Even when she chose to side with the Governor, I understood WHY she did it.  I understood that she was tired of living on the run and wanted hot showers, decent food and sex with a good looking man who wasn't ALWAYS crazy.

Exactly! The whole setup - the town, the food, the amenties and yeah, the attention from an attractive man, were all extremely seductive and that is all she saw. Why would she turn all that down after nearly dying out in the open? It all made perfect sense to me and I would have done the same thing.

I read an article about this and I enjoyed it. It harkens back to the days when we had characters we knew. Now? I know little about anyone and care less about them:

Quote

Andrea fell for the Governor. He helped rescue her at her lowest point. He provided comfort and shelter after a terrible winter. Andrea was on death’s door when she arrived at Woodbury.

From the outset, fans of the comics knew the governor was no good. He is a dark character with a flawed personality. He is a psychopath. He kept walkers heads in fish tanks.

But Andrea didn’t know this. She only saw the charismatic side to the governor. Sure, he could be cold and crass at times, but he put on the air of someone in charge. He was able to bring together a bunch of survivors and keep them safe. Only a select few knew about some of the darker things he did. And Andrea only saw the good side of him.

As before, Andrea was scared and saw someone who she was both attracted to and could help her regain some semblance of her life.

Yes, fans of the comic books know lots of things I didn't know since I never heard of the comic books and have no interest in reading them.

Maybe Connie will appear right at that time and she and Daryl will have a 'reunion'.  And Carol can get with Negan, who probably hasn't washed the Alpha off yet.

I hope she didn't lose her pencil and notebook during the chaos. Maybe Daryl will have to learn to show and not tell. Oh wait - "tell" was never in his repertoire either.

From TSDF Army: Q&AS10.E14: "Look at the Flowers"

Quote

1.) Are the groups still separated?

Everyone who was at Hilltop still seems to be there, and Hilltop is the only community we see.

2.) Does anyone learn about Michonne leaving to find Rick? If so, what are their reactions?

No.

3.) Is Carol dreaming or hallucinating when she sees Alpha in the woods? Does she have more of these dreams/hallucinations?

I should say neither, because I think this is meant to be more of a conversation that Carol has with herself. Yes, it continues throughout the episode, until she resolves it. "Alpha" taunts her about her life, how she's lost everyone no matter what she did, and her end is inevitable.

4.) Why is Carol alone in the woods? What’s inside the cabin she’s approaching?

She tells Negan that she needs to be alone. A boat, apparently. When she's trying to get it off a shelf, it falls, and the roof of the cabin collapses with it, trapping Carol underneath. A walker starts coming in, she frees herself and kills it. This gets "Alpha" to disappear.

5.) What is the deal made between Carol and Negan? Does she keep her word?

Carol says that if Negan kills Alpha, she will make sure the people remembers him for that and not the other stuff. Not exactly, because she leaves to be on her own. It's Daryl who ends up finding Negan and hearing his story first.

6.) Does someone say "Look at the Flowers" in this episode? Who?

Yes. Hallucination Alpha to Carol, as she's trapped under debris and a walker is approaching.

7.) What's going on with Lydia? Does she know Alpha is dead?

Lydia is not in this episode.

8.) What happens with Negan and Daryl?

Negan goes to the other cabin to get Lydia but finds Daryl instead. He takes him to the spikes where he and Carol had put Alpha's head, but since Beta took it in the meantime, it's no longer there. While Negan is trying to convince Daryl of his good intentions, some Whisperers arrive with guns and say that they are there to kneel to the new Alpha. Needless to say, all this is very amusing to Negan. He then kills the Whisperers instead.

9.) Do Daryl and Carol interact in this episode? If so, what happens during their scenes?

Once. After freeing herself from the debris at the cabin, Carol comes back to Hilltop. Daryl lets her in, they don't speak to each other.

10.) Why do Yumiko and Ezekiel decide to join Eugene on his journey to meet Stephanie?

No specific reason is mentioned.

11.) What happens during Yumiko, Ezekiel, and Eugene’s journey? Do they make it?

Ezekiel is not feeling well. He feels like giving up after his horse dies, saying maybe he's not strong enough to make the journey. Yumiko tells him that they need the man who built a Kingdom during the apocalypse by their side. Yes, they do make it.

12.) Do they meet Princess?

Yes! She's in this weird place where everyone (walkers) is either tied or handcuffed asis, while they were going about their lives. This is where they see the policewalker.

13.) Do we learn Connie's fate?

No.

14.) What is Beta’s reaction to Alpha’s death? What is his plan now that she’s gone?

So, Beta actually takes up about a third of the episode. It is revealed that he has some sort of a secret hideout where there's a bed, a guitar, a record player and his records. He's Half Moon, country singer. He brings Alpha's head here in a sack, and has a fit of rage, smashing his guitar. Then, he puts on a live recording of his, and goes out onto the balcony to see hundreds of walkers gathering outside. Afterwards, he thanks Alpha's head and drives a blade into it, goes out the front door, straight into the walkers, and starts leading them.

