  1. I have a couple of nephews who live with roommates near campus because they want the 'campus' life and wanted some independence, I'm guessing that is Logan's reason too . It was nice to see how well the kids are doing but kind of boring too. I think Mariah wasn't featured because is out of town. Janelle might have gained some muscle and lost inches rather than pounds. It is a myth that all fat people lose weight quickly and in massive amounts. Women past 40 have a much harder time which I know from personal experience. Janelle is not my favorite person and I agree she is stress eating, but I understand her frustration.
  2. They all thought he said 'fart in public' and I think that was the intention too. If the questions were silly right reason questions, I could see playing around with it, But asking guys how many women they slept with on tv where potentially their parents could see it, is just invasive.
  3. I agree with Josh that asking a date to take a polygraph is in bad taste. I know Andi didn't come up with the idea but why was she so upset that Josh felt she didn't trust him or the other guys? Sometimes I don't mind Andi and other times I can't stand her; like when she gets so upset at something she shouldn't. If someone I was dating asked me to take a lie detector, I would tell them to go to hell. These guys didn't have that option but I can understand not liking it. Can't stand Nick either in looks or personality. I don't think he should care what the other guys think, but I still think he is a jerk and doesn't really care about Andi either. Dylan remains a sad sack with greasy hair. I was surprised she kept him over JJ, who is a shit stirer and wears weird pants but doesn't have so much baggage. She should have cut Cody before the one on one date. There is always one person who is nuts over the b/bette and it is pretty clear the feeling isn't mutual. He seems like a nice guy though and I don't think he will have a problem finding dates. Josh is growing on me-he speaks what's on his mind, he's handsome and I no longer mind his blinding white teeth so much. Still like Chris too although he gets into the 'guys are here for the wrong reasons' a little too much. And Andi-many if not most woman do not consider being lunged at the sole measure of a man. I'm sure most of these guys were raised (or found out through experience) that most women do not want to be attacked in a hallway-therefore they don't know it is your requirement. I did like her bright blue top and scarf tonight and not much else about her.
  4. I actually like the episodes with no dinner service because I'm tired of the lobster risotto and beef wellington. I don't believe for a minute that Gabriel's lamb piece that he didn't serve was cooked perfectly and the rest wasn't even worth a point. I don't even like him but shouldn't a good chef put what he thinks is the best food on the plate and leave the rest behind? They acted like he committed a sin by not serving every last morsel, yet Keshia left an entire side dish behind. The fake reporters were just stupid, I'm sure even these dim bulb chefs know that huge groups of reporters would not be interested in them. I'm guessing Joy will win the stunning calendar spot. Glad to see Melanie crash and burn, I can't stand her.
  5. Meri said she would still help with the business, it is Robyn who keeps insisting it is MSWC or nothing. Robyn seems terrified at the idea that someone could actually want to better themselves and not be her assistant/nanny. Why can't Robyn pay some of the teenagers to do some of the work? There can't be that much work considering the number of orders they get. And what the hell does Kody do? Does he do anything at all? I also can't fault Meri for being scared to speak in public. Fear of public speaking is the number one fear in the world and I know plenty of people who would be/are terrified to talk in front of even a small group. I also think it made no sense for the person who does the shipping to have to say anything anyway, they should have had one or two prepared speakers and that's it.
  6. I like both Josh and Brian although Brian probably isn't macho enough for Andi. Can't stand Nick, not attractive and I would have booted him for standing there frowning on the group date. Marquel seems like a great guy, but he never seemed to seek Andi out for conversation and he never mentioned going on a one on one date so I think he felt like a friend too. Still, he seemed sad to be sent home. I kind of feel sorry for the guys now that we know Andi expects them to be aggressive and try to kiss her. I would think it would be hard for them to push themselves too much, since they know other men are there. And you can get to know the guys without them lunging at you Andi. Oh, I forgot about Chris. I like him too, he seems like a great guy.
  7. How could the Brown's possibly ask for over a million dollars for there crappy, tin jewelry. What investor would give them that kind of money and what would they do with it? I am over Robyn and her constant whining over the business. At best, it is a very part time job which seems perfect for a mom with kids at home. Expecting Meri to forget about going to college to work on this crap is unbelievable. On top of that, none of the Browns are professional, not even golden girl Janelle. I'm pretty sure they are not getting that money.
