Below is AMC’s schedule which includes V/H/S/94, Slasher: Flesh & Blood, Ultra City Smiths, Creepshow, Horror Noir and Doctor Who. All AMC Networks panels will be available on AMC+ the day after their Comic-Con@Home debut. * * *FEAR THE WALKING DEAD Panel Time: Saturday, July 24 at 1:00 PM PT Chris Hardwick (Talking Dead) will chat with the feature chief content officer of The Walking Dead Universe, Scott M. Gimple, showrunners and EPs Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, and cast members Lennie James, Alycia Debnam- Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Jenna Elfman, Karen David, Mo Collins and Christine Evangelista about season 7 with an exclusive first look. Premiere date is later this year. At the end of last season, Teddy (John Glover) brought about his vision of “The End” when he detonated nuclear warheads across the Texas landscape. In the series’ new season, it will be up to those who survived to decide what “The Beginning” will look like. And they’ll have to do it in a world devoid of light and hope, where the outside air is just as deadly as the walkers they face. The survivors will find out who they really are and what they’re really made of. Some will rise to the occasion, some will find new purpose, and some will redefine themselves — even if it comes at a terrible cost to those they once considered family. THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND Panel Time: Saturday, July 24 at 2:00 PM PT Hardwick will talk about season 2 and provide an exclusive first look with Gimple, showrunner and EP Matt Negrete, and cast members Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Nico Tortorella, Annet Mahendru, Julia Ormond, Jelani Alladin and Joe Holt. Season two of The Walking Dead: World Beyond concludes the epic story of Iris (Royale), Hope (Mansour), Elton (Cantu), and Silas (Cumpston) — four friends who journeyed across the country on a mission that transformed everything they knew about themselves and the world. As they face off against the mysterious Civic Republic Military and fight for control of their own destiny, goals will shift, bonds will form and crumble, and innocence will be both lost and found. THE WALKING DEAD Panel Time: Saturday, July 24 at 3:00 PM PT A big conversation here about the upcoming 24-episode finale. Hardwick, Gimple are joined by showrunner and EP Angela Kang and cast members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Khary Payton, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Eleanor Matsuura and Michael James Shaw as they tease how it all ends. In the series’ final and 11th season, the carnage and devastation of the Whisperer War has left Alexandria a former shell of the home it once was, and its residents are struggling to refortify its walls and feed its increased population as survivors from the Kingdom and the Hilltop join their ranks. Meanwhile, part of the group is being held captive by mysterious soldiers who are members of a larger and unforthcoming group. Edited July 8, 2021 by tv echo Link to comment

tv echo August 16, 2021 Share August 16, 2021 (edited) I watched portions of the Season 11 Preview Special (even though I don't watch TWD anymore) - here's a recap of the Maggie/Negan discussion... Can Maggie Forgive Negan? The Walking Dead Showrunner on “Emotional” Season 11 Story By CAMERON BONOMOLO - August 15, 2021 https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/the-walking-dead-maggie-forgive-negan-final-season-11-emotional-story-showrunner/ Quote The Walking Dead does the unthinkable when it teams enemies Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as part of an "emotional" story in Season 11, asking the question: can Maggie ever forgive Negan? More than nine years after Negan killed Glenn (Steven Yeun), Maggie's husband and the father of her son Hershel (Kien Michael Spiller), she finds herself living behind the same walls as her husband's killer in Alexandria — the last community standing. It was Maggie's decision not to execute Negan that pushed her to hit the road in Season 9, but now Maggie's back, and it's Negan at risk of pushing her too far in Season 11. "A big part of the emotional story is how does this character mesh or not mesh with Negan, who killed her husband," showrunner Angela Kang said of Maggie's story on The Walking Dead Season 11 Preview Special. In Seasons 9 and 10, Kang added, "I think we've been watching Negan on this journey where he's trying to integrate into our group, he's trying to find some redemption, but he still has his Negan edge." * * * "We got interested in these questions of, can somebody redeem themselves? Can there be forgiveness? Is forgiveness owed? Is there an apology that can be made? Can enemies work together in a productive way, or are you always doomed to repeat the same patterns that got you to become enemies to begin with?" said Kang. "There's no easy answer to those kind of questions, they're things that society deals with, so we thought that was really interesting to delve into with those two characters." * * * For Reedus, who virtually appeared with Kang on the Preview Special, Daryl was "Team Kill Negan" when Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) defeated — but didn't kill — the villain to end the Savior War in Season 8. But after the events of Seasons 9 and 10, where Negan saved Daryl from dying in the Whisperer War, Reedus believes there could be forgiveness. * * * "After everything, he's done a lot of good stuff now, he's taken care of Judith (Cailey Fleming)," Reedus said on Talking Dead. "He's done a lot of things that are kind of redeeming, and people in that world, they always do horrible things. It's all about perspective. From Negan's perspective, we went and slaughtered all of his people. So there's a world where there's forgiveness, I think." ETA: I kinda dread the possibility that the series might end with Maggie forgiving Negan and Negan becoming like a father figure to Hershel - even though Negan is the reason Hershel is growing up without his real father. I mean, Negan could still find his way six feet under [before Season 11 concludes], so that could be a problem unless it’s a prequel. “But there are still stories to be told with Negan,” he adds. “I kind of know how the season has worked itself so far, and we’re cracking open windows here and there that would lend themselves to more Negan story.” If a spinoff were to come to pass, Morgan, it sounds like, would be all in. “I do love Negan,” he says. “There’s an amazing opportunity to dive a lot deeper into this man who I think has become very interesting the last few years. I’m certainly not opposed to keeping him alive for a bit longer and finding out more about him.” Specifically, in the future, not the past. “I’ll be very honest with you, if I was to do more, I would like to move forward with the story and not backward,” he says. “I loved what we showed [of his history] in ‘Here’s Negan,’ but now we’ve done a lot of that story. We could do a short series on how the Saviors came to be, which would be kind of interesting, but I’m more looking forward. “We’ve shown these different sides of Negan over the past few years,” he concludes. “Now I’d like to see, after this ends, what happens to him next. I find that possibility to be a lot more interesting than going back in time.” Edited September 8, 2021 by tv echo Link to comment