15.) We see Beta walking with a guy in a red shirt in promo pictures. Who is he and what happens to him?

He's a random Whisperer who makes the mistake of telling Beta that he's the new Alpha. Beta has Alpha's head bite this guy's ear off, and then has him killed by walkers.

16.) How does the episode end?

With Beta, how I described in Q14.

17.) Anything else interesting?

I'm going to have to say no.This was a bit of an uneventful episode, but still a good one.

So more Beta and yet another new random weirdo.  Sigh.

She tells Negan that she needs to be alone.

So not only are we back to her tedious Greta Garbo schtick but she tells this to Mr. Sensitive? Who writes this shit? If there were still psychologists/mental health professionals around they would judge Carol to be clinically insane and it's not entertaining. Too bad she ran out of pills.

More hallucinations? Really? Are we going to have episodes of each person hallucinating?

At first I thought they were refering to Virginia from FTWD...😱  She's not, few!!!!

For those who don't know Virginia, as a character she is worst than Alpha,  special mention for the accent.

You think I am kidding?  Just try 1 minute of her:

TSDF Army posted this about the news that the season finale will be delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.  Regular airing of the season will end with Episode 15, with Episode 16 to be shown at some undetermined later date.  Media articles are in the Media thread reflecting that FTWD and World Beyond will also be delayed.

Quote

We have been asked to confirm whether or not the Season 10 finale airing will be delayed. Yes, it will air later this year. Yes, it has already been filmed but the post production for the episode has NOT been completed. All of the articles say the same thing.

We are bummed too, but realize and agree that the cast, crew and all of the TWD Family's health and safety is the priority.

I'm  so thankful I never watched even a minute of any of these $pinoff$. That woman's voice (not to mention her horrible acting) could peel paint. And what happened to Dwight? Did he die and come back as a ghost instead of a walker? Lad is lookin' a mite pale. 😮

Michonne fans rejoice,

“Now that Michonne has been put on the path to track him down, it feels fair to assume that Danai Gurira will appear in at least one or more of those movies — though all parties involved are stopping short of confirming the exact specifics of Gurira's feature film involvement.

"Is it fair to assume? It's definitely fair to assume that," Gimple tells THR. "There might even be her own story along the way”

I agree that Season 11 has been better than the last few seasons. I just don't see where else they're going to go with this,

Spoiler

and when they go past the comics, we're going to see just how bad they are at writing.

The first couple of episodes weren't terrible, relatively speaking, but this seems like it bodes well for the future? This caricature, this sassy, feisty Mary Sue, this fodder for bad fanfic writers? But I'll put judgment on the back burner.

I'm liking Beta almost more than I like anyone else at this point. His "Prepare the guardians" sounds so much like, "Release the Kraken."

Newest The Walking Dead Star Fell Down Crying When She Won Princess Role

I can see that happening a lot next Sunday.

Lázaro's co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan, called the character's surprise appearance "one of the greatest character introductions I've ever seen on this show."

That’s sealed it then.

From TSDF Army:
S10.E15: The Tower

Quote

1. Where did everyone from Alexandria go? How do they know the horde is coming?

They all packed up and went to an abandoned hospital, which, for some reason, they keep calling "the tower." I'm not sure why, but the two have to be the same place because the EMERGENCY sign is shown to be on the main building, where they are, but at the same time, inside the building, Negan makes a direct comment on "moving to an abandoned tower."

2. Is Negan now being accepted by the Alexandrians? Does someone vouch for him?

This isn't a specific topic. He's shown cooking, but he has no dialogue with anyone but Lydia.

3. Does Judith tell anyone about Michonne leaving to find Rick? What are their reactions?

I don't think she told anyone. She tells Daryl that she spoke to Michonne after the fire and that she said she has to go help some people she met because they need her. Judith says nothing further about this, so I got the impression that up until that point, she hadn't told Daryl about her convo with Michonne at all.

4. What’s Judith and Daryl doing out in the woods?

Judith tells him that she wants to learn what he does. Then, she gets upset over a Whisperer that Daryl abandons in a ditch. She tells Daryl she wants to be back home with her family. She's worried Michonne isn't coming back and she's worried Daryl would leave too. He tells her he can't promise otherwise because he can't lie to her, but that she has a whole lot of family back home. I think Daryl has some great lines in this scene.

5. What is Lydia doing in this episode? How does she react to Alpha’s death? Is Negan the one to tell her?

She's busy sulking at the hospital. We don't see her first reaction because she seems to already know. But she's upset at Negan for trying to dictate her how she should be feeling or reacting. After snapping at him, he holds her and comforts her.

