  1. So far it's just a rumor, in the comics Oliver already has 2 characters that fill the felicity role. I have no idea if or how she'll be included but there is talk that Jeff Lemiere is interested. Jeff Lemiere is also planning Moira flashbacks and bringing Tommy into the story (he's not dead in the comics).
  2. This is just a rumor but apparently there is talk going around the comicbook community, that Jeff Lemiere (current writer of Green Arrow 52 Title) is planning on bringing Felicity into the Title. Diggle has been slowly integrated and it looks like he's going to play a big part in the next story arc. The big problem is Naomi and Fyffe, they essentially do what Felicity does on the show, so Felicity isn't really needed on Team GA unless one or both die or leave the team. So I really don't know if it's true or just talk, but it would be interesting to see how much influence Arrow has on the comics.
  3. Pretty sure Andrea on The Walking Dead was a direct result of fan hatred although that's never been confirmed. That also is a direct deviation from canon, as Andrea is a major character that's still alive in the comics and I'm pretty sure the show just moved Michone into Andrea's spot as they're building up Rick/Michone on the show but the comics went Rick/Andrea.
  4. I'm being lazy, just C&P my post from TWOP I'm not invested in the werewolf story-line other than to figure out Klaus' true intentions/motivations...which seems to be to make the Werewolves more powerful...perhaps a new family to replace the one that abandoned him? I can't help but feel that his actions are directly related to the knowledge that Bex brought Mikael to town back in the 1900s. I forgot to ask, have the rules for Werewolves changed? I only watch Vampire Diaries occasionally so I've missed a bunch of stuff but I thought Werewolves were heredity traits but you didn't turn unless you killed someone. Are all those werewolves coming to visit Queen Haley actual werewolves or just raised in the family/pack but haven't killed? I'm really digging Genevieve's storyline as well, I find her really interesting and love her scenes with Klaus, two master manipulator's trying to play each other, it's highly entertaining to watch. I'm curious as to how Elijah's character arc is playing out, I'm a huge fan of symmetry and I'm curious to see if they're going to have Elijah go dark while Klaus becomes more Nobel/heroic. It's a nice play on the two brothers and the roles they play, how entwined they are and how much each impact's the other. IMO the best part of the series is the sibling relationship and how the feed into each other's issues.
  5. I liked it, I'm glad they left the door open that the real Gabriel might be alive somewhere. I loved how the actor played Gabriel, at first he came across as Gabriel/Trickster but as he was on screen he slowly started to sound off to the point that I (sadly) realized it wasn't real. I also really enjoy Tahmoh Penikett's performance as Gadreel, he's much better in the role than JP. I like all the layers we're getting with Gadreel now. It was obvious in the Dean/Gadreel scene that at least part it was self motivated, not only did he want to die but he was it was his own fear of being left alone that he was projecting onto Dean. I also found the talk at the end between Gadreel/Metatron to be really interesting, I kept waiting for one of them to betray the other. I'm still not really feeling Castiel's story this season, I just don't care that much about the Angels but I liked his interaction with both Sam and Dean, especially the end scene where he figured out the Mark of Cain.
  6. I should know this, they gave Dinah'so backstory in BoP #25. I want to say they're close in age, both in the mid to late 20s. Dinah's husband Kurt, is comatosed but she certainly does love him.
  7. Yeah that's why I don't think it's Walter. Walter would have more of an impact on the audience than Raisa but Raisa would be more of an emotional hit to Oliver than Walter. I agree with BkWurm, both Raisa and Walter are pretty much cop outs, it allows them to kill a character but not really impact anything. Of course these are the same guys who killed Tommy last season so it's not like they're afraid to make a big sacrifice. However out of all the Main Characters left the only ones that I could see being killed off are the ones I like the most...just like Tommy. So if it's a choice between Walter, Raisa or a character I love...I say go with the cop out. :D Of course the truly funny thing would be if no one (aside from bad guys) were to die this season. I don't know why shows and fans feel the need to kill off a character every season just to be edgy or daring. Canadagraphs apparently confirmed that someone on Arrow dies, he wouldn't say who so it could be Moira, could be Raisa or another Red Shirt.
  8. Some people are speculating that it's Walter, since we know Colin Salmon flew back and filmed a scene for episode 21. However, I don't think that has that much more of an impact than Raisa. I know that both Raisa and Walter being back in 20/21 kind of supports the idea that Moira is the one that bites it but ST taking the picture with the cast in 23 might mean Moira is still alive, unless it's a flashback or something.
  9. Oh crap, I just had a horrible idea...Raisa's a Red Shirt....she comes back in 20 and in 21 Oliver wants to surrender to stop further blood shed?! There's a selfie that the cast took during filming of 2.23 it has Moira in it, it's possible that she's still alive, unless she's filming a flashback scene.
  10. SA mentioned at a con that 21-23 take place over the course of single day. We know that 22 has Team Arrow (Oliver, Diggle and Felicity) running up hills and shooting on a bridge together. We also know from a James Bamber tweet that Oliver/Felicity have a stunt together in 23 that they were practicing, it involves the two of them together on a zipline.

