  1. I watch this with my teens and we're really enjoying it. They noticed an "orb" on the truck (which could've been a reflection but idk) and theorized it was Mr. Martin- and then I shouted that it was somehow Janet before the reveal. We, too, hope it gets renewed.
  2. I chuckled when the neighbor girl snapped her fingers at Joe and said, "where did you go?" when he started to go into a mental monologue. It reminded me of all of those videos that were going around of Joe interacting with people without the voice over and how weird it was. 😆
  3. My totally not spoiled and just guessing theory is that Allison is dead and she's in her heaven. Klaus and Luther jumped into someone else's bouncy house heaven and there were a lot of people there.
  4. Okay I was coming here to ask what the hell is up with this accent from Julia Garner but I see, I see. In that case, Julia did a great job. Lmao I'm literally 3:07 into the first episode and came immediately here. I honestly thought it was a CHOICE by Julia but I see that's actually how this person sounds. So weird.
  5. And then has the audacity to tell Carrie that they were BOTH dead, both of them "like zombies" -- no Miranda, that was just you. Also I actually appreciated seeing Steve wash his hands! That's really thoughtful and you should care what's on your partners hands before they stick them down your pants.
  6. Marc Cherry also created Desperate Housewives and there was also a married woman sleeping with an actual teenager on that show. So... all I'm saying is, what is going on with Marc Cherry and why does he think this is appropriate?
  7. This season was so good. There is so much heart and silliness.
  8. Season 2 is supposed to feature a new love story and follow William Jackson Harper (Chidi from The Good Place) and supposedly, Darby will still be around since it's in the same world. Anyway, I was here when I saw the main character was played by William Jackson Harper. I'm in. Lol
  9. I actually thought something similar! When Kate was wearing that pretty Christmas dress and makeup, I thought, "did he buy that for her? And if so, how did he explain to the clerk in the small town that he's buying clothes for a female?" But the town can't be that small because the boyfriend didn't know nerdy Jeanette (or acted like he didn't know) but in a small town, you know everyone, even if you aren't in the same circles. So idk.
  10. I liked the ending. It might be because I'm 2 days away from my period but I bawled like a baby. I love a happy ending. The only thing that made me sad was that Darby and Sara aren't close anymore and I was kind of interested in Angelo and how they met. Since I love love stories, I'll watch season 2.
  11. That baby doll that Vision was practicing changing diapers on was a Kitty Karry All doll that was featured in an episode of the Brady Bunch where Cindy loses her.
  12. I made the comment (to my child) that, during the wedding, Stacy and Claudia are so so extra. But Stacy did make the comment at one point (after Christmas break) that she needed babysitting jobs because she spent so much money on boots. So maybe they spend their babysitting money on fashion. I actually really love that they recycled outfits. Stacy wore the pink polka dot shirt in, at least, two separate episodes and Claudia wore the white flower shirt in at least two different episodes. I love all the updates. I like all the girls. Stacy was my favorite in the books but I'm not sure who my favorite is now. They're all so cute and their own character. And there wasn't anyone who I was looking forward to getting back to. I was excited about the Sea City episode and laughed out loud when Mary Anne said, "that MAN is too old for you. He's 17!" Or something like that. But I thought MA and Stacy did a bit more sight seeing on their day off in the books and I remember loving them going out by themselves (so mature!). 😆 or is there a different book where two girls go and they are able to get away a bit? I do agree that the show should've explained more why Kristy wasn't excited about moving - because he lived so far away. Edited to say, I did some research and I'm probably thinking of SS #10. Sea City Here We Come!
  13. I finished it and omg. I wondered how they were going to wrap everything up (even up to episode 4 and 5) and I'll say that I was completely satisfied with the ending. It was so good and I cried.
  14. I think it's interesting that Andrew will be speaking Chinese on the phone and when Molly walks in, he switches to English and gets off the phone. That's happened in three episodes, including this one.
