Do you think he chose his outfit intentionally?  :)

If I had to guess, I'd say yes. If Jared is into Star Wars, then it would be a natural choice for having some fun. But who knows?

Otherwise, wearing a white sportscoat to a theme park is a bold choice.

Do we know where they are?

I don't, just guessing. Unless Stormtroopers are roaming wild now, it has to be theme park or studio lot, LOL.

ETA or a con of some kind?

I really like Christian Keyes.  I hope he remains on SPN.

I guess his character could have some insights into Michael so they could keep him around for consulting purposes. Or, after they get Michael out of Dean (hopefully superfast), his character could be stupid like Tahmoh Pinkett's and say yes a second time.  But, you wouldn't think that would happen.  Is he even still alive?  Apparently Nick plopped over dead immediately after Lucifer left him.

I think AU Michael's meatsuit was injured but not mortally so it's not like it was with Nick. AU Michael wasn't burning through his meatsuit like Lucifer was with Nick.  And Jack stopped short of killing the meatsuit.  And given Christian states in the tweet "Plus, my character is still alive, so i'm excited to see what's to come",  I think it's reasonable to think he's alive.

I thought he meant Michael. Which could mean anything.

I'm pretty sure he means the meatsuit as well as  Michael. It wasn't a matter that the meatsuit was mortally wounded but it was that between Michael and the meatsuit being wounded together they were too weak to fight a Jack powered Lucifer hence Dean offering himself for the fight.  So both Michael and the meatsuit IMO are alive.

I thought Michael said that his meatsuit was shot?  Which means there should theoretically be a body back at the bunker with Cas, Mary and Co., but will there be?  If you leave one meatsuit for another, normally, the old meatsuit is left behind either dead, or as the original human.  Now's when I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the writers room as they try to come up with a plot to fit the cliffhanger.

He said his meatsuit couldn't fight Lucifer in the shape it was in.

I could see Cas healing the meatsuit in case Michael kept his word or Dean was able to get back before Michael took over since Michael wasn't that keen on his sword to begin with.

Also, I hope they take a very long time to remove Michael from Dean. The longer he's away from his family, especially his mom, the better he'll be in my opinion. Plus, he might actually be able to help humanize Micheal better from the inside since they are "marvelling" at their new world, which could totally be a stalling tactic on Dean's part.

I guess the question is whether the meatsuit was a living person or a dead one.  I still wonder if they'll even address it.  I would think that if the person were alive, they'd have shown us this person who suddenly wakes up as themselves again, only in a completely different world.  But there going to do what they're going to do, logic be damned.

I'm not in the camp that thinks Dean needs separation from his family, so I can't agree with you there.  He loves his family, warts and all.  None of them are perfect, but neither is he.  But I do wonder if having Dean influence Michael from within is going to be part of their plan.  I really have no idea where they're going to go with this story.  Will Michael just become the new Lucifer, the evil archangel they can't seem to kill, or will the old Lucifer come back...again?

Evidently, all of the monsters in the world have just given up being a problem, because it seems lately that the only bad guys are the archangels.  I'm sure we'll end up with a new king of hell at some point, but they need to do better than they did last time.  As long as they're bringing everyone back, bring back Abaddon...she was at least good at being evil.

Dean/Michael?

I can't imagine them making Dean/Michael the real Big Bad.  I am cynical enough to think they'll find a loophole that brings back Lucifer as played by Mark P.

Oh I'm right there with you about Lucifer.  They have set up a few scenarios for his return.  One he annoys the Entity in the Empty and gets expelled or the nephilim grace might play a part.  Either way I hope the fans and critics voices have been heard....we are done with Lucifer...forever!

This reminds me of when you introduce a species to act as a biological control on certain pests, but then that introduced species becomes invasive and a problem in itself. The archangels might have helped with the monster problem, but now we've got an archangel problem :P

Is the first bit on this YT video true?  The Js own their own private jet?

Holy shit, Jensen look so goooood during that song. Good gods.  Not my favorite song choice but he looks hellahot singing it.

I have seen the jet mentioned a number of times, including that Jared owns it or both of them. But never seen them say it or a real confirmation. I know when Danneel took the kids to Vancouver when she was filming she mentioned them being on a private jet.

I have no idea what a plane costs, but I bet Kevin Smith could afford a private jet if Jared and/or Jensen can.

I was thinking the same. And apart from their work travel, it's not like either of the guys lead super-extravagant, Hollywood lifestyles. So I'd think leasing a jet would be something either of them could afford. I wouldn't be surprised if the CW and/or Creation contribute something toward the cost, either.