  12. They kind of retcon'd that in Year One with Oliver being betrayed by a close friend and ending up on The Island run by China White and learns to be a hero. They've also done some traumatic background in the New 52, ...I know there is spoiler in the title but this just happened 2 issues ago so I figured I'd be a little extra cautious. I don't know if it's Arrow moving towards 52 or 52 moving towards Arrow but the characters are very similar, although 52 Arrow is still a little lighter and has more of a "fuck it" attitude. Arrow's Oliver seems more the mopey, tortured/tragic brooding hero...that I generally don't enjoy. Probably why I love Felicity so much, she adds a much needed spark/comedic tone to the Arrow Lair.

  14. They talked about Roy eventually using the code name Arsenal, when pimping out Birds of Prey and the "inside joke" of Roy hating being called Speedy. Although, this brings up a good point, if the producer saying Roy will eventually be called Arsenal is a clear sign that he's out of the Deadpool (heh) shouldn't the producers talking about their plans for a S3 episode centered around Black Canary, Huntress and Felicity mean that Sara's making it to S3?
  15. I've seen several comments that both Moira and Quentin made the exact same comment in the same episode. So, shouldn't it be a death anvil for Thea or Sara? Or perhaps a Death Anvil for either Quentin/Moira? The thing I always ask myself, if you took the producers comments and the comics out of the picture what is the story being told? What path are Laurel and Sara on "in the show"? I know people will argue that you can't toss out the source material but the show doesn't really follow the "source" everything they do has a twist to it. I think people focus too much on the comics and come up with all these theories as to how the show will force existing characters to fit that mold. Like all the theories that Felicity is going to end up in a wheelchair b/c she fills the Oracle role...therefor she has to end up paralyzed. Or my personal favorite, there was no question that Shado would end up EVOL and rape Oliver...because that's what happened in the comics....dun dun dun. As for Roy...given how easily they side-lined him in the show, in some weird attempt to get to the "breakup' in 18, I could see them killing Roy in 23...it certainly would add more angst/pain to Oliver. Damn you're putting her on the death list...you freaking called Tommy last season...not happy :(
  16. According to the predictive text on my phone, yes. LOL
  17. Honestly that clip is a little unfair, it's from later on in the season where she actually improved, if you go back to her first 2 appearances on SPN she was pretty bad..it was like she decided to play Ruby by watching Meg and amplifying the bitchy. Her first 2 scenes with Sam and the one with Bobby were (IMO) really one bad. I remember my reaction after the introduction of the girls being. Well Bela sucks as a character but at least the actress can act (Lauren Cochran). Ruby on the other hand is an interesting character played by a sucky actress. I do give KC credit she got better but I don't think the OMG Ruby 1.0 really hit fandom until we were presented with Ruby 2.0...KC is freaking Dame Judy Dench when compared to Genevieve. I've gotten to the point that I'm so tired of the argument that I just call KC a crappie actor but the reality is she's a limited actor. Let her play bitchy, snarky and she's fine, but that's not Laurel and that's where the problem comes in, IMO.
  18. Apparently, Guggenheim has tweeted out that Isabel is not Slade's daughter (never thought she was). So Ravager will have a unique origin on the show and Isabel Rochev will go in a different direction as well (from her comic counter part). Of course that assumes Guggenheim isn't lying.
  19. Read a few Batman novels or just Google it, there's a reason he doesn't kill and it's a really important reason that is inherent to the character. How deep you want to take that is probably up to the individual reader but Batman doesn't kill is ingrained in the character and it's an important part of the character. Yes there have been various writers who've had him kill only later to have another writer retcon that death in order to keep to the rule but retcons count too. Not even close

  21. I really don't like what they did with Bella and Drake and I hate the idea of Drake getting together with Rose.

  23. Was just going to post the link. Mostly the lair stuff, nothing from Star Labs. This is thread designed specifically for Spoiller and Spoiler discussion there's no need to use Spoiler bars inside the thread as there's a warning in the thread title.
  24. I want to say I read an interview one of the producers gave where they made the same statement, she is a female version of Oliver (by design).
