Ah, I can see how that would be less than fun. I've happily never had to see anything like that.  Plus Sara's been killed a couple times just on LoT (ok, 1 1/2 ) so maybe I'm less sensitive.  Badge of honor and all that.

Obviously. I was practically stating that Laurel was a hero who died so if Doom!Felicity dies it wouldn't be that different. Except it's they reverse for both characters and i never said you did take pleasure in it. There were plenty that did in other places but that's neither here nor there

I'm surprised at how good it's been, I wish we'd get writing like this in the shows lol. Hell, I hate Barry more than any other arrow-verse character & I like him in this novel.

The only thing that bothers me is the nitpicky stuff (it doesn't know when to call Oliver "Green Arrow" or "Arrow" and the really bad anachronisms like them having their codenames before they were introduced, I guess the Lances aren't things in this book, etc.)

More importantly, how necessary is it to read the Flash portion before reading this? Because I'm not buying both, let me be frank.

The MacGuffin for this one was set-up in the Flash portion, and they reference some of it (stuff like Oliver was teaching Barry meditation techniques, the details about Barry blurring) but I don't think it's too necessary so far. The plot for this one is already more interesting than the Flash one imo.

Guess they really didn't care about keeping the FS fans... well here's hoping EBR's check was nice. It was cool to see her and all in a mask, but really that was a little too much hype for nothing. Really wish they had kept it a secret, that would have been cooler - especially since they obviously don't care if FS fans stick around.

They've done it before for lesser known characters, but I dont think her costume was that intricate. The mask mold probably took longer then finding that costume.

I think the hood cape looked like it was used before in another episode or something, it was very familiar in action. But the mask & Smoak bombs were unique. Glad we got her in a mask, just wish it had been longer. However, being added to the Shrine of Heroes was nice. I'll take that as recompense.

Pros - she was the last hero fighting and she fought till the end. 

Cons - they snapped her neck. Makes me uncomfortable. Sorry. Get Felicity fans to tune in only to reward her haters.

My husband is going to wonder why we don't watch Legends anymore. 

The whole getting Felicity fans to tune in really pisses me off as well. They were getting free publicity off it! If they just left it as is and only the people who normally watch the show will see what they see, instead of getting Felicity fans all hyped up.

To make you feel better - it's only one scene, there's no reason why you can't watch Legends anymore!

And also, it was a Doomworld or whatever they called it (I don't watch this show, so no idea) so her death was predictable and gonna happen for the plot.

I'm feeling petty! I feel like they released the pictures of her for free publicity that they don't deserve!

They do that all the time! Felicity-related info has a tendency to get the most clicks/retweets/buzz for the Arrowverse.

I was all hyped about Vigilante!Felicity and her scene was done before the credits even rolled. Ah, well, at least I don't need to watch the live episode when it airs here later. I wish she was on longer but... She died a good death, not for anyone else's pain but because she continued to protect the city she loves, despite having lost her entire team. "You honor the dead by fighting." Y'all, she outlasted the superpowered ones!

Don't really care about whatever the haters do, tbh. Because get you a fave that other shows spend money on to make her a costume, and concept art, for a 2-minute cameo. Hah.
