AGGH!  Excuse me, but what's this about Yolanda getting rid of all her fillings?  Or her teeth?  I think I've read every single post in this thread, but I don't remember reading that one.  That's bizarre unless she has some allergy to fillings.  If she really plans on doing this, I'd say she needs mental help even more than I thought.  Cosmetics are full of all sorts of junk, so going without makeup is reasonable if she's determined to, but fillings?  Teeth?  There are allergies to fillings, but she'd have had those when the fillings were put in.  Will someone please tell me that this is a joke?  THANK YOU.

If she's replacing fillings, it's about the mercury that's released from old fillings - they have them replaced with newer technology (mercury free) fillings. A lot of people have this done and it requires a dentist who knows how to do it.

Nexxie, thanks again.  Now I remember reading about the mercury a long time ago, but it slipped my mind.  I don't see anything particularly wrong with having this procedure done, and if it makes her feel better, then so much the better.

There are at least 80 photos documenting Yolanda in bed taking various medical treatments. She has to be getting her whole families attention with her Lymes disease prognosis and it's resulting effects on her health. Her husband David appears sympathetic though his career forces him to leave his family and fly all over the world with various artists. I would guess her health regiment is very costly and they seem to have put their spectacular home up for sale. Who knows maybe he'd like to retire one day but can't due to their lifestyle and her disease? They may have decided to downsize their life to make adjustments for her health and to enable him to slow down and spend more time with Yolanda.

Her health storyline appears to take a devastating turn for the worst when it comes to her fellow cast member's suspicions. Though I wouldn't doubt viewers have also had enough!

Looks like a dozen vacutainers for blood tests, no wonder she feels weak.

Your right there really are so many tubes full of blood. It has to effect her. This was before they found her breast implants were leaking. Hopefully she's doing better now.

America has the best doctors money can buy, and she's got lots of money. She should just find the top Lyme disease specialist in the USA and follow his/her advice. That specialist will have far less of an incentive to string her along compared to a doctor in China. I'd kill to see a pragmatic Dutch no nonsense doctor evaluate the allegedly "pragmatic, no nonsense" Yolanda.

The "treatments" she's on can't be much fun. If she remains "uncured" and feeling like shit, this might not be the most appropriate thing to do, but just give her some uppers, downers and opiates, and send her on her way.

This is ridiculous! The photo above looks composed, as if it were an advertisement for a hospital or something. I just can't with this upcoming season of RHoBH, not if it's going to feature Yolanda who is "sick" because she can't accept that leaky fake boobs, menopause, and fears that her husband will dump her for a younger woman are what's actually causing her anxiety and other symptoms.

Edited later to add: I know I sound harsh, but I'm fed up with these focuses on illness and the big focus on Brooks' cancer foolishness on RHoOC this past season, not to mention all the silly "treatments" we saw with Shannon. I wasn't planning to watch Bev Hills this season and reading about and seeing these photos from Yolanda just seals it for me. I'm tired of rich ladies and their quack medical stuff!

I'm flipping channels between the American Music Awards and the Green Bay/Minnesota game.  Gigi was on the red carpet and she's had her hair chopped off to about chin length.  Not good, imo.  I'm surprised her agency approved that.  She just signed with Victoria's Secret and long, just-got-rolled-in-the-hay hair is de rigueur.  There are always extensions but why cut it when she had all that gorgeous thick hair??

Plentiful, wavy, glorious hair is wasted on the young and, apparently, guys. It's not fair how good the hair is on some of these football players. Not fair.

I really thought that Gigi looked great with her bob but she said it was "hair magic" by the beauty squad she uses.  The outfit however, yikes, pure Vegas street walker.

Ya know, I just magnified the picture of her short hair and if you look at the ends, they're really uneven.  Now I think she didn't cut it.  Somehow they pinned up (?) the long hair in the back to match the length of the shorter layers she already had in front. Hair magic!  If she'd cut it, I'd think the ends would be more precision cut.

I follow Yolanda on Instagram and definitely think it's a fake-out thanks to her hashtag she posted with GiGi's pic that read #JustOneNightBob. No way I believe that Gigi would possibly screw up her modeling contracts thanks to a hastily done crazy bob, plus there's too many hair tricks teams love to dream up like the old "short hair scare" stuff.

