  1. I've always wanted to go to SDCC but I'd probably go postal with all the people. I can't even deal with Malls during Christmas.
  2. I don't know where to put this CL was at a Con in Chile today. Here's a little tidbit. Http://twitter.com/caitylotzarmy/status/472868155480879104 Apparently she can't talk about S3 because it's a secret. Given the fact that she's listed in the Upfronts Press Release I'm thinking it's a given that she's a S3 Regular and I'm betting (sadly) that she comes back as White or Jade Canary.
  3. I never liked Audrey or Jack/Audrey so please let the be the end of it. I really like this shortened format it's much tighter and seems fairly straight forward. Although, I can't help looking for a mole at CTU...I mean CIA. Got a wee bit nostalgic when Chloe told Kate to open a Socket. ..pretty sure that was part of the old drinking game.
  4. But that's not what happened in 213. Felicity had set up monitoring on a QC account which definitely falls into her purview. This was the same account she had been tracking since S1 when Walter had her looking into things. When she got the alert that money had been moved she went to Walter. When Walter blew her off she continued investing all of which was in her scope, the CEO should know what QC accounts are being used for. As CEO Oliver is responsible for the company and it's a publicly traded company which means they're accountable to shareholders and the Federal Government. What if the money being used wasn't to hide Thea's paternity but was being embezzled or used to fund another secret project? All of Felicity investigation was well within her scope as Oliver's partner in both QC and Arrow business. Now telling Oliver might be questioned but again she's loyal to Oliver, not Moira or Thea. However the idea that she was wrong to investigate is just IMO totally wrong it was a QC account she had every right to track it.
  5. Stephen Amell Phoenix ComicCon June 5-8 (only on the Saturday) https://phoenixcomicon.com/guests/1118
  6. It doesn't air on BBC America? I used to watch L&O:UK on BBCA a few years back, it took forever to get used to seeing Lee Adama/Apollo with a British accent...although it wasn't even his real accent.
  7. Except the people on the list weren't people that were potentially dangerous or people that Robert had affairs with and might hold personal grudges. The people on the list were people who had done legitimately bad/illegal things in Starling City, stuff that was directly/indirectly tied to The Undertaking (IIRC). So Isabel being on The List and having that totally dropped is (to me) a sign of one of the big issues with Arrow S2. It's like in 2.05 when Sara asks about Slade...the question implies that she doesn't hate or fear Slade or that she took part in a mission to kill Slade (thus leading to her second death). The back half totally dropped so much of what was set up in the first 9 episodes that I can't help but think they changed plans.
  8. I found it utterly stupid that they had Slade give Oliver the Shado Dragon tattoo. I always said the Tats were a clear indication he was off the island at some point.\ That's totally on the EPs they knew the name was in the list they were even questioned about it in early S2 when it was announced that Summer Glau was cast to play the character. They even said it wasn't forgotten and it would be addressed and then it got ignored...like so much other stuff in S2.
  9. It's in the video, it's from 2.13 when they're at his mother's campaign, he say's Felicity as she's walking away and then goes "Fe.Li.Ci.Ty" as he's catching up to her, it's actually quite amusing.
  10. One was when he told Diggle that he got a message from his father that explained what The List was, the other was the fact that he rose to a rank of Captain in the Bratva and had actual contacts in the Russian Mob.
  11. Aren't both of those already filled by current Team Members?Felicity serves as both heart and conscience Diggle serves as both conscience and wise mentor/sage. Roy pretty much serves as the upstart/sidekick/trainee, through his experiences will get to learn more about Oliver as trainee (reflection), Oliver as mentor, and Diggle as Sage Sara served as equal/partner reflection of Oliver.
  12. Laurel was in 10, she was missing from 6, 8 and 15
  13. MG co-wrote 1, 3, 7 ,12, 18 & 23 AK co-wrote 1, 4, 8, 19 & 23 Ben Sokolowski co-wrote 2, 6, 15 & 22 Beth Schwartz co-wrote 2, 6, 11, 14 & 20 Keto Shimizu co-wrote 3, 10, 16 & 19 Wendy Mericle co- wrote 4, 11, 14 & 20 Jake Coburn co-wrote 5, 10, 13, 15 & 22 Drew Z. Greenberg co-wrote 5, 7, 12 & 18 Geoff Johns co-wrote 8 & 9 Brian Q Miller co-wrote 16 Holly Harold wrote 21 Mark Bemesderfer & A.C. Bradley co-wrote 17. So let's see if we can find a pattern, anything stand out? http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Arrow_episodes
  14. Which writers? All of them? The last 8 episodes were written by 8 different writing partners, including a few DC comic writers like Geoff Johns and even BQM (Smallville) writer. Now, I can buy one writer having an issue, Tim Minear was vocal about not being able to write for Cordy. There was a Buffy writer who hated Spike so whenever he wrote an episode Spike was totally different then the episode before/after. There's a writer who was on SPN that always ignored canon and wrote Dean as a complete idiot. So, I can totally buy one writer constantly messing the same character up but I have a hard time buying every writer in that writing room doesn't get/like the character, including the EPs. BTW I'm not saying it's 100% KCs fault but I can't say it's 100% on the writers, directors, etc.
  15. They have a tight shooting schedule so they have limited options, for all we know the scenes that we've seen are her best takes. Directors can't make an actor act better and they can't re-write scripts to play to an actors ability. If there's directing or writing issues in an entire episode then by all means chalk it up to the writer, director, etc but if everything else is good or even praise worthy then the failure is obvious (IMO). That's like when people blame the writing and all I can think is, everyone in the writing room somehow sucks at writing Laurel?
  16. Sakura - Word to your entire post! That's pretty much what pisses me off, the show has demonstrated repeatedly that Laurel is no match for anyone with actual training but Laurel/KC fans and even KC herself keeps claiming that Laurel has training.
  17. She's not trained and I really call BS on the Laurel/KC fans who keep saying she's got massive training the show has never indicated that, in fact they've repeatedly shown that when going up against someone with training she fails.
  18. Not sure where to put this but figured I'd drop it in here. http://lemonsandblueberries.tumblr.com/post/86863383431/katie-cassidy-at-motor-city-comic-con She could probably just be joking but with all the talk (here) about Contracts it made me wonder if she's putting herself out there now because her contract is up for renewal?
  19. If you're right that means they put a lot of thought and planning into setting up the fake out and this is kind of supported by the fact that MG made a comment about Olicity in the finale qay back in January (the surprise, confound and irritate comment). We knew from another MG comment that Oliver/Sara was being setup as a roadblock to Olicity, so this can also support the fakeout setup. I wonder then if 214 actually serves a greater good regarding Felicity's character in light of her role in the finale?
  20. Dean isn't possessed by a Demon, he became a demon because of the MoC. He, like Cain is special/different breed of demon.
  21. Yay, so happy about Mark Sheppard and Crowley, I hope this means S10 will play out like I envision, I can't believe how excited I am for S10, the finale was great and breathed new life into the series.
  22. I mentioned this elsewhere but I think part of Felicity's S3 storyline is going to be tied to Roy's amnesia plot. She's the one that chose to lie to him about what happened. EBR said in an interview that she wants Felicity to make mistakes and learn from them, I think she might have been referring to this storyline.
  23. I strongly disagree on tying Arrow into the DCCU. I also think getting Nightwing or Harley on this show is pretty much impossible with Gotham coming on the air in the Fall. But I strongly agree with #9 and wouldn't be opposed to Ra's appearing.
