  1. I also thought it was odd that two contestants revealed their relatives the first night, and one did this week. I thought it would be everyone or no one. I'm with you, I prefer the big dramatic reveal at the end. When Brittany, Amara, and especially Louise end up getting called up to the stage by the "guesser" it will be anticlimactic.
  2. I appreciate the spoiler bars even if the answer is just a google click away. I have a feeling that everyone's identities will be known by next week at the latest lol, but having even the slightest element of surprise and mystery makes it more fun, at least for me. Speaking of which, at this point, as far as we know, 4 of the 10 remaining contestant's relatives have been figured out by at least one other person: Amara, Brittany, X, and of course Louise. With nothing to do all day but stare at that wall, along with other clues being dropped along the way, and sharing of info, I'm sure some of the more clever ones like Logan have figured out many more. What did LC say in the voting booth? That people think they know who her relative is but they're wrong? Someone was convinced she's Forest Whitaker's relative, was that who LC was referring to? Once that person said it, I couldn't unsee it. The strategy on this show is interesting. Even the initial introduction of revealing two truths and one lie has to be carefully considered. Some of them kind of bungled that part of it. If the show gets renewed I expect future contestants will be more circumspect. I'm loving this show so far!
  3. I suppose everyone still thinks mean, mean Taylor called Jasmine fat.
  4. I I wonder if there are recently imposed exceptions or extra hoops for BB to jump through in order to dispense a controlled substance, though (which Xanax is). My husband takes Norco for a chronic and degenerative musculoskeletal condition and in the last year or so things have gotten a lot more restrictive. Do contestants with ADHD who are prescribed Adderall get to take it while in the house?
  5. From what I could gather, Brittany either ratted out the Girls Girls alliance to Pooch, or told him he and Turner are the target of Ameerah/Jasmine. Maybe both Ameerah decided to "confront" Brittany but then instead of actually confronting her, she did a a weird and uncomfortable interrogation thing where she asked Brittany who she wanted out, Brittany said Pooch and Turner, then Ameerah kept repeating the question until Brittany said she didn't know, all this taking place with Ameerah basically cornering Brittany. So of course Ameerah and Jasmine now want Brittany out.
  6. It's just a humblebrag so they can remind everyone how pretty they are. "I'm so UNDERESTIMATED because people think I'm DUMB when I'm actually super smart as well as being, as everyone can see, extremely beautiful. And smart."
  7. I was wondering if Kate had plastic surgery as well as changing her name because as you said, how else would Sophie not recognize her after literally watching her and hearing her speak for days on end? If not, it's bad casting as Holly looks nothing like Kate. But then young James and young Tom look nothing like their present time selves either so IDK.
  8. Congratulations on your friend winning, @853fisher! One for the record books. I liked her a lot and hope she continues to do well. That must have been quite a Zoom party!
  9. It was such a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but wasn't Sophie with her husband at Kate's engagement party? If the above is true, either they're already split up by the wedding, or she's cheating on him with Kevin. Neither situation is ideal for a perfect Sophie-and-Kevin happy ending. But who else could it be? I doubt it would be some random woman he's hooking up with - why would they show that in a preview, like who cares, lol. Hardly gossip-worthy news. At least now we can finally rule out Madison as being Kevin's end game. (Unless Elliot is tragically killed by a drunk driver sometime after the kids 6th birthday party.)
  10. Yes, I found myself not feeling anything much for Edwina until she was so devastated and tearful after the botched almost-proposal. We haven't been shown much of her true personality yet. Like others have said, she behaves as though she's nothing more than a programmed "perfect wife" candidate. Do we even know how old she is? I'm assuming no more than 18, maybe younger. Edwina seems like a typical self-absorbed teenager in that she views Kate, a parental figure, as having no interior life or motivation of her own other than to protect, care for, and guide Edwina - which is why she's completely oblivious to any sparks between Kate and Anthony. As someone else mentioned, she's not aware of what we all know as the romance novel trope of arguing and initial dislike turning to passion, lol. I'm enjoying this season so much more than the first. More Bridgerton family scenes, for one thing, which makes sense with Anthony as the main character instead of Daphne. Plus, there's no distraction of the "who is Lady Whistledown" mystery. Is it me, or are Hyacinth and Frances never in a scene at the same time? I only counted seven sibs at the dining table. I honestly don't know which is which, lol.
  11. He'll probably demand back rent from the Cookout. 😂
  12. You could be exactly right. In a press photo for next week's episode, it looks like Romeo might be reciting the phrase for his Beware advantage. I haven't gone back to check but some redditors are saying that in episode 1 it's actually a voiceover of Maryanne reading the potato phrase off her advantage paper in that scene with Tori. I guess we'll find out soon enough, lol. But Romeo finding the 3rd Beware advantage would certainly give a nice symmetry to the F3. ETA: Maryanne's voiceover of the potato phrase is in the "first look" trailer, not episode 1. The same scene was shown in the intro to episode 1 with a different voiceover that sounds a lot like Tori's. Strange!
