  1. And Andi. She even set the record straight on ATFR. Not sure if JoJo remained unfertilized.
  2. If a guy is staring at you from inches away while you puke and kisses you afterwards then you know they're really into you. Oh and crying happy tears on the first date. Vanessa, you go girl! Loved her putting him on the spot as well. As expected, the Liz situation was just shrugged off, since obviously no one was under the impression that Nick's a virgin. Corinne is working on my last nerve. I get it, the show needs a villain, but does she really have to narrate every date she's on and every cocktail party she bothers to appear at (briefly)? So over it, show, so over it. I don't think Nick's seriously into her, he's just being nice and enjoying the break from thinking. Dominique's feelings may have been legit, but I have no idea why she thought aggressive confrontation was the way to go. The lead needs to be really into to you for that to work. If they're barely acknowledging you as it is, then you just bought your ticket home.
  3. I didn't like JoJo's dress at all, it was so ill-fitting. I think the original had a little strap across the chest, which they removed, probably because JoJo's bust wouldn't have fit in it otherwise. It made the edges of the neckline curl outwards, which just looked bad, not to mention it was a bit wedding dressy anyway. The show's stylist mentioned somewhere that they picked sparkly showy numbers for JoJo and simple and chic ones for Lauren, because those fit their own styles. These were the back up dresses, which I actually preferred: https://www.instagram.com/p/BC7G9OahsRD/?taken-by=caryfetman&hl=en Anyway, back to Nick and his ladies. The first night dresses usually rival the horror of the final rose ceremony dresses. One that baffled me the most was Elizabeth W's dress, which looked like a wedding dress and a quick look at her IG told me that it was in fact from a bridal shop. Was she trying to do a Lindsay Yenter except so subtly that no one got the joke?
  4. Judging by SM, it seems as though Vanessa was closest to Danielle M., while Rachel, Raven and Corinne were close with each other. So I think there were some cliques going on. If Vanessa didn't like Nick keeping Corinne around even over her friend Danielle, then that probably caused some tension with the others.
  5. They showed the "we had sex" declaration at the end of last night's episode and he was definitely talking about Liz. It wasn't a preview. I personally doubt Nick will do any sneaking around after seeing how it blew up in Kaitlyn's face. He's barely redeemed himself, so is he really willing to become hated again so soon? I doubt it, since he seems to be able to learn from his mistakes, even if slowly.
  6. It's funny that the girl Liz decided to confide in is the one who said in her intro video that she's waiting until marriage. No wonder she kept gasping for air, lol. I wonder if Liz was aware of that. Pretty unfair of her to burden a near stranger with a secret like that. Just keep it to yourself, at least until you've talked to Nick. She just kept making one idiotic decision after another all episode. I hope her bestie Jade won't try to defend her again, because it's not worth it. I don't think Nick particularly liked touching Corinne's boobs, at least not in front of the other women. He was holding his hands in the air until he was basically forced to place them there in order to not utterly embarrass her. He did seem to have a nice time with her when they talked for the first time at the party, but he looked uncomfortable the next two times, which is why I'm not sure that rose was his decision. Maybe it was since she sure worked hard for it and Nick's been there himself, but I just didn't see that much interest in her on his part and it was awfully convenient, since the fallout was inevitable. Corinne is 24 BTW, now 25. Taylor comes across very young despite her accomplishments and knowledge of psychology. I just got the vibe that Nick saw her more as a younger sister than a romantic interest. He looked pretty uncomfortable and avoidant when she was staring at him intently and trying hard to connect. I must say I really don't get why these 23-24-year-olds would want to compete for a guy who's 12 years their senior. Nick looks pretty good for his age, but still. My boyfriend is 7 years older and that felt like a lot to me as well when we started dating, I was actually apprehensive about it. I can't believe these young girls are desperate to get engaged to a guy who'll be 40 in a few years. I actually hope most of them are just looking for more TV time and aren't serious about wanting Nick as their husband. I like Raven. She seems very honest and straight-forward. Perhaps not be the prettiest, but she's cute enough and her accent doesn't bother me. ETA: I was also wondering how Danielle could've been unaware of her fiancé's drug addiction. Maybe if it was a quickie engagement or a long-distance relationship, but if they saw each other in person every day or lived together, then that's just odd. Surely the drugs will change one's behaviour, at least a little.
