  1. Do tons of people really want to rent dogs for their wedding? That is just so bizarre to me. I guess I could see having your own dog but does it have to have a bride/groom mate? I wouldn’t spend $600 for that and who watches the dog during the wedding? The jumpsuits were unattractive to me and I don’t see where you would wear them. And no one is going to wear it for years and then send it back to the company. Then the lady was upset that the judges were concerned about making money: has she seen this show?
  2. It was good to see Anna standing up a little bit to her creepy husband but I don’t get why she lets her so called best friend treat her so badly. A lot of things don’t make sense and even in horror they should make sense in the world we are seeing. The husband seems like a creep yet I liked him when he told his mother he wasn’t going to lie about his father for her. Anna tells Siobhan she wants an Oscar more than a baby but we have no sense she is very career oriented and she didn’t seem to care that much about the Golden Globes. Also don’t understand the house manager and why she would be with Anna and Dex. This would be scarier with less people acting creepy. I would probably think Anna was losing her mind too with all of the things happening. Why do they show the bodyguard so much and why do we care if he is married?
  3. Why would Gordon even bother with a restaurant that is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday and doesn’t serve lunch? I don’t know what is going on with that place but it doesn’t seem they are serious about having a restaurant. I’m convinced they bought the place to have Gordon redesign so they could flip it and have content for the sons social media. I have never seen a pizza place that is closed every weekend.
  4. Something seemed off about this episode, almost like people playing a part. My son is convinced this was something set up for the boys video channels. This woman was bouncing checks as soon as the place opened and said she can’t buy anything with credit. How is that going to work going forward? Than the son talking about not being able to afford quality tomatoes. What were they using? The whole family seemed to be acting . There is no way the 22 has the experience to run everything and the mom and younger boys aren’t going to do anything. I liked the 22 year old but couldn’t stand the rest.
  5. Gerry gives off old man energy which doesn’t have to do with age but more with attitude. My husband and I are in our 60’s but we just have a younger state of mind. I think the insistence on women being super thin these days makes these women look frail and scrawny. When you add in the long thin hair it doesn’t look great. Still I give them credit for coming on the show and showing the world that older women don’t need to be in a rocking chair knitting.
  6. No one is forcing Olivia to stay married, if she wants to be single she can. What I meant by she could do worse is that if she loves Ethan and wants to stay married, I think he will be a kind and good husband. It was Olivia’s choice to move around the country, she says so on her Instagram. Ethan chose Minnesota because he has family there. Ethan does bury himself with his cars and Olivia takes off for Europe for months at a time. Wouldn’t work for my marriage but it might work for them.
  7. I hope Ethan and Olivia can make it. Ethan is a bit uneducated and naive but he seems like a kind and good person and Olivia could do a lot worse. The idea of moving to a new city every year and going on 3-4 trips to Europe every year sounds great but they won’t have the show income forever and I will never believe Olivia makes a fortune as an occasional wedding photographer. I guess she wants to be a bartender now? I’m not sure how Ethan can get a steady job if he has to move yearly and have months off for travel. Micah seems like he is tired of LA and wants to move home-the same story of thousands of other would be actors and models.
  8. The raccoon scene was disgusting! Anna is just so passive, I keep wanting her to be more assertive. She is paying her agent and the PR women, they should speak to her in a more professional way. Why is the OB doctor so weird? Even in Rosemary’s Baby the OB guy acted normal until the end. I did like the beginning and the curse idea and wonder how it ties in with the mother in law’s recovered memories. Her relationship with Anna I believe; my mother in law was a terrible person to me and I found it hard to stick up for myself because my husband wouldn’t get involved. I like the actor but the husband seems sleazy.
  9. It’s not a spin to say Friends was about the six friends and not a family sitcom, it’s the entire premise of the show. We didn’t see every moment of these characters lives, Ross didn’t have primary custody of Ben and there was plenty of mention of Ross having to pick up Ben or leaving to get Ben or scenes of him with Ben. Rachel did have primary custody of Emma but the baby was rarely seen. Are we supposed to think she was a bad mother? I think she spent time with Emma but the show was focused on friendship not parenthood.
  10. Kody saying he can’t show his love for Robyn because of his other wives is just ridiculous. I think my mouth dropped open when he said that. He is with Robyn all the time. What did he want to do, have a make out session with Robyn on Meri’s counter top? I can’t wait for the day those two are just stuck with other and no wives to complain about.
  11. It wasn’t a family sitcom though, it was about the friends and I think the show showed enough of Ross with Ben to make me think he loved his son. Emma was always with Rachel’s mom in the last season but I don’t think we were supposed to assume her parents didn’t love her-just that the show was about adults.
  12. I think the Return Home people had a good idea but it needs some finesse. People aren’t going to go to a warehouse to sit in front of box #62 and wouldn’t know what to with a box of soil delivered that contained their loved ones. There has to be a way of doing this in a more dignified manner. I thought the storm bags were a good idea for people who get water in their basement but I wouldn’t buy it to water plants since it can only be used 3 times and I don’t know if the watering would be consistent.
