joshleejosh January 28, 2014 Share January 28, 2014 (edited) Editor's Note: Discuss Bob's Burgers Here! Next time I'm upset with someone, instead of crossing my arms and scowling, I'm going to Can-Can forcefully at them. That'll show 'em. Edited June 23, 2019 by OnceSane Link to comment

joshleejosh March 7, 2014 Author Share March 7, 2014 Bob's Burgers will be releasing an album of its songs, and announced its upcoming timeslot change with a song as well. They sure do like doing their musical bits, and I sure do like it when they do. My personal favorite is probably either "Electric Love" or the National's cover of Linda's Thanksgiving song. Are there any songs that you find yourself humming, or perhaps belting out loud whenever you get into a car and fasten your seat belts? 1 Link to comment
David T. Cole March 7, 2014 Share March 7, 2014 I was coming in here to say that "Lifting Up The Skirt Of The Night" is hands down the best BB song. I don't remember really paying attention to the music in the show before that episode and I don't think they have topped it since. I wish they'd do more of that and less of the porn-music under the baritone's speaking the word of the subject-at-hand stuff they usually do. Link to comment
Monty March 8, 2014 Share March 8, 2014 I have rethought my answer. My new favorite song is "Buckle it up or you'll die," which I honestly believe says a lot about how the Belchers work as a plausible family unit. 3 Link to comment
DowntonStabby March 10, 2014 Share March 10, 2014 I hope the music featured on tonight's episode is also a part of this. The animation of the music in the end credits was great! Link to comment
Luisa March 12, 2014 Share March 12, 2014 I couldn't get Gene's song about being scared of snakes out of my head for weeks. And now it's back. 2 Link to comment

jellysalmon March 25, 2014 Share March 25, 2014 The Boys 4 Now song "Interesting" is amazing and I think it would be Billboard top 200 if put behind a pretty boy face. If some hot guy said those words to you, you'd be in swoon city. Link to comment
Tara Ariano March 27, 2014 Share March 27, 2014 When the Belchers go on a train trip, Gene, Louise, and Tina are seated in a separate car; Linda and Bob indulge in a wine-tasting. Link to comment
Monty March 31, 2014 Share March 31, 2014 With the Belcher kids all being crazy, and the Pesto kids all being crazy, sometimes it's nice to mix in someone who's so normal he's really boring. That came out wrong. I think Regular Sized Rudy is great. 2 Link to comment
Phineas Poe March 31, 2014 Share March 31, 2014 I feel pretty bad for Regular Sized Rudy: asthma, allergic to chocolate, left with only a beanbag chair for a friend on a wine train. At least he gets to hang out with the Belchers once in a while. 2 Link to comment
dougfir April 1, 2014 Share April 1, 2014 Nice to see Regular-Size Rudy again. I liked how he punked the Belcher kids at the end about his chocolate allergy (and Louise was actually concerned about him... imagine that). And this was the second ep in a row that had Bob and Linda throwing foodstuffs. Hope this isn't the start of a trend. Link to comment
King of Birds April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 the National's cover of Linda's Thanksgiving song. This is the most awesome. Kill Kill Kill! Kill the turkey. But I do think of buckling up or I'll die when I get in my car everyday. Hmmm. Link to comment

lokison April 4, 2014 Share April 4, 2014 Of all of the many things I love about Tina Belcher, I love how she runs. I could watch an entire episode of Bob's Burger's with just Tina Belcher running. It makes me laugh so much. 3 Link to comment
halgia April 7, 2014 Share April 7, 2014 More puns than usual in this one: more burger names than usual (I think?), and a bunch of horses. Gelding the Lily is a great horse name. 1 Link to comment
radishcake April 7, 2014 Share April 7, 2014 In an homage to the “Bronies” subculture, Tina attends her first Equestra-con, a convention based on her favorite animated pony show, “The Equestranauts.” To her surprise, she finds that the show’s fans are middle-aged men (called “Equesticles”). When a powerful super-fan tricks Tina out of her rare toy pony, it’s up to Bob to go undercover to get it back. Link to comment
Iseut April 8, 2014 Share April 8, 2014 And henceforth all bronies shall be known as Equesticles. I flove this show. Can't wait for this episode! 2 Link to comment
tita April 9, 2014 Share April 9, 2014 My fella hasn't stopped making Linda's "psychic images are coming to me" noises at random intervals since we watched this episode. 1 Link to comment

