And did anyone notice how bald Whoopi is? I'm guessing pulling her hair all these years has done some damage. Anyone?
-
Time to write ABC again. I wonder if they will notice that I have been complaining about Whoopi every day she is on lately. I get an automated response. Who know if that's where it ends. I'm thinking of sending a registered letter requiring signature (knowing that a lackey would sign for it)

Congratulations, wanderwoman! Hoping all goes as smoothly as possible and you get to cuddle your little girl at home very soon. Great name.

I am sending an email to "Friends@foxnews.com" asking them to have Ms. Hasselbeck and their team do some real research before they report on something in a half baked way. I'm sure I will get the same automated response I get from ABC when I write often about the Whoopi situation.

As many as God allows - maybe he only allows 2 or 3? It reminds me of the old joke about an all you can eat restaurant. The patron asks for seconds and the waitperson refuses and says "that's all you can eat". But, then again, I'm not sure these folks would accept that - and it is sad that they are into the child bearing competition thinking it makes them better people than everyone else, disregarding that resources will be stretched thin and again thinking God will provide. Would be better if they let in the good sense that God provides. But, there you go.

Live With Kelly And Mark - General Discussion
lookeyloo replied to Shermie's topic in Live With Kelly And Mark
I just watched Monday's show - it seemed like a big flirtation between Michael and Jennifer Lopez. It was sweet. At least to me! -
The Wendy Williams Show - General Discussion

Mine are saline installed in 1976. Very happy with them. No dr. has ever suggested replacing them. -

It just doesn't seem to me that Jana has the mental energy to do all that it would take for her to break away. Picture her telling the parents she wants to try something else with her life. My thought is that they would put so much pressure on her and leave her no opportunity to explore any options. And she would just give in. Unless in her head right now she accepts her situation. For her to get out it would be like going to a foreign country and trying to adapt with limited support. And she would be easy to take advantage of. -
Good possibility Cereality. As a retired state employee in another southern state I can say that we were "sent" special people to fill those mid level jobs. They were not well received as a general rule because they bumped better qualified people (for the most part) out of contention. And it took a lot of work for them to realize that they were expected to produce - no matter who sent them. Some left of their own accord for places where they could coast. Not saying this is the way Ben would go. Plus in our state most of the supervisors in the mid level agencies are women.

I am drinking a cosmo and a little looped and I am watching the craft segment. I have to say I love Rosie O. I don't always agree with her and she is sometimes a little "nutsy" but overall she is fun to watch.

Erin and Chad: Fifty Shades of Pink
lookeyloo replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Bringing Up Bates
Well, my 11 year old granddaughter has that exact canopy over her bed... -
Did anyone see Sherri on Meredith's show? Asking Meredith for parenting advice and Jeffrey wanting to "touch his peepee". Oy. She needs to stay home.

I think a lot more than what we see goes on when they are not filming. Especially as time goes on. Which is maybe why some of the kids look at loose ends. If they really had nothing to do for the most part, they would be even more rambunctious than we see. They can probably manage to sort of hold it together for the filming. Do we know how much time the film crew spends with them? And between seasons are they left to their own devices except when they seek out publicity?

I've made her crash potatoes and they are wonderful.

Just watched today's show on their website. Very enjoyable overall. Loved the craft segment. Rosie is so natural. Looked like Babs was almost enjoying herself but she looked sad in the eyes today. Or one too many procedures. Hard to tell.

I'm in the camp that thinks it is just a big baby (or big belly). I think I read somewhere that Jill is 5'8" and hasn't appeared to gain much weight elsewhere, and with Derick being a big baby, maybe that's all it is. And, when would they ever had time to have sex (properly- meaning she was a virgin first time, whenever it was, and maybe it would have taken more than a free minute to do it) without a chaperone? Unless we only see what is on the show and there is more freedom when the cameras aren't there. But, I still don't think so.

What an enjoyable show! Enjoyed all of it.

Complaint Central: Don't Tweet Whoopi About It
lookeyloo replied to RogerFromOhio's topic in The View
Oops. I posted originally in the wrong thread, but I did contact ABC and left a comment very similar to yours, RogerFromOhio. -
Am definitely going to let ABC know what a better show this was!! Right now!!
-
That would be something to see! When my son came out, we said, "Okay. Do you still want meatloaf for supper?" My guess is that an entirely different response would spew forth from the Duggar compound. And I wonder if TLC were there, would the big hand of Jim Bob come over the camera, and would that be shown? Something to ponder!!!

Am I misremembering or doesn't KLG love the nude glossy lips?
-
Well, that's what we normal people would do. Where would be the drama if Sherri did that?

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
lookeyloo replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
That would be great if she had the strength to do that. She seems so submissive on screen - maybe there is more to her when the cameras are off. She really seems to have no skills for planning an escape, a funding source, friendly place to take her in, etc. The longer she stays the more she becomes "institutionalized" to her situation, if that makes sense. Maybe off camera she asserts herself. -
"bitter pontificating bully," Couldn't have said this better! That's exactly how she comes off to me. Can't speak to who is more intelligent, at least on paper, but, I enjoy Rosie's discussions much better. I don't agree with her all the time, but, she does seem like she wants a discussion vs. giving a lecture.
