The story of lying Seth was over too quickly; why was he lying? If this isn’t mentioned again the character was just a waste. It seems like too many stories have done the Slenderman thing, we didn’t need to hear it again. Is Bailey going to be in danger again? A lot going on this episode.

S16.E13: Hella Awkward; DomeDock; Riverbend; Dig World

There are also a lot of games out there like Cards Against Humanity and other ones that don’t require asking such personal questions. I don’t see any card game selling enough to pay back the sharks. Cards Against Humanity made a lot of money but it was a very new twist on card games and now there are tons of these. My son would have loved Dig World when he was a kid. He loved going to public works days when he could just sit in trucks, being able to move things would have been heaven. It’s a very expensive idea though and again not likely to make money for a long time . There are also a million different hat storage things out there, this one is not unique. -
Seeing the video of Ashley after she was shot was just shocking: we usually see only a partial shot in these types of shows. She has had to struggle so much to get where she is today. Hearing him tell his daughter that the son won’t mind prison was one of the most cold blooded things I’ve ever heard.

I think this show likes to twist things from what we expect. We think Saxon is going to corrupt innocent Lochy, but Lochy may be the real predator. The Russians are up to something with the girl friends but it might be different than we think. The Sam Rockwell speech was interesting but I don’t know what it had to do with anything. Chloe was encouraging the brothers to take drugs and party but also thinks Gary might be violent if he finds out. What is she up to? My older and very conservative sister started watching this, I’ll have to call her tomorrow to see how shocked she was lol.

I wanted Alexander and Frankie to win at the end. I couldn’t stand Charlotte and her fake crying and Leanne was so harsh to people she didn’t like. I guess now people will try to screw over fellow faithfuls to get a bigger share.

S17.E11: Ross Matthews vs. Acting!

I thought the skit was a fun spoof of the Capote Vs Swans show on FX although I knew who the swans were and don’t know the celebrity housewives. Suzie is still my favorite and it made me sad so many of the queens voted her as the one who should go home. Not a fan of Lexi and her everlasting angst. I thought Jewel’s runway was fine but didn’t get the extreme fawning over it. -
That’s true but why even meet with him? She knew the kind of person he was and also that she couldn’t quash the story. If she was meeting to kill him she would have to be sure he didn’t already give the information in her to his attorney or someone else. I just think the whole story was a little weak.

I don’t think the reporter had a real motive for the killing even if the guy threatened to ruin her life. I’m a retired reporter and once I filed a story it was in the hands of the editor; I had no further control . Reporters don’t have the authority to quash stories, if she didn’t do it someone else would be assigned. I think he did attack her unless she has a history of violence. Maroun really needs to work as a public defender or victim advocate. She doesn’t like the prosecution side of things. I see Maura Tierney still plays every role like she is clinically depressed.

It’s not a tattletale to bring it up to the head doctor, she’s a tattletale for talking about it with other people especially when she doesn’t know the whole story and Robby told her not to discuss it. The shooting at Pittfest was expected but still awful for Robby who is already having a bad day.

Yes, they spend too much time thinking about who would be a perfect traitor based on their lives and forget Claudia selects for whatever reasons the show decides. That being said I wish they could find a way to incorporate some really hard clues as to who a traitor might be. Otherwise there is the constant “you looked happy for a moment but didn’t look happy later” stupidity in guessing. I was glad Armani was caught; why was she saying the traitors needed to be more aggressive? Aggressive how? They already have the power to murder, what else could they do?

This show is boring to watch and it must be even more boring to have to sit in the rain and do nothing for days. I can see that the sort of cutthroat culture the show requires wouldn’t be for everyone.

I think Valentin is up to something shady because Jacklyn asked for something with music and partying and he sent her to a pool exactly like the White Lotus except with all older people. Then he told them to go shopping knowing they would get soaked and wouldn’t like it. It’s possible he is setting up something with his friends to rob them but something is going on. I agree that Greg would not go anywhere near White Lotus and with his kind of money he could go anywhere.