Dude, I would watch those types of shows & documentaries on History and the Discovery(+) network of channels billions & billions of times over and over again before I'd watch a "Negan" spin-off series. The fact that they think there's enough Negan fans out there to make a spin-off series about him worth the effort, is frankly scary. tv echo September 12, 2021 Share September 12, 2021 (edited) Recap of Laurie Holden panel at Calgary Expo 2021 yesterday... Calgary Expo 2021 Laurie Holden Panel By Joelle Rondeau September 11, 2021https://gamerheadquarters.com/articles/calgary-expo-2021-laurie-holden-panel.html Quote An actor’s work happens prior to showing up on the set, there’s lots of prep work. You must learn the entire character prior to shooting. With that, the first season of The Walking Dead was very hard on her. It was difficult dealing with the heavy emotional toll the character had taken. Your body doesn’t know you’re acting, so that impacted her directly. Mentions really immersing one’s self in the role. * * * Then for some fun chats about the zombie school folks around her went to, with a dance background. All of the zombies have their own back stories and they were very nice on set. Made it harder for her to kill them. On set, Scott Wilson “Hershel” was her favorite cast mate, like a surrogate uncle. A question was then asked about what she learned about herself while working on The Walking Dead. A reply was given, ”I’m stronger than I realized”. Another note was that fans think she was that character, and that actors in general don’t have control over what happens so it’s rough to deal with an audience reacting in a negative way. It’s somewhat of a compliment in that it means she performed well, but notes that actors are separate from the roles they perform. It took a more personal direction afterwards talking about her family’s history of acting, and how she missed acting while in school so she began to shift back towards it. That emotion is universal, with The Majestic being the role that rekindled her passion for acting. A final note was on the suggested romantic combination of Andrea and Michonne. OoohMaggie October 23, 2021 Share October 23, 2021 (edited) The Walking Dead Fans Commemorate Fifth Anniversary of Abraham and Glenn's Deaths: "It Still Hurts" "You can breathe. You can blink. You can cry. Hell, you're all gonna be doing that," taunts Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) before beating Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (Steven Yeun) to death in "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be," a gory and gut-wrenching episode of The Walking Dead aired five years ago today. Aired on October 23, 2016, on AMC, the Season 7 premiere resolved a nearly seven-month-long cliffhanger when the episode, scripted by Scott Gimple and directed by Greg Nicotero, revealed the fate of Negan's first Lucille victim after a deadly game of "eeny, meeny, miny, moe." OoohMaggie January 13, 2022 Share January 13, 2022 (edited) The Walking Dead Spinoff to Begin Filming in Georgia Tales of the Walking Dead is coming to life in Buford, Georgia. According to the Gainesville Times, the episodic anthology spinoff is scheduled to begin filming in Hall County on Tuesday, January 18. A location at 5711 Holiday Road has been fashioned into a prop "Mini Mart" convenience store and a prop "2 Panchos" Mexican restaurant. Stalwart Productions LLC has leased the site for approximately 53 days for a donation of $30,000, according to a location agreement. Gainesville Times reports the payment will be used for future equipment and gear purchases by the Friends of Hall County Fire Services Fund. In October, AMC Networks officially greenlit its third Walking Dead spinoff to premiere Summer 2022 on AMC. Tales consists of six one-hour standalone episodes focused on both new and established characters set in the world of The Walking Dead. Channing Powell, a veteran writer-producer of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, will serve as showrunner for the spinoff developed by chief content officer Scott Gimple. "The Walking Dead is a show that made television history and attracted an army of passionate and highly engaged fans," said Dan McDermott, president of original programming for AMC Networks and AMC Studios. "We see so much potential for a wide range of rich and compelling storytelling in this world, and the episodic anthology format of Tales of the Walking Dead will give us the flexibility to entertain existing fans and also offer an entry point for new viewers, especially on streaming platforms. We have seen the appeal of this format in television classics like The Twilight Zone and, more recently, Black Mirror, and are excited to engage with fans in this new way, against the backdrop of this very unique and engrossing world." According to Powell, the Tales writers' room "pushed, pulled and poked at the boundaries of this universe" to bring audiences "something new and unexpected, while hopefully still tending to what core audiences loved so much about the flagship show." Producers have confirmed actors and characters from past seasons of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead will return on Tales, telling all-new stories set throughout the timeline of the zombie apocalypse. Returning cast members are being kept under wraps for now, but familiar faces expected to live again on Tales include Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) and Beta of the Whisperers (Ryan Hurst). i was hoping for Kwik-E-Mart Edited January 13, 2022 by OoohMaggie 2 Link to comment

Mr. Sparkle January 31, 2022 Share January 31, 2022 Please, I beg forgiveness from anyone who watched this because of me. It was just JDM recapping the story of Negan with absolutely no new footage.