  7. What was Liz thinking?! Not much by the looks of things. Way to make an awkward situation infinitely more awkward by basically telling everyone while pretending it's fictional. That must've taken a lot of producer prodding or she's a total idiot. Nick couldn't get rid of her fast enough and I can't blame him at all. She wanted Nick to be a stalker who wouldn't leave her alone after she refused to give her number? Yeah right! Corinne is insufferable. I give those women a lot of credit for not strangling her already. They probably just pity her, since she's such a trashy mess. A younger trashier Kaitlyn basically. No way was giving her a rose Nick's choice. I smell producer antics. Danielle M. is sweet, but so not Nick's type. I thought Jen was way too calm and low energy for him and she's practically hyper compared to Danielle.
  8. I don't see why Nick wouldn't want to settle down, or at least find the person to eventually settle down with. He's 36 already, comes from a huge close-knit family and wants his own, has been in love several times before, even engaged once, and tried to propose to two women on TV already. Sharleen from Juan Pablo's season, who's been friends with Nick since after Andi's season, has said several times that Nick really does believe this can work out for him. I can kind of see why, since IMO he did genuinely fall in love with Andi, so he knows it can happen. If his perfect person is in this group of women, then I don't see why he wouldn't try to hang on to her. Sure, he's been hanging around in LA doing this and that while single and free to do what he fancies, and is probably hoping to do DWTS, but I'm not at all convinced that he's planning to stay there for life. Nick may like attention, but he's not stupid, so I'm sure he knows he's already extended his 15 minutes. I feel like people are judging Nick based on his actions as a single man (not out of choice), while we have little idea how he is once in a relationship.
  9. Some of JoJo's dresses were to die for, not that she looks bad in anything. And they definitely bring their own clothes, dresses included, except for the final rose ceremony gowns. Those usually look the worst anyway, since they rarely even suit the women. I love me some Nick. I mean I probably wouldn't want to date him myself, but I think he's a decent guy, more intelligent than most and entertaining in his snarkiness and frankness. I love that he's attracted to confident successful women (though Kaitlyn...) and actually seems interested in getting to know these people. Has any Bachelor ever asked that many questions about the women's jobs? He didn't just ask what they do and then go "Oh cool" and change the subject. He kept asking follow-up questions about their area of expertise and whether they like what they do. I've always liked him, yet I was still impressed. I also loved that he wanted to get to the bottom of why Liz was there after already turning him down 9 months earlier. It's pretty obvious what sparked her interest, no matter what she says. Nick's been on these shows enough times to know what's what. I also hope they stop underlining the idea that Nick was a villain before his "redemption" on BIP. I'm sure there are plenty of people who bought into the villanous edit on Andi's season, but I can't even begin to see what he did wrong on Kaitlyn's season except dared to show up. I didn't think he did anything wrong on Andi's season either, he just made those mimbos insecure, so they harped on everything he did, which made them look like a bunch of idiots. The only half-villanous thing was "outing" Andi, but that was much ado about nothing as well considering how strongly the sex was insinuated on the show. So cut it out, show, he's the most innocent villain you've ever had. I thought it was totally uncalled for of Sean to say people saw Nick as a "huge toolbag". Speak for yourself, Sean, I never did. You, however, were always a tool in my eyes and it's only gotten worse over time.
  10. Maybe all that drinking has already led to jaundice and yellow + brown makes orange? Just guessing.
  11. That conversation with Andi is what piqued my interest as well when it comes to Nick. Before that I didn't really get what Andi saw in him and after that he was my favourite. It's so refreshing to hear some thoughts on this show that have taken some formulating. They could be anything really, as long as they don't come from the Bachelor handbook of clichés. That's my number one wish for this season, some interesting conversations. If anyone can deliver, it's Nick. Thank heavens they didn't pick Luke, because just the thought of him makes me sleepy.
  12. http://www.tmz.com/2016/12/19/bip-josh-murray-amanda-stanton-fight-breakup/ Josh is such a lunatic. He did something similar to Andi as well at her friend's wedding, caused a scene and left. I hope he seeks some therapy. But it's nice that he's confirming with his actions that the "fictional novel" wasn't fictional at all. What a redemption fail, in every way. Couldn't have happened to a nicer jerk!
