  1. The person running Azah's twitter seems to agree with you lol Speaking of Frenchie, this is funny
  2. I think the initial Teams setup worked as an advantage to some HGs but was a disadvantage to others. The Jokers were super loyal to each other to the point where they were pretty insular and didn't work on forming game relationships with other HGs. Having Frenchie as their leader didn't help, lol. The Jokers seemed to genuinely love the guy, and his spectacular rise and downfall probably did a number on their heads a bit. Didn't Azah spend the first couple of weeks mostly lying around in bed? She didn't seem to be able to reconcile her CO loyalties with her Joker loyalties to the point where she became paralyzed. I don't know for sure but I think she would have done better in a regular non-Teams divided season.
  3. What's depressing is that he would likely still be there, presiding over the toxic work environment he created, if not for his overreach in the wake of Alex's passing. Typical narcissistic behavior. They can't resist.
  4. Pretty sure that one was fake, lol.
  5. Now dammit, Karen's my first name....I will NOT be punished this way!!
  6. Wow, you weren't joking! The #kycomplains thread on twitter is pretty hilarious. He became an overnight meme, lol. Back in the ancient pre-internet days of yore I had a friend who would write (actual letters!) to companies, restaurants, etc, whenever she experienced the slightest bit of dissatisfaction or inconvenience because she said they would always send her some kind of coupon as an apology. She would wholeheartedly approve of #kycomplains, lol.
  7. The tweets and articles I saw all reference the same Heavy interview: https://heavy.com/entertainment/big-brother/derek-xiao-exit-interview/ Note the interviewer never said "cookout", she simply asked him about the "low-key alliance" he and Claire had sniffed out a couple of weeks earlier (that clip is also in the article - I'd never seen it in its entirety before). So yeah, even though he says he and Claire treated the "other" alliance as a joke and discounted it at the time, he's obviously figured it out since. I interpreted his remark about Hannah to mean he didn't think she was part of it at the time, not that he still thinks so. I think he totally knows by now. The only one I saw was the pro-Scooter Braun/anti-Taylor Swift tweet lol. What's the latest?
  8. Boy, does that sound lame. Will there be cash prizes? Or clues to spoilers? If not, who cares. Although as someone who is the opposite of a "junior, future, Survivor player", I guess I'm not the target audience for that anyway. Still, with the shortened season, faster pace, and "controversial twists" it seems kind of unnecessary. I just hope I can keep up as it is, lol. I am excited about the cast, though. Diverse, all ages, real-looking people with real occupations. Not a bartender or pharmaceutical rep in the bunch!
  9. Wow, I can't believe that rumor was correct. What would BB do if she "accidentally" won? I suppose the comp will be have to be some sort of endurance. What a shitty prize the "coin of destiny" turned out to be.
  10. There was speculation on reddit based on a comment by DF? Or Tiff? that Claire either couldn't play HOH, or due to having to keep her HOH anonymity, was instructed by production to throw the comp. That sounds pretty ridiculous if true, so it hopefully isn't, lol.
  11. Reddit has figured out the triple will be on September 16 because there's a two hour episode scheduled that night. Based on the date of the finale there would have to be two doubles or a triple, and the programming schedule indicates one triple. So the triple eviction will be the F7, F6, and F5 boots. Way to suck any remaining drama out of the end game, BB! Good job.
  12. The situation as of now seems to be that Ky is considering going along with Tiff/Hannah/sorta Azah to keep Derex but he doesn't want to go against SB so he wants to get SB's blessing to give Derex a sympathy vote and then Tiff/Derex/Hannah are supposed to pretend like Ky never knew about that plan. Tiff seems to want Derex to convince Azah to give him a sympathy vote too and that's how they'll get the votes, but I think it'd be a better play to just tell Azah the entire plan tbh. Azah is so far up X's butt that it's not gonna work either way, but maybe finally looping her into something after never including her would work some magic. Give me a break that Kyland wants SB's "blessing". How would she ever know he voted for Derex unless he told her? Is he just bullshitting Tiff and Hannah? Also if the CO were in agreement to vote out whoever and one of them wanted to give a "sympathy vote" they should say no. They should all equally be on the hook for the betrayal of their non-CO allies and not allow whoever makes the F2 to act innocent in a ploy to get the person's jury vote.
  13. I do too, big time. When I first read the descriptions of the characters I had to go back to my kindle and skim the first few chapters because none of them sounded familiar besides Frances and Masha. I thought, man, they have really changed this up! Turns out the main characters in the show are the same as the book, I just have a terrible memory, lol. I'll spoiler tag the answer to your goat question since it's book related. No plot spoilers.
  14. Sadly, Covid will stop her. I'd love to see it though. I have no doubt Julie has a soft spot for Derex. Ha, I was going to say she'll need a pole with a glove at the end to slap him with. Or a paper airplane. Seriously though, she'd better not let him off the hook.
