the Wall Street journal report on Biden, being even more decrepit then we thought.

I have no doubt the majority of the ladies will put the kibosh on that topic during the pre-show meeting and it'll never be discussed on air.  And I say that as a Joe Biden fan, but I think it's a newsworthy topic that should be discussed.

Just over the weekend think about how many topics of conversation they already have: Trump wanting to buy Greenland again and him wanting to get back the Panama Canal, the report on Matt Gaetz and the Wall Street journal report on Biden, being even more decrepit then we thought.🤯

Yes! So many chances for the panelists to misinform and disinform with mischaracterizations, obfuscation and misunderstanding.

I can see Joy and Ana say fuck this I don't need this.

Well, I don't think they plan to stop criticizing decisions made, but at the same time they probably know they don't really need to talk about it that much considering blowback will come in '26 and '28 with or without them having talked about it all as much as they could have. The show has already made the co-hosts bite their tongues in response to McCain's toxic, harassing behavior and then again when they hired someone who worked for Trump who helped him get re-elected by issuing out as much disinformation as possible with this show as her platform.

Sort of funny this show is always labeled a "liberal" show, but the show is always coddling the conservative co-hosts, the conservative guests, asking the liberal co-hosts to play with kids gloves or put on a fake show of friendship, ignore the elephant in the room, and on and on. Iger probably would like to keep Disney out of any possible quagmire, but it's sort of pointless... A show that talks about politics daily can't exactly talk about politics without talking about the president, LOL.

When Meghan McCain there was so much they didn't talk about.  One big one was  repealing the ACA.  Meghan's dad had been the deciding vote that killed the repeal effort before Meghan joined the show but Meghan herself was a good little Republican foot soldier and was against the ACA.  I'm sure Meghan didn't want to be seen publicly disagreeing with her dad.

They even went so far as to scrub any video of Elisabeth and her worst moments.

Respectfully disagree. Whoopi & Joy have been known to walk off the set when they disagreed with conservatives. Was it Bill O'Reilly and someone else?? And they practically threw Judge Jeanine off the show midway through her interview by going to commercial. When they returned from commercial, Jeanine was nowhere to be found.

Jeanine Pirro had her full segment... Whoopi just told her to GTFO when she threw a fit with the behind-the-scenes people afterwards. From what I recall, Pirro was already angry before the interview because Joy wasn't there for her to attack the day she was on, lol.

Still unprofessional IMO. They knew JJ's politics, so why bother asking her to be on their show if they're not going to allow JJ to speak her mind?

I'd say Pirro was the unprofessional one there? She came on looking for a moment and when she didn't get one on-air, she threw a tantrum afterwards.

As for O'Reilly, I seem to recall Joy and Whoopi were made to apologize... Was McCain made to apologize for the red carpet-length list of things she did to both co-hosts and guests, like cursing Joy and Brian out or chasing Abby off the show? Leaking to the press so she could then whine that there were leaks to supposedly make her look bad and self-victimize? Or Elisabeth with how openly rude she was to Kathy Griffin even? (Griffin enjoyed the drama of course, that doesn't mean it wasn't unprofessional on Elisabeth's end.) I believe she was made to apologize to Erin Andrews at least, but to be fair Elisabeth never did the kinds of things McCain did, although it was still always clear the producer favored her and Sherri had to act like they were friends for the camera the same way Sunny and Joy were told to do with McCain. I expect once Alyssa no longer works there, we'll find out that Sunny was forced to do the same with her. I don't recall things like that ever happening in reverse. Alyssa, Elisabeth, Candace, McCain always seemed allowed--sometimes encouraged--to show their disdain of the others openly. Paula and Abby were the only conservatives who were ever friendly to the others, largely because being nice / polite was their real personality.

Exactly! IRC, weren't Joy and Whoopi scolded by Barbara? Plus, to my knowledge, the walk-off was a one-time incident that occurred 15 years ago, and Orielly's phrasing was offensive. It's not like this is a pattern.

Has anyone else heard about the possible all conservative talk show being created (?)   Rob Schneider that is rumored to be running at the same time slot?

I was watching a YouTube channel that  talks about The View and she seemed to have some insight that it was going to happen and perhaps started during summer with the hope of affecting The Views return after summer.
First of all referring to Rob Schneider as a  comedian was a laugh in itself. Who would be interested in being hosts? Get all the previous conservative hosts together or throw in a KellyAnne Conway ( is she still around?)  and don’t think Candice Owen’s would share a microphone.  Good  luck Rob one more nomination for worst of awards.

Don't they already have such a thing 24 hours a day? That's exactly what Faux News "presenters" do 24 hours a day, just give their overbearing opinions & dress it up as "news". They have "The Five" at, I think, 5pm or so where they sit around a table spouting bullshit & they even have a poor excuse for a Democrat who is allowed to speak once every fifteen minutes just to get laughed at by the others. The only difference I see is that Alyssa is actually allowed her say & doesn't get much in the way of push back or being laughed at, oh & the fact that if she actually shut up once every fifteen minutes we would all be a little happier.
