TeeVee329 January 21, 2015 Share January 21, 2015 Dante hasn't been around for any of the Bill Eckert Info Dumps, right? So maybe it's going to turn out he knows Bill from back in the day or some such garbage. 1 Link to comment
ulkis January 21, 2015 Share January 21, 2015 (edited) Maybe it's Ric in a Luke mask haha If it's Luke, I don't think it would be DID per se . . . it'll still be a debacle though. I mean it could still be Bill, not as certain as I was though. Like I said before though, I don't want to think too much about it cause that's what Ron wants, the old rascal. Dante hasn't been around for any of the Bill Eckert Info Dumps, right? So maybe it's going to turn out he knows Bill from back in the day or some such garbage. ulkis January 21, 2015 Share January 21, 2015 Okay sorry something funky is going on, I mean to quote TeeVee, what I was typing didn't show up, so I tried erasing his quote and putting it in another post, but it won't let me erase what I quoted from him either! Very odd. So I'm making this post. Sorry about that. Dante hasn't been around for any of the Bill Eckert Info Dumps, right? So maybe it's going to turn out he knows Bill from back in the day or some such garbage. but then Bill would have to have been wearing a mask, because Dante would have to have mentioned knowing someone who looked exactly like Luke when they first met. Right? Right? I know. Soap handwave. Oh, or maybe Luke is Poletti (Dante's old mentor who Sonny was suspected of killing) so Sonny was right for shooting him after all. Hooray! Sonny is right for shooting EVERYONE! 3 Link to comment

Tiger January 21, 2015 Share January 21, 2015 (edited) Thank Jasus. End this crap. Even if Dante does find out who Fluke really is, based on sides, spoilers, etc., I have a feeling that he is going to be Fluke's off-screen prisoner for at least a couple of weeks. Based on all the info out there, I think the earliest we will learn who Fluke is is the week of the 16th. Feb sweeps runs Thu, Jan 29 to Wed, Feb 25 so i can see them putting the reveal in the middle of the sweep. ETA: i havent seen episode counts in a while but Dante has been on a lot lately and no way will Uncle Frank let Dom go over his minimum. So i think he will definitely be off-screen for a while at some point, unless Dom has a minimum up there with Mo and Laura. Edited January 21, 2015 by Tiger 1 Link to comment
LeftPhalange January 21, 2015 Share January 21, 2015 Luke will probably end up being released during February sweeps and then will be re-kidnapped and replaced with another impostor. Or some such garbage. I have 0% confidence that this crap will be over next month. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong. 5 Link to comment

ulkis January 21, 2015 Share January 21, 2015 I think what I think of is a post Pete Martell made over at Television Without Pity - it was, "I don't even believe the show has directors at this point. I think the actors just film everything and then rush off the set before Frank comes in ululating at them like Xena" and that's just what I picture every time someone says his name at this point. 4 Link to comment
jsbt January 21, 2015 Share January 21, 2015 That's how it comes across. Unless it's a day he's directing. He's very hands-on with the production process and with the cutting, apparently. Which is good, but these people still need more rehearsal time. When he was at OLTL the actors say he did give them time for another take or two if they need it or ask for it. I imagine that's still the case. But the show is still pretty thrown together at times. 1 Link to comment

The only time I've ever seen it before the new promo was in scenes opposite Nathan Parsons. When I say he was licking his lips and eye-fucking him, I am unfortunately not kidding. Look, I couldn't care less what Tony does in his personal life. But the way "Luke" was acting around his alleged son was really gross. I thought it was extremely 'in your face', far more so than when Jacob Young and Fish Taco had that shirtless basketball scene. Edited January 21, 2015 by Tiger 2 Link to comment

Yeah, the Luke/Ethan scenes were really, really over the top. I'd never really seen TG as remotely skeevy before that point, but it had such an undertone of "the show went out and got Tony a new toy" to it. 6 Link to comment

Sake614 January 22, 2015 Share January 22, 2015 Allegedly Dante learns who Fluke is at the end of the Fri, Jan 30th and apparently it's someone he knows. I know, it's Brenda! Sonny wouldn't give up the mob for her so she decided to exact revenge. Come on, she already 'slept' with Michael to make Carly's head explode. And she was none too pleased with Sonny when she left. ulkis January 22, 2015 Share January 22, 2015 Yeah, but if getting this information to Michael was super crucial, maybe Sonny shouldn't have started the conversation referring to himself as Michael's father. Just saying. And yeah, why not reach out to someone else who might listen to what he has to say? It's all a set-up for the "I should have listened to you, Dad, you loved me even when I hated you, please forgive me!" reconciliation. Blech. And if Dante gets hurt, it'll probably be depicted as Michael's fault for not listening to Sonny, and that'll be as absurd as blaming Dante for when Michael got sentenced to two years in prison. 4 Link to comment