  13. I agree he'll get caught, in addition to what you mentioned (three men tied to them died within a week??), there isn't any reason to think they'll change their behavior or their sick dynamic. She'll keep finding men to flirt with/fuck/flaunt and he'll keep killing them. That's their kink, apparently. That's why I couldn't feel bad for any of them.
  14. Pretty sure neither Erika nor Tyler has been introduced yet. Erika worked in the lab, I think, not as an administrator George Schultz introduced Tyler, a student majoring in biology, to Holmes, which is how he ended up working there. Schultz didn't appear until the end of this week's episode. Erika Cheung started working at Theranos as a lab assistant in 2013. I think we're up to 2010 in the main story. Tyler and Erika's stories are more tied to the endgame and downfall of Theranos so they may not get much mention till the last few episodes. How many are there in this series, eight?
  15. He didn't, and now I'm wondering if that scene was recreated for the broadcast. I was curious how the three would explain the blood and mud and why they were gone so long, and they also didn't show the three who went on the boats telling their tribes what happened. No one seemed suspicious that they got an advantage. Loved that both tribes not only chose the triangles over the water, but that they both got it right. Last season there was debate on the forums about which was the better choice, and most, including Fishbach on RHAP, said the water was a better choice because it was a sure thing, so I was pleasantly surprised. Jenny rocks.
  16. Yes, they had to untie 20 knots to get their advantages. They didn't show them actually untying the knots because they focused on the "anoint each other with mud and fake blood" aspect but they all have the advantages so they obviously did untie them. Agree with Daniel looking like Albert Brooks. Glad his shoulder popped back in so quickly, hope it holds up. Yikes. Also agree that this was an enjoyable, well edited and balanced episode. No player who dominated the show with their own theme music. Lots of likable players are far. I didn't mind Zack going but would have preferred Tori. Tough situation for Jackson. I'm wondering - if he had disclosed his situation from the beginning, would he have been able to play and still take his meds? Are all medications disallowed or only psychiatric ones?
  17. Bummer. Ugh, why do I let myself get sucked into becoming invested in network shows. Fox and ABC are the worst. I still hold decades-long grudges against them, lol.
  18. Oh, you're right, she did say that. And at this point in the series, before she's gone all in on the fraud, etc., her social discomfort and lack of affect could as easily be attributed to neurodivergence as sociopathy. Sorry for the armchair diagnosis. I guess I'm predisposed to judge her harshly, lol, knowing the outcome of the story.
  19. It is super cringe, I agree. I recall employees did witness her spazzing out/headbanging when she thought she was alone, but yikes, a little of that goes a long way. Oh for sure. Sociopathic, even. She told Sunny in this episode that she "doesn't feel things" before she told him she loved him. And those scenes of her in front of the mirror, practicing smiling and nodding and feigning interest in others, which is textbook sociopath. Not to mention her utter disregard for her employees. They do say many CEOs are sociopathic. I guess some just are better at faking it than Holmes was.
  20. Her "I can't hug you because we have to social distance" this season and "Air hug" last season to every contestant upon exiting is so annoying and Chen-bottish. I don't recall her hugging evicted houseguests on a regular basis pre-pandemic, if at all. It sounds so phony every time she says it. Like she's happy to have an excuse not to touch them, lol.
  21. Agreed. I did my part in voting for Shanna and was hopeful, but realistically it was always going to be Carson, for the reasons you mentioned. He's witty, doesn't take himself seriously, has a good heart, and was assigned the role of chief narrator on the broadcast episodes. I sometimes tend to forget that there's a whole wide world of casual viewers beyond my bubble of primetime forums, reddit, and twitter. That's ok. I'll choose to believe that Shanna being named in the top 3 was enough to stick in Todrick's craw. I hope Cynthia took note as well
  22. A couple of weeks I spent a lot of time looking at cast photos and reading everyone's profiles so as to be prepared for the new season. I'm embarrassed to say it was evidently all for naught, as I have no idea who the people are you just mentioned, lol. It's actually about 3 days shorter.
  23. Not to mention housewarming classics like tin foil, bottled water, and a paper shredder!
  24. What scandal? There seem to be no shortage - most involving non-payment of people he's hired. He also was accused of misogynistic/transphobic remarks while he was on RPDR. If anyone is feeling petty (that would be me most of the time) or wanting a dose of schadenfreude, check out #Todrickexposedparty on Twitter. Yikes.
  25. Wow, that is momentous! Congrats, peach. Last night as soon as I saw Shanna was the ONE person to not get picked for veto I held my thumb on the FF button until the very end when she sat down with Julie. I was thinking afterwards that I *might* tune in to see C&C get put on the block next, voted out post haste, and realize how dumb they've been - but I'm pretty sure even that will be a let down, as on their way out the door they'll no doubt hug and thank and blow kisses to M&T. So I'm with you, the rest of this stupid season can fuck off. There is ultimately very little satisfaction to be had for a BB fan, lol.