  13. Haha, I had to do a double take as well when I saw those two pics! For a sec I thought there was another article about Josh and Amanda. Amanda is most definitely an idiot for even dating Josh let alone moving him in with her kids, but at least she had the good sense to get rid of him. She doesn't even seem bothered by the breakup unlike his previous ex.
  14. Josh finally headed back to Atlanta, but not before posting one more sympathy seeking pic of himself with Kinsley. He gives me the creeps. Good for Amanda for kicking him to the curb! http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/bachelors-amanda-stanton-josh-murray-cryptic-messages-amid-split-rumors-w456606
  15. This whole scenario makes Liz look like an idiot. She had sex with Nick despite thinking he's a sleazebag, rejected him, then supposedly changed her mind after seeing him on BIP and decided to go pursue him on TV? More likely she wanted to be part of the Bachelor family like her bestie and applied thinking Luke was the Bachelor. Then all of a sudden it was her previous one-night-stand instead, but the lure of fame was too strong to pull out at that stage, so she had to come up with that stupid explanation about BIP, which makes little sense considering she could've easily got in touch with him if she really wanted to. I'm glad Nick apparently had a frank discussion about it first thing, since that's what I'm expecting from his season. Real discussions, honesty and cutting through the BS. I guess he didn't get a chance to talk to her again that night, so he gave her a rose, but let her go as soon as the discussion continued on the group date.
  16. I'm glad to hear he thinks Rachel will be a fan favourite, especially considering his earlier insinuations. I think she's very pretty. Not a stunner, but then again not many Bachelorettes have been. JoJo may be the closest, but her personality has a lot to do with it. I definitely don't want Corinne as the next lead, nor do I think she even has a chance, and Raven is already annoying me by selling TeamRaven shirts in her shop.
  17. You forgot Danielle M., the prenatal nurse, from the list of nurses. Dolphins are actually pretty scary, wild ones at least. I saw a program about some dolphin who likes swimming with people, but unfortunately only certain people. One woman who the dolphin hadn't swam with before, received quite the beating and broken bones as a result of getting in the water.
  18. I was actually positively surprised by this revival. Maybe it's because I haven't watched the old episodes in years and season 7 was such a forced mess in my opinion. I only watched the last episode to remind myself how the show even ended and this revival felt much more like the good old GG. There was some stupid stuff like the musical that dragged on and on, and indeed Lorelai and Luke not mentioning kids until she's almost hitting 50, but that gave us Paris, so I'm good. I absolutely loved seeing all those familiar faces, which IMO looked surprisingly unaged considering the decade in between, apart from Luke that is. Perhaps the main reason I liked it though is that it gave me a glimmer of hope that Rory will one day end up with Jess, which is something I wasn't expecting at all. I didn't even know Jess would make an appearance, so I was excited to say the least. I started watching the show as a teenager after catching the end of some episode with Rory and Jess and I was really invested in their relationship. I always wanted to Rory to end up with him and didn't care for her other relationships at all. Never liked Logan and his three stooges, they're just a bad parody of trust fund kids, and I always thought he was a bad influence on Rory. Not that Lorelai is a good influence either as proven once again. Rory really is her mother's daughter, self-involved to the max. The whole cheating and not caring one bit about her actual boyfriend is just not cute from a woman in her 30's. What I imagine happening after this is Rory never telling Logan about the baby, since her morals are what they are, they already said their goodbyes and there's no point ruining his marriage and name, unless Rory wants him back. She will raise the child by herself with help from Lorelai and Luke. Jess will be her Luke and at some point down the line they'll end up together, since Jess clearly still has some feelings for her. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Hopefully there won't be another season, so I can keep my fantasy. I also really liked the Emily storyline and thought it was very realistic by GG standards. When you go through such a massive loss, things that once seemed important lose their meaning and you have no choice but to find meaning somewhere else in order to keep your sanity. The move to that house with gorgeous views would help me a lot that's for sure. I don't think it's that unrealistic that Lorelai and Luke weren't married yet considering the whole quickie marriage with Christopher. Maybe it put her off marriage for a bit and then they just never got around to it. The kids thing was weird though, since she did seem to want more kids before. But I liked seeing them all settled into their relationship. They were acting like a couple that's been together for a decade and I think it would've been unrealistic to witness them still in the honeymoon phase. I loved Luke's passionate rant when Lorelai got back from her failed hike. The one thing I was left wondering about was the fate of the Gazette. Rory saved it and now she's writing a book, so what happens to the paper? She can't let it die! I actually loved the storyline about her career going nowhere, and the 30-something gang. It's a hard world out there and a good degree doesn't automatically quarantee success anymore. You need drive and passion and a good amount of luck. I always felt that towards the end of the series Rory was mainly relying on her smarts and was more in love with the idea of being a famous journalist than in love with journalism, so it's not surprising she didn't end up making it. Not gonna lie, I found the interview for the website kind of hilarious. She was keeping it as some kind of a fall-back option and then had nothing to offer them when put on the spot. Finding out she's only passionate about writing about herself and her mom is pretty much the perfect ending and Jess is a genius for suggesting it. He knows her so well. Hopefully raising that kid will make her pull her head out her behind, but then again, just look at Lorelai. All in all, I think this was worthwhile. I haven't really been invested in any fictional TV shows in recent years, so it's nice to have a few more hours of what used to be my favourite show.