6. What do Judith and Lydia talk about?

Judith tells her she's sorry about her mother's death, asks her if she misses her. Lydia tells her that not everyone gets to have a mom like Judith's.

7. Is Doggo still a good boy?

VERY! He gets so many pettings from Carol.

8. Do Carol and Daryl talk? What do they discuss?

They have no dialogue in this episode. Daryl is outside the whole time.

9. What happens with Aaron and Alden in the windmill?

They are spying on Beta and the horde, making sure they are still headed for Oceanside, as expected. They stay on their tail to make sure they are on track, but when Beta and the horde change course, Aaron and Alden are apparently captured by the Whisperers.

10. Does anyone die? How?

Daryl kills a Whisperer who has left the group on her own because she thinks Beta has "lost it" after what happened to Alpha. She begs Daryl to let her turn, but Daryl kills her because she has no useful information to give them.

11. What is Beta’s plan? Does he make it to Oceanside?

We don't know. He seems to hear walkers talking to him in his head. He doesn't make it to Oceanside because he decides that they are not foolish and that they are expecting them, so they end up changing course for the hospital.

12. Do we learn anything about Connie’s fate?

No.

13. Is Daryl aware that Magna made it out of the cave?

This is not shown but I think he must be because Magna is at the hospital too. I assume Daryl also got there with everyone and then left by himself to walk the perimeter.

14. Is there a plan in place on how to deal with Beta and the horde?

Yes, but we never find out what it is because apparently the plan needs the horde to be at Oceanside, but Beta changes direction and that's that.

15. What’s up with Princess in this episode? Do Eugene, Yumiko, and Ezekiel let her join them?

Princess decides to take a detour and gets the gang in a mine field because she was having too much fun and didn't want it to end. Obviously, it backfires. She also promises them transportation, "wheels" which turn out to be bicycles. She gets on Yumiko's last nerve and has an arrow pointed at her face, so she tells them that she was just too scared they'd leave again. Eugene sympathizes with her and in the end, it's Yumiko who asks her to join them.

16. What happens during their journey?

We leave things off with them once they ask Princess to join them. We don't see the rest of the journey.

17. Do they finally meet Stephanie? If so, what is she like?

No.

18. Anything else interesting?

- Carol and Kelly go outside to get some wiring from a car for Luke who is busy building something because "everyone is counting on him." Once outside on the road and inside the car, Carol apologizes to Kelly. Kelly says she believes Connie is alive and that she understands why Carol did all of it.

- There's a cat in this episode and I think we're led to believe that the poor thing is the reason why Beta realizes that everyone is at the hospital. He sees the cat running in the forest and starts going off about "faith" and "reward." I think they follow the cat to the hospital.

And that's it, folks, since we currently don't have a season finale scheduled because of coronavirus production delays.

These anonymous strangers need her more than do her friends and her own children. How altruistic. There is danger all around. Both kids could have died in that fire, or been eaten by zombies or killed by the skinfaces, etc., but oh, well. They'll be fine.

Show? Seriously? You really don't need to decimate characters to this degree just because they're leaving the show. Honestly, you don't.

A graph created by Bo McCready shows Season 7 episode 6, "Swear," is the lowest-rated episode from all ten seasons of The Walking Dead. On IMDb, "Swear" has a 5.6 rating determined by 11,558 user votes.

Swear" finds Tara (Alanna Masterson) and Heath (Corey Hawkins) at the end of a two-week scouting mission in search of supplies. When Tara is separated from Heath by walkers, she meets Cyndie (Sydney Park), Rachel (Mimi Kirkland) and Natania (Deborah May) of the secluded Oceanside, an all-female community situated near a beach. Tara promises to keep the existence of the community secret despite needing weapons to combat the Saviors, who Tara learns killed girlfriend Denise (Merritt Weaver) and friends Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (Steven Yeun) when she returns home to Alexandria.

Besides the introduction of Oceanside, who would later prove themselves to be allies to Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) band of survivors, "Swear" is notable for making the current last appearance of Heath, who disappears almost without a trace: at the close of the episode, Tara discovers Heath's broken glasses, their RV missing, and a mysterious card reading "PPP."

I seem to remember that being a very ‘Oh Please’ episode, showing contrived danger at its very worst. It was popular amongst the boys on the old forum because Tara did a lot of running and jumping over cars 😋

My posts are moving around 😧

“Oh. Never heard of him. Redshirt?”

Daniel’ was the first person from Kingdom we saw and one of the two guys who took Carol to Kingdom after she was shot twice by ‘Roman’, one of the Saviours. Who followed her after she shot his guys in the pickup, when she had the machine gun sewn in her sleeve. Daniel died when he threw himself on Ezekiel to save him from the .50 Cal ambush. Some of that must ring a bell  🤔
