. Like the new bride in season one. I thought he was going to be the only "good" person this season, like Quinn in season one. Nope! Just a dope. I guess the closest to being like Quinn in season two would be Isabella.
  6. This article delves more into that theory. I think it's a great speculation! https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/features/whoe-dies-white-lotus-episode-season-b2241758.html This kind of makes sense in terms of the first season. Armond, while entertaining, was kind of despicable from the get go. The same is true for Greg. I don't think this is the type of show that would go toward flat out tragedy so the person(s) dying would probably be someone with few redeeming qualities.
  7. Is Greta Gremlin acting up in these episodes so that they can be shown in court to back up some kind of defense based on the mental state of the defendant? I appreciate the shady editors showing Jen being attended to by glam squad immediately followed with shots of others taking care of themselves. Right there with you! This franchise went off the rails fast! Is there even one truly likable cast member?
  8. We don't hear very much about Meredith's businesses either. Maybe she's successful enough that she doesn't need to advertise via Bravo or have to share with them as a result? I do wonder if she came on the show primarily to promote Brooksie's fashions. Throw the shoulder play into the mix. When she's not swinging them she's holding them at strange and uncomfortable looking angles. I think they wouldn't be in any of these situations because they would probably not be hanging out or even know one another in real life. I doubt I think that ship began to sail during the first season reunion and has continued on it's way since then. That and I'm guessing that filming season three so quickly to get in on Jen's at the time anticipated trial didn't give them enough time to find new people to add to the cast under normal casting constraints.
  9. I liked the first season and the second season also but not quite as well as the first. I started to watch the third season when it first aired on AMC+ but found it was not holding my interest as much. I figured it was just due to me being preoccupied with something else. Nope! I finally watched the final season and found myself disappointed overall. It seemed like something changed overall. Script and acting maybe? I don't know. I thought it felt like most of the cast were just going through the motions to bring it to some resolution.
  10. I didn't notice Angie K's nose but at one point Angie H was in profile and it looked like her nose was manufactured in Whoville rather than nature. I wondered if she went to the same surgeon in Turkey who constructed Jennifer Aydin's nose on RHoNJ.
  11. The sockless part though...with formal wear...one of those looks that is going to look even more stupid when looking back at photos in the future. Overall I keep thinking Buster Poindexter when I looked at him Not sure you phrased this correctly, as it's the same God. But I know he was looking into converting to Judaism. That confused me. Alexa made it sound like her family wasn't very religious and made point of saying they are Israeli more so than Jewish in the religious sense. He wasn't religious either. Not sure why it would be necessary for him to formally convert. Nancy's brother was way over the top. Putting on a big show but ultimately he demonstrated a clear lack of respect for his sister by refusing to leave when she asked him and the rest of them to leave. She wears a swimsuit well? As for overall attractiveness I didn't see her being more so than anyone else there. Was it classless? Probably. Was I happy to see her do it? Hell, yeah!
  12. I mean, it's all pretty much exactly the same as the three season prior to this. Except perhaps that Josh Dallas has intensified his pained facial expressions probably to make up for those missing since Athena Karkanis is no longer there to provide those she could always be counted upon to display.
  13. There is a huge difference between a good villain and what is simply an unlikeable character. Unfortunately they went for the latter.
  14. Does anyone else roll their eyes each time one of the participants refers to their situation as and "experiment"? I'm sure it has to be at the request of production but it just sounds so ridiculous. I am right there with you on this! These two seem to have had the least amount of connection. Someone always has to accept or reject before the other even if it is a mutual decision. This way he gets the positive ego boost edit by her claiming to be ready to accept him. She gets the sympathy and good edit for being the one who is rejected. Plus they both got to participate from start to finish and walk away no worse for the wear. I think if Matt were a woman with the past experience of having had a cheating spouse who impregnated another person and behaved the way he does people would be more sympathetic to how the past is affecting them their behavior by making them suspicious and fearful it could happen again. If anything I think he probably could have participated in some good therapy to deal with that situation before attempting to find someone new. The longer she stays with him on the show the more motherlike she behaves and she even looks older. I hope these two don't go through with the wedding.
  15. I don't see an "ish" about it! She made it pretty clear that she wants a man who will be able to keep her in the lifestyle she believes she deserves...and it won't come cheap. I'm of the opinion that most people who put themselves on a show like this have at least one foot dipped I the narcissism pool but this guy is fully submerged and grew gills.
  16. Yeah. Considering how upbeat she was in that scene I'm also guessing that Cameron wasn't one of the other bodies referred to by Valentina...but then again, depending on how this plays out later in the series I suppose she could also have been happy to see him dead at that point. Definitely the winner and good enough that some of the rest of his obnoxious lines and behaviors could have been cut. The character is so oblivious to everything outside of herself that the only way she would not return is if she became one of the bodies.
  17. So that's got to be it now, right? I've been hate watching this since about half way through the first series. The best thing about season three was
  18. Kathy: It was my own fault. I built up expectations and when the reality differed I acted out and that is on me and I am so embarrassed by my own behavior. Kyle: I'm the one who always get blamed (continue crying for the remainder of the reunion).
  19. All I can think of when I see Jen in that hat outfit during her TH
  20. The main problem is that it's not coming about organically. Its all over the top and deliberate...and therefore comes across as being fake, because well.... She never really bothered me much during the first two seasons because I kind of viewed her as wallpaper but that has changed for me over the past few episodes. Now I find her insufferable. If she was legitimately abused I have sympathy for her and hope she gets whatever help she needs. The rest of her bullshit though does not get a pass from me.
  21. I think it was one of the best dubbing jobs I have ever seen/heard! Basically this is the Austrian/German version of Victoria...but I thought it was better overall. She had another 40 years or so that could be covered in additional series. I'd watch them. I'd lean toward the designer taking liberties. There were a few things that didn't seem accurate. The dress and cape she was wearing in the last episode for instance. There were also a couple of others I remember thinking didn't seem to jive with the time period.
  22. Meredith obviously doesn't expect much from Whitney...the way she asked if Whitney had prepared the board herself I expected to see something impressively displayed and then when the camera panned to it I burst out laughing.
  23. I have mixed feelings if the rumors that Diana is one and done are true. Good riddance to her but I kind of wish that Asher could stick around if only to entertain with his fashion choices. That bare chest and ruby slippers in this episode...I'll miss him. Lisa and Erika are cartoon characters.
  24. I can't shake the feeling that the cast got together and drew straws or something to decide who was going to be friends or not this season. It's seems very much a change partners and dance scenario right now. Lisa is sticking with the sobs minus the tears again this season. Her house looks like an uninviting waiting room, just as warm and welcoming as she comes across. It's kind of fun to watch Jen adamantly proclaim her innocence knowing how will eventually play out. Heather likes to hedge her bets though, doesn't she? Here's hoping that Meredith's delightful son remains away from filming more than a token episode this season. Something tells me there might be a "very special episode" in the future regarding his sexuality which she, as I recall, claims he has not yet declared one way or the other. Like The Terminator, I suspect he will be back. Seth and John, two of the least telegenic or interesting house husbands across the franchises.