  8. I have to say I liked Season 1 a little bit better, but also enjoyed season two. I felt that the story lines in season 1 were fleshed out to be part of an overall picture, where season 2 had lots of little gotcha moments that seemed cheap at times (Porn stache returning only so he could be led out pledging his love to Daya, Rosa's driving away to Don't fear the reaper and hitting Vee, etc). I didn't mind less of Piper but I still like her as the sort of central force of the show, because that is how the story was written and presented. If she left, it would be just another prison drama and I like that it keeps coming around to her point of view. Looking forward to where this goes in season 3.
  9. I was a little disappointed in Piper when she asked Larry and Polly to rat out Alex. She really is selfish. I did like the finale but felt there were too many moments (throughout the season really), when things happened to create a quick reaction from the audience rather than moving the story forward in a reasonable way. For example, glad Fig is gone but the last ditch BJ with Caputo didn't make me laugh like I'm sure it was supposed to. I also continue to be annoyed that we were supposed to think the actual warden didn't make any policies and Fig ran everything from her rather plush office. I still can't reconcile big-boned Russian sounding Rosa with medium boned Spanish sounding Rosa, but I guess I'm glad she got away and the radio happened to be playing "Dont't Fear the Reaper". I knew that she would end up hitting Vee too, but would rather have had something else happen. No longer like Suzanne, but my love of Poussey has grown this season so something good happened.
  10. I find it interesting how Fig acts like she is VP of the United States when she is just an assistant warden in a women's prison. And all of these government employees have union representation so her constant threats against their employment is just bull. And yes she looks awful with her hair up. They are making her way too much of a villain, just so we can root for her downfall. Vee is really an evil, evil woman. She doesn't care about anyone and I feel sorry for Suzanne when she finds out exactly who and what Vee is. I really like Red and I was almost wishing she would go through with killing Vee. I still cannot stand Daya. She has the personality of a dishrag and is not all that attractive either. What does she want Bennett to do? Would she really be happy with him in prison with her baby having neither parent to take care of him/her. I understand what Bennett did was wrong, but Daya was part of it too. I just find it hard to believe two Co's would fall for her.
  11. Eric's death is sad, but the Bachelorette was only a small part of his life. I didn't think they needed this sit down with Andi, a note on the screen at the end would have sufficed. I didn't really get what Eric was trying to say to Andi. She is getting to know a big bunch of guys, the show requires that she act like she is interested in all of them. Of course she has to have a poker face. I don't see her as any more of an actress than any of the other contestants. Eric himself came across as very controlled and robotic to me so I was surprised that he felt so emotional about it. That being said, Andi was out of line in scolding and lecturing the guys. This should be a big red flag for these guys; Andi likes to play the attorney and lecture people. She also seems to have a really high opinion of herself. And what about the expression Poker face made her so upset? I like Marcus and thought he was great to her on the building. I wouldn't try that on a windy day either and I am glad that they showed Andi having that real moment of showing her fear. I actually wish she had more of a poker face. We are not supposed to be able to tell this early who she is into and not into but it is pretty obvious. Cody, Marquel, Andrew, Eric and JJ are definitely in the friend zone. Not sure she really is crazy about anyone; I suspect she is but she is so bossy and demanding that she isn't showing a soft, in love side yet.
  12. Not finding Nick attractive at all but he seems nice enough. Eric still seems robotic to me and he and Andi have zero chemistry. Josh is handsome and seems sweet but damn his teeth could glow in the dark! Did Andi really say she looked like she was 50 after her "old" makeup was put on? Sorry Andi but I'm 50 and I'm not stooped and wrinkled.
  13. I'm liking Andi more than I thought I would but her y'alls and stops have to stop. Chris seems really cute and nice and Josh is handsome but his blinding white teeth are putting me off just a little. Hate to say it because I know he died, but Eric just leaves me cold. He seems way more interested in adventuring than getting to know Andi. Thought it was funny that drunk Craig (is that his name?) seemed more into Josh than Andi.