I remember when Tamra from OC showed up to WWHL with a similar look, only to proudly admit that her "team" had simply pinned up her hair's ends to give her a sudden bob just for that night; talk about a fun way to change your look up, eh?

Hopefully the constant styling that GiGi's long gorgeous hair endures daily won't force her to cut it due to damage though; Yo's kids definitely hit the genetic lottery lookswise.

Apparently she didn't.  According to Liz Hernandez who interviewed her, she saw that she had her hair tucked up in the back.  I did like what she was wearing.  You do have to wonder, though, would Gigi and Kendal have been as successful in the modeling industry if they didn't have a 'connection' to Hollywood (you all know what I mean).  I think not.  I'm not saying that they're not attractive or anything but they both have more 'recognition' with some of the public which gives who they're working with more media coverage.

I did a double-take when I saw this picture of Gigi with her hair cut short and straggly.  IMHO, it looks like it was cut with a lawnmower.  I don't care for the dress either.  It shows too much for my tastes.  It really slays me that these silly designers have to cut mammoth holes out of a perfectly nice dress to make some kind of a "statement!"  What's the statement, anyway?  Who dares to show more?  I like Gigi, but she's like a sheep following the others with her clothing choices -- or her "team" is.

Gigi's dress is actually outdated.  Frontal cut-outs are out; now, it's side cut-outs that are in.  (Oh, brother!)  Even Kaitlyn Jenner is wearing dresses with the side cut-outs so we can see her girls from the side view!!!  I think it's hysterical!  lol

If others have done this "trick" with their hair, maybe Gigi posed like this as a joke?  Yo's tweet made it sound like it.  I like Gigi, though.  I think she's a lot like her mother in that she looks like a million dollars when she's all dressed up and ordinary when she's not.  I also feel that she seems devoid of a big ego so far.  She seems like a very nice girl.

Re the girls being famous if not for their parents, I think the designers love using them so that they get more press. I've also noticed that the celebramodels are often the most undressed with mainly nipple displays on the runway to also garner press.

If the Zayn Malik rumours are true, Gigi is walking a very fine line. The fickle judgmental masses can turn against her in an instant if she appears to be in these relationships for the perceived PR benefits. Space 'em out.

There's about 7 cases per 10 million people each year in Los Angeles County. The odds of this particular disease affecting a Los Angeles mother and 2 out of 3 of her children seem incredibly low, even taking into account the horse riding. CDC says that in 2012 were a total of 61 confirmed cases for the entire state of California and none of those were in Los Angeles County.

"Manure" is such a perfect word to use.  I can almost smell it!  Especially with this horse-loving crowd.  It reminds me of Ree Drummond, who walks blithely through the cow patties on the ranch, then returns to the kitchen to resume cooking!  BLECH!!!

I think it's 100% possible for all three members of this family to come down with Lyme disease.  If they dared to go public with a lie like this, you know there would be people out to prove them wrong, and if all this turned out to be a lie, it would  ruin three careers, and they could kiss David goodbye.  In my wildest imaginings, I can't see them daring to pull something off like this.  I think they'd all have to be certifiably insane.

Having three people in the same family all infected with the same disease is a huge stroke of bad luck, but it does make for some good snark!  Why, I don't know, but it does!  :)  Does anyone know whether there's a discount on medications if ordered three at a time?  If none of them can think straight, what are their conversations like?  :)  *snicker*

Didn't Kim go horseback riding with Yolanda?  Maybe her alcoholism isn't really alcoholism but Chronic Lyme Disease.  I think Yolanda is easily suggestible and when main stream doctors can't fix malaise or her plethora of complaints she went look for answers and may have been misdirected.  She seems to have had every treatment known to man.  Oh except leeches - maybe Heather can hook her up.

Uh-huh. So now the DUI was really a crash because of Lyme Disease? Didn't they do a breathalyzer on this chick? Wasn't there a long letter from Yolanda to Bella about what a huge disappointment she is and a detailed list of the crap in Bella's car, including empty beer cans or something? Joints? Come. On.