  19. Ben is an insecure manchild who needs his partner to fawn over him and tell him he's the bestest no matter what and Lauren is not that person. She's not the adoring girlfriend who'll look up to him and giggle at all his lame jokes, on the contrary, she rolls her eyes at him and often acts a bit passive-aggressive. One, or both of them, is gonna have to change their ways or he'll never feel ready.
  20. These two are so cute: Sonia and Lilly + the rest of the cast also organised a big event for the homeless on Saturday. I'm happy they can all be friends.
  21. Based on what I've seen of Vanessa online, she's Nick's type to a T. Confident, doesn't take herself too seriously, resembles Andi physically, and her current profession makes met think she must have a lot of patience and a big heart. I think they could be a great match. The only thing I'm wary of is the fact that the last three couples are still together and seem very happy. I can't help feeling like a fourth success in a row is pushing it. I'm hoping for the best though, since I want Nick to find his match. I think Rachel will most likely get the Bachelorette gig if Vanessa is F1. Corinne doesn't seem like lead material at all, unless they want a younger Kaitlyn, and Raven seems more like a Des type, which I don't see TPTB wanting again. If there's a massive fan favourite though, then who knows. Here's the first preview: http://www.etonline.com/news/202799_exclusive_nick_viall_says_he_s_killing_it_sexy_first_footage_of_the_bachelor/
  22. Well the bachandbachettefans forum received information that the F3 are supposedly Whitney, Kristina and Rachel. Will be interesting to see if RS finally spills the beans tomorrow. No point playing cat and mouse if the information is already out there, unless it's wrong of course.
  23. I wouldn't be surprised if the restroom sex happened when he was a teenager and the other party was his girlfriend. Just because it happened in a pool restroom doesn't mean it was some casual encounter or his usual modus operandi. And just because you're shy it doesn't mean you can't learn to interact with people in a professional capacity. It's pretty different from actually getting close to people. I mean this is the guy who couldn't even utter the words "You look pretty" to his new wife at their wedding. I'd call that pretty inhibited. He also kept telling the camera all kinds of nice things about her throughout the season, but barely managed to say any of it to her face. Another sign of inhibition. I don't think he was particularly vocal with his friends either and these are the people he probably feels the most comfortable with. I'm pretty sure even they talked about him not letting people in.
  24. I get where she's coming from. Yes, introverts can be into one-night-stands and the lot as well, but Nick is not only an introvert, he's also shy and inhibited. When you get little pleasure out of getting to know new people, then you'd kind of have to go out of your way to cheat. It's unlikely to "just happen", which seems to be the favourite excuse of cheaters. His biggest fault also seems to be that he's not physically affectionate, so I can't really picture him freely giving out affection to some random woman, unless you still think he's simply not attracted to Sonia and that's why he's not affectionate with her. Obviously extroverts can be trustworthy as well, but you can't deny that they're more likely to form new acquintances and get close to people quickly, both emotionally and physically. That's simply because it's easier for them, and they enjoy the company of other people. The more people you interact with the more "opportunities" there are to cheat. Whether you have any desire to take advantage of those opportunities is down to personality and morals of course.
  25. Thanks for posting that link, I hadn't read that interview before. These are pretty good reasons to stay with the man you agreed to marry sight unseen: You can say that she could do better, but she could also do a whole lot worse.