  15. Maybe the 3rd-nominee punishment that he took in exchange for a veto he didn't need will come back to bite him in the butt. Taran seems to think it could but his explanations as to how involved scenarios that went over my head. Yet another reason why I'd suck at this game, lol.
  16. I've been watching CNN's History of the Sitcom. The latest episode was about freaks, nerds, outsiders, etc in sitcoms. I was excited to see F&G included, kind of unexpected since it wasn't a traditional 30 minute sitcom but more of a dramedy. I'm rewatching the series again on Hulu, it's been a good long while since I last saw it. I just finished episode 2, Beers and Weirs, one of my favorites. Loved everyone at the party getting drunk on fake beer, lol. Also loved Millie's piano rendition of Jesus is Just Alright with Me with Nick enthusiastically joining in. LC played a convincing drunk teenage girl, even though it was all placebo effect. Bill in the back room drinking the real beer while watching Dallas 😂. Ugh, everything about Cindy is insufferable, even in the early episodes where she doesn't do much except strut around annoyingly. I know right? A commentator on the CNN show mentioned how it's remained a timeless and perfect show perhaps because it was cut short before it had a chance to get stale. In retrospect I'm kind of glad it ended when it did although I was super mad at the time. Plus, with most streaming series nowadays being only 8-10 episodes, at 16 episodes F&G is like a two season series. Lots happened and the characters grew a bunch in just one season.
  17. I wasn't watching during that time, but what did you think about John Paul Lavosier's Philip? As a long time OLTL and Days fan who both hated Rex and remembered JKJ's teenage Philip fondly, I was appalled to learn JPL was cast in the role. Then I watched a YouTube clip and threw up a little in my mouth, lol. Was FF playing Mimi on the show during JPL's run? Ugh, those two..
  18. Loved the song playing over the end credits. Loyalty by Gabriels, in case anyone else was wondering.
  19. It's possible but kind of doubtful imo that either of them will have the $125 needed to play roulette. They both got $50 last week so would need to get $75 this week. My guess is that the tiers of winners will stay roughly the same, with one of the $75 winners (Tiff, X, Hannah) moving up to fill Brit's absence and one of the $50 (SB, Claire, Azah, Ky, Alyssa) moving up to the $75 tier. My guess is either T or X moves up to $100. It's hard to say who will move up among the bottom group, they all get either bad edits or non-edits on the show. Maybe Azah since she cried for Britini a bunch last night. Maybe they'll have some way to earn "BB bucks" in addition to the votes, or maybe the amounts will change next week, but if not, there's no way Claire will have enough to play either this week ($125) or next week ($250 I think) so I gave all my votes to Derek X last night. I hope to god @Nashville is right and he was just pretending to go along with X's "helpful" advice not to play this week. We could use a wall-yeller right about now, lol.
  20. With Derex as the backdoor. Good job, SB. Exact same noms as Ky. So much for running your own HOH. :( I know! DX should get $100 again. I hope he isn't overconfident enough to save his money for the coin toss. I'm thinking not that many will either have enough $$ to play or feel the need to play this week and that DX can win and take off Claire. She had (short) 1on1s with everyone last night. Before Ky got to her she wasn't going after Claire or Derex at all, she said she wanted to work with them. I'm not that optimistic lol. Noms are in a couple of hours and her monologue this morning indicates she's sticking with Ky's plan. Claire and Dx are probably happily sleeping in, thinking they're fine.
  21. I didn't notice it till the second episode. No plot spoilers but I'll tag it to be safe ..
  22. Don't let Tiffany hear that!
  23. The CO members want to keep their own non-CO allies/pawns as long as possible. Plus, they're closer to some than others. Ky stated a couple of times on last night's show that he wasn't about to nominate SB and he didn't want to nominate DX either since they're close. I'm not sure why or at what point the target shifted from Claire to Brit, but I'm assuming Tiffany had some influence. So once that was decided, and Alyssa won POV, Brit was the only option. I get the feeling that Derek F and Azah are at the bottom of the CO hierarchy, so the fact they're not happy about losing their own non-CO ally is less of a consideration for the rest of the CO. I'm not sure they know she's on the spectrum. I mean, to the average person who has a general idea (correctly or not) of what "on the spectrum" looks like, she doesn't come across that way.
  24. Yeah, SB has done herself no favors in this house by isolating herself with Kyland this whole time and letting him do the heavy lifting of trying to save her butt. I can sort of relate, since it's one of the many reasons I'd never make it on BB (as an introvert, I'd find one friend and spend all my time hanging out with them and pretty much shun everyone else) but still. You gotta try a little harder, even if it takes you out of your comfort zone.