Yo found herself a Dr who will just go along with the Lyme Dx. 3 in one family. Ok.

I wonder if chronic Lyme disease will gain acceptance like chronic fatigue syndrome has now. It just seems hunky that they all have it. Why don't the kids undergo all the treatments. Will the girls not get breast and implants now?

I doubt Yolanda will eschew all makeup and hair treatments though there are more natural choices available. My sil is a naturopathic doctor who won't take antibiotics but she still gets injections, fillers and has breast implants. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Even if, by some stroke of astronomical statistical odds, ticks carrying Lyme bit 3/4 of the Hadid household, you'd have to multiply those odds even more since all 3 were nominally asymptomatic and rash-free at first. We're talking around 1 in 30 million at best which, of course, is medically equal to 0. The fact also remains that chronic Lyme is unrecognized by most medical practitioners. Who are you going to believe, guys, the CDC or your lying eyes? And that Bella and Anway may believe themselves afflicted is not a matter of craziness on their part; let's hazard a guess who directs their healthcare and makes their consultation appointments. What a coincidence, though, that Bella is opening up about her struggles now, right around the time that the season in which her mother's contentions garner scrutiny begins airing!

It's the Lyme related brain damage, you know. She forgot that she was too young to drink and she definitely forgot that you can't drink and drive. Damn Lyme disease.

There was also a secondary message that Bella couldn't ride in the Olympics because of CLD so choose modeling but couldn't work more than a few shows because she was ill. I figured that was added to give an excuse why Bella wasn't as successful as her sister. A poster up line mentioned that they felt Yolanda's CLD was an excuse for any lack of perfection on her part and boy did this new info about Bella bring that home.

Her daughter Gigi calls when she’s waking up. Gigi is riding her horse. She explains that she’s feeling weak and ate half an almond. Yolanda advises her to eat two almonds and chew them slowly. Wow. Just wow. Unless I missed something, I’m worried for young GiGi. Two almonds? Again – wow.

Excerpt--

Yolanda was getting some flak on Twitter and in the blogs because she and Gigi only took a teeny nibble of a cake crumb. Yolanda wanted us all to see why. It was all in the name of a modeling gig – and a pretty big one! Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition big!

Yolanda writes, "This is why @GiGiHadid choose 2 have a small bite of her cake and I supported her by example #dedicated #committed".

First is it was Bella did not have enough horses and Yolanda did not want to lay out an additional $400,000.00 a year that was stunting Bella's riding career.  Maybe Bella just isn't an Olympic caliber rider.  We only have her word that she turned down all these modeling jobs.  I personally find her interesting looking but think she has the jobs she does because of her celebrity.

Another observation-just recently Yolanda has changed from Yolanda Foster to Yolanda Hadid Foster.  How very Kris Jenner of her.

I have to say that it doesn't surprise me that multiple family members can contract Lyme.  It's more likely.   They live in the same area and probably have similar exposure.  According the Lyme map for CA, there are ticks that carry the disease:

http://cdphgis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/SocialMedia/index.html?appid=8d99fb1135d1424f9d8a8711acb7d459

Two people in my family have had Lyme (granted we live in a Lyme endemic area) and all of us have had multiple tick bites.  I've been treated three times with a mega dose of doxycycline  because I went to the doctor as soon as I found the tick on me.

Now, with that said, it surprises me that they 'all' have 'chronic Lyme'.  Chronic Lyme is not the norm for the disease and their symptoms are not because of infection but rather, damage to the tissues, which will recover in time.    Too much antibiotics can be extremely detrimental.  Unfortunately, Yolanda wants instant results and IMO has done herself more harm than good.  I just hope she's not putting her kids through this and that they have gone through the normal course of drugs (including if it's serious enough, a course of IV rocephin) and then given time for the body to recover.  And it can take time.  And most importantly, a healthy normal diet.  I wonder how much damage her lemon cleanses have done to her impaired immune system.

No surprise that now the DUI had something to do with 'chronic Lyme'.  Yeah. Sure.  Because somehow Lyme increases your BAC.  It'll be called the Lyme Defense.

