Could this whole thing that's been happening been done for the show? Or at least extremely exaggerated? Because I really can't see any network showing minor children in this situation without getting a whole lot of backlash.

My guess is backlash or any other public talk about the show equals more viewers.    All they care about are the number of viewers, because that translates into advertiser dollars.

Yup, WE TV seems to be a bottom feeder type network that carries mostly trashy reality shows and Law and Order reruns so I don't think they give a rip about anything but getting eyeballs on their shows. They will most likely put a disclaimer at the beginning of the show to cover their asses.

I saw the commercial Friday night.  Alana eating a bowl of Cocoa Puffs (of course) and on the side of the milk carton was Mama June's mug shot.  It was disgusting they are still running this, disgusting that this whole thing is a storyline and it's even disgusting that Alana is still eating processed bowls of sugar.  I know that's small in the grand scheme of things but she's headed straight for My 600lb Life if she keeps this up.

That sounds like more mythology from June. There is no way Queen of the Grifters is not getting paid for appearing on a show that bears her own name.

They claim that June will only be shown in clips that are public access, so she won't be paid. 

If anyone believes that, then I have ocean front property in Arizona for sale.  

Other shows have claimed they weren't paying guests, but actually paid a family member that gave the money to the person later.  (Not a WE show).

Thanks, @Armchair Critic . Yeah, not buying it from TMZ. That story reeks of being planted and paid for -- much like a Kardashian who's got TMZ on speed dial so they can "catch" them being at a gym doing squats and, two weeks later, try to pass of their butt implants as the result of all their hard "workouts."

June and her love muffin were at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, FL., it has a huge casino, so I guess that's the main attraction.    Someone was very quick to say that the couple aren't staying there, but somewhere in Boca Raton.      Bet the couple are on the banned list for every decent motel on the planet by now.

I saw a preview where June was being interviewed on camera. She is absolutely being paid to participate in whatever We is serving up this season because that meth head isn't doing anything for free. She's been a grifter all of her life and isn't gonna stop now.

Mama June's kids are following suit in going from not to hot ... because we've learned they recently went under the knife for a slew of plastic surgeries.

Sources close to the family tell TMZ ... two of June's kids, Anna Cardwell and Jessica Shannon, ventured to Los Angeles Friday for extensive cosmetic procedures ... and it cost a small fortune.

Anna's plastic surgeries included a breast lift and implants -- going from a B cup to a D cup -- courtesy of Dr. Michael K. Obeng. She also got 16 veneers from Dr. Aamir Wahab. All told, Anna's tab ran $47,450.

We're told Anna wants to feel good after having two kids and going through a divorce ... and she felt going under the knife in Bev Hills was the way to go.

As for Jessica, our sources say she was 230 lbs and now down to 185 lbs after getting a weight loss balloon in her stomach from Dr. Samuel Kashani. Other observations: 

* It's quite clear that June IS getting paid to participate in this show. She's being interviewed and followed by camera crews. She is NOT doing this free.

* They need to immediately change the name of this show to: From Hot to Not to Truck Stop Hooker

* Funny how the "Geno Crashes Car Into House" and "Honey Boo Boo Pretends to Snort Coke" former TMZ headline stories have made their way into the show. It's almost as if they were...plotted that way.
