Seems like a lot of people on SM want Sister Jo and Dean to get together. Yikes. They are married. What's the point of having characters then? I would think Jensen would not be a fan of that. In the past he said he has no desire to essentially play himself. Just too close for my comfort.

I'm pretty sure those are anti-Destiel crowd who want Dean and Sister Jo to sink the ship. Full disclosure I am a Destiel ship fan, who is also okay with Dean/Donna and Dean/Henriksen if they ever brought him back LOL. Shipping is not why I don't want Dean and Sister Jo to get together.

I mentioned elsewhere that Ruby/Sam squicks me out because it's too voyeuristic for me now to see them make out. I would feel the same about Dean/Sister Jo.

I also am turned off to that idea because of the name Sister Jo which is clearly some kind of reference to Jo Harvelle IMO, and if Dean ever did see Jo as a romantic possibility then him going with someone named Jo who is played by his real life wife..is yuck. No thanks.

I don't think they'll get together.  That just seems way to obvious, even for these writers.  I have a feeling Jensen wouldn't really want that, either.  I'll be curious to see how it plays out.  I remember Jensen and Jared talking about when their kids finally watch the show, and see the scene where Uncle Jensen kills mommy, that's going to be interesting.  Maybe to even things out, Sam will have to kill Sister Jo, just to keep the kids from being too traumatized.

If 13 years of Dean sleeping with women hasn't discouraged the Destielers, then what's one more relationship with a woman?

It depends on how much the writers want to mess around with them. I’d be very surprised if they resisted the urge to hook her up with one of the three. I’m not including Mark P or Alexander in this since I’m not sure if they know Danneel, while Jared and Misha are both said to be good friends with her and obviously Jensen’s her husband.

You mean to equally traumatize Jensen and Daneel's kids? All is fair in love and war, right? ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if Sister Jo and Dean barely interact at all. Like, wouldn't it be better for both their schedules if while Daneel was shooting, Jensen was with the kids and vice versa?

Well, they'd have to make up some story about how it was done with affection..."see, Daddy got to kill Aunt Danneel too, so it's all good".  I'm just having some fun with it.

I'm guessing that they'll have family or the nanny (if they have one) come to stay with them.  The kids can hang out in Dad's trailer and they can check in on them throughout the day.  I think it will be fun for them.  I'm actually looking forward to it and just hope the writers give her an interesting character to play.

There are many who think casting  Jensen's RL wife means she'll be Dean's end game relationship and she'll be back before the series ends.

No way. They would be idiots to pair Jo with any of the  three main cast. If it was a one time episode maybe it could be done as like a dream sequence or ridiculous fantasy but I don't think they are stupid enough to put her with any part of TFW. Unless they are just trolling fandom.

That's an interesting thought, but one I never had.  Since I'm on record as someone who wants the boys to get their happy ending, I'd actually be ok with that.  I don't see it happening, however.

To clarify I don’t think she’ll be “end game” for any of them, but I just can’t see them resisting a one night stand especially if Bucklemming are involved with any of her episodes.

I can't fathom anyone involved would have her in a sex scene with either of Jensen's close friends. They could get away with it being a mention off screen but even that would be pushing it, even if they tried to play it for laughs, I don't think it would fly. But that's just me. I would eat my hat if they had her with either Sam or Cas or Lucifer or anyone else really.

Heh, maybe she'll turn out to be a gay character and her moniker of Sister Jo has to do with her being a "sister" as in a lesbian.

I am redeemed once more with my thinking it was Misha in the s12 finale.  Alex said he did not watch any of Misha's performance as Castiel and he just wanted to do what he thought he should. This is the weirdest thing.

I didn't remember it being controversial to think Alex/Jack looked very much like Misha/Cas in the 12x23 closing scene?  I don't know how someone could *not* see it.

So watching a bit of today's con, and the discussion of Danneel came up right away.  According to Jensen, her being on the show was something that's been discussed for years by Bob Singer, but Danneel always told Jensen that SPN was his show, and she wanted him to have his thing, and she would just support him.  Then when season 13 was given the go ahead, she mentioned that it might be kind of cool to be on the show.  So Jensen mentioned that to Bob Singer, and the rest is history.  I think Jared is at least as excited as Jensen about her being on the show, if not even a little bit more.  And Misha is hoping that he and Danneel can team up in taking on Jensen and Jared in the pranking department.  So whether or not the fans end up enjoying her stint on the show, I think it's safe to say the cast will enjoy themselves.

Yeah I think the cast are just as excited to have her on the show and on set in general. I do wish her and the cast good luck. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Danneel/Gen joint con panel to occur in the next year at creation.

Timing seems kinda just perfect from my perspective.  Their eldest is 4?  Means she’s not in Kindergarten yet.  Perfect time to pull her out for several weeks.  Old enough to remember, young enough to not cause a lot of disruption.  Jensen must be over the moon.

I always thought Misha and Alex looked a lot alike too.  So we both were right there.  But you did miss about saying it won't be the real Cas back--we debated that a lot...you had your heavy, constant doubts there.  I knew they weren't going to not bring real Cas back--they always end up with regular Cas, Dean and Sam alive and they will to the end of the show.  Sorry had to add that--lol!

Yes should be fun--I don't they worry about some fandom noise.  They are used to complaints regardless what they do.

Danneel’s public persona strikes me as one where she’s not going to give a shit about any fandom drama. Not that I expect much.

What other wife/spouse would they have cast? Genevieve was already stunt cast in s6 as Jared's wife in FM. Just  because this was announced casting, it doesn't preclude them from bringing back Genevieve to play Ruby in the AU and not announce it. They kept Bobby and Mary secret.They could keep Genevieve a secret, too. Misha's wife is not an actress and she barely will be on his Facebook videos so she's not an option.