  13. I thought the imagery of the goat women was creepy although I didn’t need seeing babies in jars! Still have the same thing of something happening to Anna every five minutes, her constantly losing time and we don’t know what is real. Her husband and best friend don’t know losing time isn’t a typical reaction to a miscarriage? And Anna keeps losing many hours but then just acts like everything is ok. I would be frightened out of my mind. Is everyone in on whatever this is? The house manager was giving her strange looks. Why is there a house manager for a smaller house? Why would a modern house have a 1950’s style basement? Too many questions at this point.
  14. My niece and her husband moved to a lake house and she got a bacterial infection and almost died, it was like watching her story. Luckily she was in her 40’s and made it through but it went to her heart and was touch and go. Must be something in the water! Gerry is attractive and seems nice but something bothers me about him and I can’t put my finger on it. I was happy that he didn’t insist on women 20 years younger than him.
  15. There are too many things happening to Anna. It would be scarier if it was more subtle. I would think she would have a nervous breakdown with the constant craziness that only she can see. It seems like everyone is in on this and again it would be better if we had someone that seemed like a normal ally. It also seems like no one likes this woman yet she seems like a nice person so it doesn’t make sense.
  16. This was based on a book I read Delicate Condition and I’m hoping the show would be better than the book because I wasn’t crazy about it. Rosemary’s Baby is one of my favorite movies and I liked the little call backs like Dr. Hill. It does appear to be about gaslighting which is always frustrating to watch.
  17. I was happy with Grant winning. His dishes were cohesive, reflected his background and were plated modern but not trendy. I haven’t liked Jennifer throughout the competition but her dishes looked good if a bit dated.
  18. I think it is always hard for people to cut off their parents and especially in this case because the Plaths were so cut off from everyone else. I think Micah and Moriah wanting a relationship with their parents is fine, blaming Olivia for things is not. I don’t really like Olivia because I think she is very controlling and full of herself but she was not trying to steal Moriah’s music, that’s ridiculous. Also ridiculous was Moriah’s baptism outfit. Why would you ruin a good pair of boots? I think it is fine for her to get baptized and find her own relationship with God.
  19. Olivia needs to find some friends instead of putting all her efforts into changing yet another family member. However it is hard to make friends when you take 7 trips to Europe a year, sometimes spending months there and then move to a new city every few months. Being a young person is the time to travel but like the saying goes you need roots and wings and Olivia is all over the place. The scenes with her and Ethan seemed strange. I’m guessing she wanted a temporary separation but she is having second thoughts on being alone.
  20. I felt uncomfortable when the judges were putting down the idea and cooking method of MD’s Filipino dish. They were saying that’s not how you grill when she described how they cooked when she was a child. Before even tasting it they didn’t like the idea of a traditional dish made in a way that was different than a typical cook on a grill.
  21. Olivia doesn’t want to be married to Ethan because she thinks he is holding her back from being a world traveling model. The problem is without her association with the show , she won’t get the money or followers to fund her six trips a year to Europe. Yes, she is a wedding photographer. But every city has good photographers and I haven’t seen anything to suggest she has won awards or is particularly talented. She also says on her Instagram that her clients must pay her air fare, hotel , car rental and meals. Some people are doing that because they see her as a TV celeb and she puts the pics on her social media. If she leaves Ethan she is back to being a regular person trying to make a living and won’t be able to travel to Europe every month.
  22. Bisme had some great looks but his collection was not cohesive. I did like most of Laurence looks especially the ones with the sheer skirts. This finale bothered me a bit because it seemed like Bisme would win no matter what and this season seemed to be more about mentoring a young talent which meant people like Kortoe, Rami and Kara Saun had no chance. I was curious about Brandon not being there but I assume only Elaine matters now so maybe he thought he wasn’t needed.
  23. I despise Kim and Barry but I don’t like Olivia either. In her own way she is just as overbearing as Kim. If you read her Instagram, she thinks she is a huge star and the only one who gets to make decisions. And even though I can’t stand Kim and Barry their children have a right to love them and have a relationship with them if they choose. Olivia has the right to not see them but she doesn’t get to choose that for Ethan, Moriah or anyone else.
  24. I was hoping all four would show at fashion week; I think there is a market for elegant, draped fashion despite the snooty attitude of Elaine and the awful guest judge. Elaine thinks she is one of the 'cool kids' and someone like Rami doesn't fit in. I wasn't wowed by any of these outfits this time around but I guess I liked Bisme the best and think he is very talented. I noticed Elaine immediately said Bisme needs to be in based on the body of his work but Rami didn't get that consideration. Still, it's not Bisme's fault and he will likely win. I usually don't care about referential, but Laurence's dress looked almost exactly like the Chanel dress a poster referenced above, just in a different color. Puffer coats have been done forever and I don't have an interest in seeing them in a fashion show. The guest judge was awful and why was he judging everything based on what his particular clients wear rather than the challenge? The designers were not instructed to make something for his client.
  25. This show was awful. All about popularity and no real way to switch things up. The base commander was chosen by popularity and they picked people for the assignments. On shows like Big Brother or Survivor they at least have challenges that can give a person an advantage or an immunity. It is also was silly pretending they were running out of air or that any of these missions would fail. They also shouldn’t have brought people in later if there was no chance for them against the first group. As far as the ending, I assume they gave them the answers in the manual but Adam was the only one who read it so it made sense that he won.