No surprise Yo is now Yo Hadid Foster.  It's ironic she's now latching onto her daughters' fame since she was semi famous before her daughter.  Yo would LOVE to have a reality show about her and her brood....  She'd have even more miraculous periodic recoveries from her 'Chronic Lyme'.

Just wanted to add:  If any of you out there reading this are suffering from chronic Lyme, I mean you no disrespect.  IMO, there are cases of Lyme that cause immense damage to the body.  I believe that the symptoms that happens to the body after serious Lyme are not a result of a continuous infection but rather, a result of damage and in most cases, can be healed.  Also, I come from a place of being a parent of child who had a serious case of Neurological Lyme Disease.  I wish the best to all of you who may be dealing with this.

Wishing you and your child the best in fighting Lyme Disease. I also live in a Lyme Disease epidemic area on Long Island, NY. I was told a moist winter increases their number. We live on a large wooded property with lots of critters including rabbits, deer, squirrels, chip monks and raccoons. This spring, the worst ever tick season since 1978, my son found 14 ticks crawling on him and had four bites. Each time going in for medical treatment. He has an artificial knee so he was very concerned. After having the property professionally sprayed with a nontoxic garlic mixture once a month for July, August and September the property is tick free. In addition to the land, every tree from top to bottom was also sprayed. I'm sure all the critters appreciated it. Never saw a tick again since the first spray treatment. I believe a natural, safe way is the most advantageous to reduce the threat of Lyme Disease and we will begin spraying at the end of May next spring. Hopefully Yolanda talks about how to reduce the threat of Lyme Disease in addition to raising money to find a cure.

Edited to add: The garlic spray seemed to have worked on mosquitoes also. We got through the summer without one mosquito bite! :-)

I wonder how David feels about Yo adding her ex-husband's name. How transparent.

*********

This is only my humble opinion, but I would think that David would be fine with it.  David is older now, not prone to the jealousies of youth.  He knows that Mohammed and Yolanda had three children together, two of whom look very much like him in a foreign way.  Using her Hadid name is a hint that she was married previously.

Another factor that makes me think this way is that Mohammed was very good to Yolanda, financially and otherwise, despite his restless nature with other women.  Finally, Mohammed is a powerful man with all of his wealth, and if Yo is being practical, she's going to hang onto that name and all that it means.  I think that part of the respect we see Mohammed having for Yolanda is that she brings honor to his name.  It's obvious that the two are still close.  But as long as Yolanda continues to call David her "King," how can he possibly doubt her?  At least, that's how I see it.  :)

Thank you, zoeysmom.  You must have read my mind and was able to state it much more briefly than I could.  I believe the last time Bella was a nationally ranked rider was in 2012 when she was a junior rider.  I happened to read an ESPN link and the first comment from a USEF member was not kind.  It's kind of the equivalent of faking credentials - and I'm not sure Bella actually said that in an interview - maybe she said it was a dream of hers to ride in the Olympics and the reporter took it from there.  There are many more talented riders with unlimited funds that won't even come close to making the team.  It's a real slippery slope that Yolanda, et.al, are climbing by not correcting the inaccuracy.

Yikes!  I didn't start catching up on this thread until a few weeks ago and saw that Yolanda had leaking breast implants - it's just hard to fathom.   Sometimes it's a matter of what came first - chicken vs. egg.  A friend of mine was diagnosed with Lyme and before he had a chance to begin his antibiotics, he had a severe gallbladder attack (no previous problems) and had to have it removed.   Only after that did he respond to the Lyme treatment.  So it would be interesting if any of the doctors have figured out if the leaking was happening before the tick bite, or whether the tick bite and the Lyme infection triggered the leaking.  Bottom line, all of the alternative treatments Yolanda sought and her poor dietary habits, could have just made things worse.  I'm still amazed that no doctor made the connection for a while.  But then again, Yolanda seemed to be all over the place.

Breezy, I agree with your take on Yolanda.  It's troubling that she's now blaming the DUI on CLD instead of accepting that her child made an irresponsible decision (and got caught quite publicly).  Are the Lyme toxins in California ticks more virulent than East Coast ticks?  I'm just surprised that the children had such a bad case of Lyme that they are still chronically suffering.

So many good comments here.  I'm leaving it at something's off with Yolanda and I'm not a fan.