6 MeowMeowBeenz April 14, 2014 Share April 14, 2014 Teddy came close. Fun episode, I do love this show Do you know there is a Cancel Bob's Burgers Facebook page? What is WRONG with those people?? 1 Link to comment
Ltg.jon April 14, 2014 Share April 14, 2014 I loved that Teddy, out of all of them, was the one who knew what was up with the Equesticles. Just when you think he's gonna zig, he zags! 3 Link to comment
halgia April 15, 2014 Share April 15, 2014 Do you know there is a Cancel Bob's Burgers Facebook page? What is WRONG with those people?? This one? ...weird. I did have a conversation with an acquaintance who brought up that she hated Bob's Burgers and all people who liked it. It turned out that she had only seen the pilot, but it still kind of shook my faith in my extended social network's ability to have reasonable taste in things. I loved that Teddy, out of all of them, was the one who knew what was up with the Equesticles. Just when you think he's gonna zig, he zags! Teddy's into a bunch of weird stuff. He's the best. (Has Mort done anything in like a season and a half?) Link to comment
iamdog April 15, 2014 Share April 15, 2014 (edited) Yep Teddy's a dark horse and despite his mundane appearance I think he'd have a lot of fascinating stories to tell. A cancel Bob's Burgers group? Ha! I don't do that twitface stuff but 53 'likes' sounds quite pathetic. I saw some people on twop expressing displeasure at the Napoleon Dynamite toon (which I quite enjoyed) being replaced by BB but to hold a grudge against what is one of the least offensive shows on TV is kinda odd. Anyway this episode told a good story and the lack of a B-plot was not an issue. I particularly liked Gene's helpful comments throughout especially "Take your cyanide capsule!" The convention thing was done well, the $95 saddles (hand stitched!) was spot on and Tina's comment of feeling out of place because "I don't have enough money and I'm not a grown man" was gold! And finally I almost spat my drink out when it was revealed what was so special about Tina's pony - to which she remained blisfully unaware! Edited April 15, 2014 by iamdog 3 Link to comment
6 MeowMeowBeenz April 16, 2014 Share April 16, 2014 Heh. I first though "breaking bad" when I saw BB. I'm sure someone out there is offended by Bob. At least one of those kids will end up gay :) Link to comment
Tara Ariano April 17, 2014 Share April 17, 2014 When Gene, Louise, and Tina discover a valuable whale by-product on the beach, Louise tries to cheat her siblings out of the profit; Bob and Linda deal with their unstable landlord. Link to comment
halgia April 21, 2014 Share April 21, 2014 "He was gonna use that money to go straight – he was gonna open a straight bar!" "Seagulls: SWARM ATTACK!" Didn't love the B-plot with the bathroom, but a really solid A-plot here. 1 Link to comment
beadgirl April 25, 2014 Share April 25, 2014 Good episode. Loved Tina's plan to throw it into the ocean, with Louise and the two guys saying "oh no, please don't" while taking off shoes and preparing to go swimming. But now I wonder: as it is illegal to possess or trade ambergris in the US, what can you do with it if you actually find some on a beach? Link to comment
iamdog April 27, 2014 Share April 27, 2014 I'm just surprised that Gene didn't start frying things in that oil as soon as the poo-goo went in it! Link to comment

Grammaeryn April 29, 2014 Share April 29, 2014 I liked that Linda basically said, "Yes, Bob, my side of the family is nuts. Now, move on." And then she laughed maniacally just like Louise. That made me howl with laughter (I fully acknowledge I bring the crazy with my family). Link to comment
radishcake April 30, 2014 Share April 30, 2014 Tina decides to try out for the cheerleading squad, but it’s actually Gene who gets noticed in the crowd for his spirit and cheering ability. Meanwhile, during her cheer audition, Tina falls and bites her tongue, leaving her unable to speak – and a mischievous Louise steps up to be her translator. Link to comment
arachne May 5, 2014 Share May 5, 2014 Gene: I'm here! To cheer! Get used to it! Awesome. 3 Link to comment