Thoughts on this episode: Saxon is crass and annoying but at least he is trying to have fun on vacation. The rest of the family just mopes around. Tim has a reason but he was like that before he found out about his work situation. Once he knew things were happening, a guy like him would be moving money or doing something besides ignoring the situation. Valentin seems to be purposely sending the women to places they won’t like. What is he setting up? Also worried for Belinda and her son. I don’t like the actress who plays Chelsea-she over emotes constantly. And if I were a young woman who wanted to be with a unattractive older man for money (Chelsea and Chloe), I would at least pick one who occasionally smiled and was fun.

I thought the first part was excellent-you could feel how unsettled the girls were but they tried to stay polite. The rest of the movie was not successful to me as the endless maze of basements and the prophet stuff just were over the top. Hugh Grant was quite good!

I hated the whining and complaining about the order during the roast. You have to be funny no matter where you are in the line up. Also wanted someone to call Arrietty out on stealing jokes-just a crappy thing to do. Lexi has been annoying me for a while and I want her gone now.

Calling people derogatory names when they asked you not to is bullying. She has no regard for her coworkers or the chain of command although she has been in that hospital and her job for only a few hours. She also threatened the life of a patient who could not seek help due to be intubated. Enough to make me dislike the character.

Jeff Fahey doesn’t look old enough to me to be Vince’s dad. In real life he is 72 and Billy is 58. So he could have been a dad at 14 but then he wouldn’t have been a stern firefighter throughout Vince’s childhood. I think the mystery of who/what is causing the men to get sick is at least new and interesting. I’m not sure I could date someone who carjacked a car with a toddler inside then just got high while the scared baby cried for his parents. I know she’s sober now but that story is just too much. It is sad there aren’t good answers for people with dementia.

I’m waiting to find out if they have a state of the art prosthetic lab on the ship to replace the amputations. Nothing would surprise me on this show.

You’re right , I forgot about the breakup. The long breaks make me forget things.

I thought Eddie’s story took too much of the episode. I know he and Buck are good friends but Buck is in a relationship now and shouldn’t be acting like a child. I was very surprised by the ending but I was wondering how that pedo guy could possibly know the name of Maddie’s daughter. I’m pretty sure Maddie would get fired for telling a caller to kill himself. I assume the detective killed him after the call but why is she coming after Maddie? Blaze was cute and looked exactly like my childhood pet Ralph !

I didn’t like the way this story was handled. I don’t like Santos and wish the people who she assigns demeaning nicknames would report her because other people hearing these names could think less of them even subconsciously and it’s workplace harassment. But putting that aside ( and her threatening a patient), there was no way she had enough evidence based on what was shown and over a few hours . I also think Dr. Robby would have perhaps looked into the evidence without immediately accusing Dr. Langdon. Why are the family members of patients right up in the field of doctors doing procedures? They would be asked to step outside the room. I’m kind of unhappy that the show is going to change in some big way, I like it the way it was and I liked the character of Dr. Langdon.

This show is all over the place. Tonight’s bread test was just dumb-how are people supposed to judge how much bread to take when they don’t know how many are left. Then giving out supplies based on how much you like the families at the headquarters is also dumb. I would be terrible at this challenge; I’m a life long vegetarian and if any rats were crawling on me I would be screaming bloody murder.

I understand, I’m disabled myself. Baylen will learn as she goes along. I follow her on Instagram and she seems to be doing fine. I don’t agree Colin is bad for her though, they love each other and will help each other.
-
The reason I brought up Colin taking care of himself for years is you said if Baylen had left him alone to take care of a couch delivery she would be raked over the coals and I’m quite sure Colin wouldn’t care as he probably does a lot of things without her. Baylen is 22 years old and needs to be able to handle things alone sometimes. Colin works full time and cannot be with her every second. If she cannot be alone she needs a caregiver or her parents need a power of attorney so they can force her to live with them. Colin does a lot for her but will not be able to be with her 24 hours a day .
-
Colin has been in the Air Force for years, he knows how to take care of himself without Baylen’s help. Most adults don’t expect their partner to spend every minute with them, even on their birthday. Colin missed a couch delivery while trying to do something funny to make Baylen laugh and perhaps be less stressed. He didn’t miss the birth of their child or an important hospital appointment. I don’t know why anyone would rake Baylen over the coals if she left Colin to handle a couch delivery; he will probably handle most things like that.
