That does make a LOT more sense considering what what was so clearly telegraphed with back story and camera time during Hollywood Week. There weren't any surprises this week except Emily, and she bombed so badly they didn't have a choice, I guess. Plus, it's not like she got THAT much focus in Hollywood anyway, I don't recall even seeing her during group rounds. Super relieved that Shelby is gone and mildly relieved that Lee is there. Manny, meh. I wasn't really worried about Dalton but I'm happy to see it confirmed with the real spoilers. :)

I just watched again with closed captioning on. The father tells Anne his daughter was being harassed, and when Anne interrupts to ask, "she was touched?" the father replies no, it was verbal, but the teacher was saying "lewd" things to her. Which could still be a matter of interpretation, but it definitely implies the comments were sexual. When my son was in middle school there was a math teacher who would make inappropriate comments to the girls, asking them if they had changed their hair or if they were wearing makeup, saying things like, "oh, you're wearing a dress today! how pretty you look", etc. Nothing overtly "lewd" I suppose, but creepy nonetheless. Parents complained, but nothing was done until the administrators finally discovered he'd been changing test scores to give the "pretty girls" As. Then they fired his ass.

If you missed it, I did too. I was thinking they were Taylor's adoptive parents until at some point his bio mom came back into their lives and reclaimed custody. But then later in the episode she made the comment about being in a bad place and needing some time, which implies they had him only temporarily, but even then I wasn't sure if they were friends, relatives, or her parents. If they're her parents, it seems a little unusual that her mom would refer to Nate (is that his name?) by name instead of "Dad" or "your father". But who knows, lol. Just one more vague thing in a show full of murkiness and questions.

The "glorified barista" comment was addressed by Will. Sonny said no worries, since I called you a whiny-ass baby who wrote a mean-spirited article for attention and to hurt his mommy (I may be paraphrasing). Will said yeah but, the difference is what you said is true! It was actually kind of a cute moment. I didn't hate Will or GW today as much as I normally do. God, you're probably right. Curious to see how much alcohol she consumes before she realizes.

This is so shocking and so sad. I feel so sad for his wife, children, family and friends. It's tragic how so many comics/comedians who bring such joy and laughter to others have demons and dark places and ultimately lose the battle. RIP.

Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference between THAT mechanical delivery and his normal mechanical delivery, lol.

Well, I have to say I'm somewhat disappointed if the extent of Sami's plans to "destroy" Abigail consists of getting her fired from her lame-ass entry-level job as her mommy's assistant. The job that she never spends any time at anyway. It doesn't appear that Sami has any videos of Abby and EJ, since she just keeps pulling out that (somewhat tame) photo when she wants to show someone proof. I was really hoping that she somehow knew about the almost-sex in the hospital supply closet (which would be an indisputable reason for firing Abby) or the conference room mistress-begging, but I don't think she does. I hope I'm wrong. So now I'm thinking the only remaining scheme Sami has left in her arsenal for revenge is to bring back Chad in hopes of interfering with Abby and Ben's non-romance. Which, if that is the case, how lame is that? I don't know. I feel very underwhelmed. I was hoping for a lot more of Sami in scorched-earth mode. I thought Sami and Kayla both looked great. I love Sami's dress. Kayla is such a great legacy character and MBE is so wonderful, it's a shame they only trot her out once in a while for contrived plot-related reasons, like propping Jen, Abby, or Dannifer. She deserves way better. If only one of Jen, Hope, and Kayla could be given leading lady status - Jennifer is not the one I would choose. Not this version of Jennifer, that's for sure. Edited to add that I didn't even realize Will was interviewing Abby. I thought he was just chatting her up because he's so "concerned". Ugh, I really don't like feeling this way about Will Horton, since Wilson is one of the reasons I came back to Days after a long absence, but between the actor giving *nothing* and the character's continued misplaced loyalty, I'm done with him. Sonny deserves a LOT better.

My supremely unpopular opinion is that I adore ED's Kristen Blake Dimera and I'm super excited to have her back starting Monday. I'm decidedly LESS excited about who she'll be sharing scenes with for the foreseeable future. OF COURSE there is no storyline that he-who-shall-not-be-named doesn't HAVE to be inserted into. Ugh. But regardless, I will sit back at my table-for-one and enjoy Kristen's special brand of BSC while it lasts.

OMG, what nerve! Who in their right mind would believe anything they say NOW after they hyped this ridiculous fake-out nine ways to Sunday and back? Talk about back-pedaling, give me a break. I have to admit I was falling it for it hook, line, and sinker until the Abby scenes, when Sami popped out from the other room like some crazed serial killer. I did love what she was saying to Jen, though. "Congratulations, grandma!" LOL. I'm only sad that since Sami threw Abby over the stairs in EJ's fantasy, it probably won't happen for real. How stupid to spend an entire show on a fake-out. Kudos to anyone who suspected the truth. The fact that it occurred pre-May sweeps should have been the first clue. Well, now that THAT little distraction is out of the way, I guess the Show can devote the rest of the week to it's real priority and A-story, the trials and tribulations of Daniel Christ. Ugh.
