tv echo September 26, 2016 Share September 26, 2016 (edited) I only quoted portions (you may wish to read the entire article)... Review: Legends of Tomorrow Starts Season 2 Strong Russ Burlingame- 09/26/2016http://comicbook.com/dc/2016/09/23/review-legends-of-tomorrow-season-2-premiere/ Quote DC's Legends of Tomorrow will kick off its second season in October, and the first episode features multiple romps through spacetime, a guest appearance by Arrow's Stephen Amell, and a restructuring of the team's mission -- and some of their methods. The biggest difference is their mission, which is to get rid of temporal anomalies. It isn't immediately clear what's causing the anomalies, although by the end of the premiere audiences will start to get a sense for it. * * * The crew suffers a loss in the premiere. How they will handle that is going to be some interesting storytelling going forward in the season. It's a surprising moment, but it lacks some emotional punch because it's (probably intentionally) unclear exactly what happened. Tonally, the show has shifted somewhat: it's more Supergirl or The Flash than Arrow. That was always true, but it feels like more of a conscious choice this time out. As with the craziness of the time-travel elements, the lightheartedness, the humor, and the camp is dialed way up this time around. We've got some real Bill & Ted-style comedy going on in this episode in terms of how they interact with historical figures. * * * And a pretty fun episode: in addition to setting a new status quo, giving us some high-concept time-travel hijinks, and guest-starring Stephen Amell (always a plus), there's a framing device for the episode that makes it virtually impossible not to enjoy -- even if about halfway through the episode it loses some of its punch because you start to see where the story is going. Then over to the left I see a female in a tan jacket with blond hair, but it could be someone on crew. Link to comment
Guest September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 One of them looks like the Atom, too. Standing next to Digg. Link to comment
bijoux September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 (edited) I thout it was the Atom as well, but doesn't he have full sleeves? This dude's forearms look bare to me. I think I can spot Heatwave as well, but I was actually more surprised by GA and Spartan since SA and DR were on the Arrow set. I don't know whether they ever film two shows in the same day. It seems more likely that it's stunt doubles. ETA: Watched SA's Facebook live video and he actually was filming Arrow and 'another show' yesterday. The poor person who's in charge of filming schedules for this. Edited September 28, 2016 by bijoux Link to comment
Velocity23 September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 Wonder how long ABC is gonna stick with AOS. Link to comment
kismet September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 I just saw that AOS is on syndication on the ABC related network "MeTV" so perhaps that influenced their decision to keep it to increase syndication $$. Also their most recent ad said "perfect time to jump on", so perhaps if the numbers don't go up this season it might be the end if nobody new jumps on. Link to comment
Starfish35 September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 Yeah I'm pretty much expecting this to be the final season. Link to comment
manbearpig September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 I'm going to be delusional for a while longer and hope AoS can snag an abbreviated fifth season, but...yeah. Hopefully the writers are planning for the end. Also they better find some way to bring back Bobbi before the show is done. 1 Link to comment
Guest September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 That's probably what they were filming when SA took a picture of all of their feet in their superhero outfits. He posted it to twitter a while ago. Link to comment

Morrigan2575 September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 (edited) True LoT just started filming their crossover episode. Hmm, maybe make a rule? All crossover stuff goes "here" no even if it's not Arrrow? We can determine where "here" is. Edited September 28, 2016 by Morrigan2575 Link to comment

calliope1975 September 29, 2016 Share September 29, 2016 Well, look at that. I hated Fight Club 1.0, but you add the non-masks and a green Martian, and I'm all in. Funny how that works. 11 Link to comment

Morrigan2575 September 29, 2016 Share September 29, 2016 Thanks! OK cheesy as hell but i loved the inclusion of Felicity/Diggle/Cisco. They made the stupid cheesy parts fun. 2 Link to comment
SmallScreenDiva September 29, 2016 Share September 29, 2016 Wow, they actually did the Fight Club promo right! Loved the inclusion of Digg and Felicity. Loved Digg's reaction to the Martian Hunter(?), the alien! That was a lot of fun. See, CW and WB, you CAN do promos right. 1 Link to comment

FurryFury September 29, 2016 Share September 29, 2016 Were they fighting GlaDOS? :) I loved it. Cheesy fun, and not too much focus on any character except maybe Kara (which makes sense). Although I didn't care for Grodd at the end. 1 Link to comment
Morrigan2575 September 29, 2016 Share September 29, 2016 (edited) I think Grodd is cheesy as hell, normally I hate him. However, I actually liked his addition to this promo. It worked for me. Edited September 29, 2016 by Morrigan2575 Link to comment
SmallScreenDiva September 29, 2016 Share September 29, 2016 Yup, never thought I'd say this but Grodd was a welcome addition at the end of that. Made such a great contrast to Team Tech. Also because he was entirely different from everybody. Link to comment