  15. I saw this movie tonight and actually enjoyed it for what it was. I enjoyed it more than the other Terminator movies of recent years. I don't even remember which ones were which - there was a Christian Bale one and an Emilia Clarke one. I don't really remember what happened in those. I was a huge fan of TSCC (never forget) and will never not be mad at Fox for cancelling it. Seriously. I haven't started a new show on Fox since then. I loved the new Terminator and I thought Linda Hamilton was great. I also appreciate how she looks her age. She looks amazing. That being said, I agree with others that the story was predictable (my husband called it, "formulaic") and the Big Reveal was very anticlimactic. I wasn't feeling the character of Grace and while I liked Dani, I didn't really see anything that made me believe that she was capable of starting and leading a resistance. I know she had big talking moments but I didn't necessarily believe her (lol). Overall, though, I enjoyed it. It felt like a real Terminator movie and I don't regret going to see it in theaters.
  16. I really enjoyed this show! It was interesting to see a different aspect of how music is created. I wasn't surprised John picked the We Need Love song but it was cheesy. I loved Ollie's song much better and even added it to my spotify playlist. Ryan Tedder definitely changed that song a lot! My daughter and I looked at each other and both laughed and said that he turned it into a totally different song. I'm excited to see the other episodes.
  17. Billy is so annoying. "I want Frank to hurt. I want him to feel pain for what he did to me!" Or whatever bullshit he said. Frank does hurt, Billy. He lives in constant pain and agony over his entire family being murdered in front of him, orchestrated by someone he considered to be his brother. All that trumps those scars on your face. The fact that Billy and the therapist justify Billy's evil behavior with, "but Frank isn't any better, just because his wife and children were murdered in front of him!" causes me not to take them seriously at all and annoy me. That therapist is doing some serious mental leaping if she can't understand why Frank would feel the way he does but also to downplay it to make Billy seem better.
  18. But why am I so amused that only HALF of Netflix users could find Infinity War? Was that on purpose? Either way, it's not lost on me. Maybe it was Thanos fault.
  19. My closed captions show they're saying, "Shirl". Also, our reaction was so big, we woke up our child. Lol!
  20. Stop calling him Warren! His name's not fucking Warren! Sorry, I had too. I have a super good memory of D list actors from the 90s. I told my husband, "hey look! It's 'his name isn't fucking Warren' from Empire Records and he was also in the weirdest 90 movie, Welcome to the Dollhouse..." which lead to my husband blankly looking at me.
  21. The baby doesn't know the difference. I don't see anyone normalizing the situation. The baby doesn't know she wasn't adopted or understand the situation for what it is. There was an actual kidnapped baby who was taken from the hospital and they found her alive living with her kidnapper when she was 18. She has full parental affection for her kidnapper who she considered to be her mother. The point is, people in this thread keep saying that the baby wants her real mother or that the baby knows SJ isn't her real mother. In the real world, the baby would have no idea - except perhaps by smell. In the context of the baby crying, babies who have been adopted (or otherwise not with their bio mother) are able to be soothed.
  22. I found myself ROOTING for Bushmaster. I didn't want him to die. I wanted him to win. LOL, I was also shipping Tilda and him. So here we are now -- with me wondering if Bushmaster is coming back so he can get together with Tilda. At the end with Luke, though, I thought, "Hmm... You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Especially with him sending Claire home.
  23. Claire is great at stepping in where it's not her place. It's really none of her business whether or not Luke forgives his father and her pressing it so much was so uncalled for. I love Rosario Dawson but Claire is too much with this. I love Misty and Colleen together.
  24. I'm still in the middle of the episode (although I'm spoiled that she doesn't take him up on his offer) but I wonder if there wasn't a baby involved, if Serena would've been more likely to take him up on his offer.
  25. Yes! That's what I thought of too. I also thought of that orphanage where the caretakers weren't holding the babies, they were doing the bare minimum to keep them alive and the babies were dying. I do agree that the magical transformation overnight is unbelievable but I'm willing to let that one slide for the sake of being in a tv show.