Also, if I remember correctly, Jared's father is an accountant --and IMO it's clear from the business ventures and sidelines he's involved in (and how he's involved in them) that he's especially gotten very good advice for managing his money. And to be frank, by virtually anyone's standards, Jared and Jensen are both very wealthy at this point. It's not surprising to me at all that they'd rent or buy a share in a plane, and honestly, in their case it's kind of a business expense anyway. I think the tipping point for the decision was maybe when Jared went on that embarrassing g Twitter rant against some airline or airline worker. I very well could have missed something, but I haven't heard of either of them flying commercial for work since, lol.

In any case, I don't think *at all* that they are only doing the show for the money (I think they seem to genuinely enjoy it and to enjoy the lives they've built within/around it), but I think that whenever they inevitably get an urge to walk away, their business sense is going to tell them to keep sticking it out. And to stick together and support each other, since the show needs both of them to succeed.

Honestly, if I were in their shoes, I think having such a strong financial incentive to stick together and form an essentially endless de facto partnership would feel kind of weird, like somehow winding up in a professional version of an arranged marriage -- but they've apparently made it work :P

I think Jared might have made the leap to a private jet first.  Sometime in 2015.  Dude is just too big to be comfortable on a commercial airline as often as they fly.  I sadly have 1K status w/ United.  Flying sucks. (... wait... I said that outloud...meh... it's true).  As much time as they spend in the air it make sense.

But I think in the past Jensen was only flying w/ Jared sometimes.  As late as last October, in an interview on "Live w/ Kelly and Ryan", they asked him about all his flying and he mentioned there being no direct flight from Austin to Vancouver.  He also mentioned that the frequent flyer miles are his.  I'm pretty sure the show pays for them to have a place in Vancouver so they have to pay for their own trips home.

But that may have changed in the last 6 months. With the Family Business Beer Company doing well, I suspect that helped cement his goals.  Plus buying tickets for 5 for a family vacation?  First class?  Pricey.  Private jet (or sub-leasing Jared's) make sense.

So... I'm going to guess it's Jared who has the plane (leased/owned, whatever make the most business sense.... and I think you are right that he's taken care of his finances).  I suspect Jensen may be renting it (versus co-owning/co-leasing).  Or... maybe Kevin Smith is right and they just up'd their game and now both jointly own the plane.

Regardless, I think it's a wise move.  Traveling is stressful.  Traveling with you are Super-sized would be miserable.  Traveling with children requires mad skillz in logistic and patience.  A private plane (if you can swing it) would be smart.

I want Jensen to sing Dead Or Alive without that slip knot guy.  I thought he sang it better anyway.  Country just don't do it for a girl from the concrete jungle streets of London UK

yeah I'm glad I'm 5' 2" every time I board a plane

I just got a Creation email that Matt Cohen had to cancel his PittCon appearance this weekend, and that Christian would be taking his place. He'll be hooked, I'm sure! I wonder if he sings. *g*

Don’t know what thread to mention this in, but I just got home tonight (Orlando) from a  9 day “out west” vaca. Our last leg was 3 days in Austin, and I checked out both boys’ bars. Very cool! I’d post pics here but I guess they’re too big. ??‍♀️

Aw man, too bad about the photo size! I'd really like to see them. I'm hoping to get to those bars one day, too. That sounds like an awesome trip!

It was, thanks! I'm a whiskey drinker so I really liked San Jac saloon...lots of whiskies. Also, I liked that the band was more country instead of a lot of new age rap stuff that was in a lot of the other bars. Very cool western-y feel, and clean. Nice quieter upstairs area too.

My hubby is a beer-drinker so he LOVED Family Business Beer. He tried 5 of the (I think 11) beers that they had on tap. Nice, fun (but very hot at 100 degrees) area outside- a lot of space. Smaller and more crowded but equally nice and clean and homey inside area. We also ate at Jep's Southern roots. Very nice staff there, very friendly...did the obligatory hat and shirt purchase for both. My mom was disappointed that Jensen was a no-show since she heard he sometimes comes to the brewery on Saturday afternoons when he is in Austin lol. Still, we had a good time. We also got a kick out of trying to pick out who the "SUPERNATURAL fans" were in opposition to actual beer fans. I'm not saying that teeny-bopper and twenty-somethings in goth clothing and SUPERNATURAL shirts couldn't be beer-drinkers...but just sayin' ;)
