I attend a weekly bible study, and even I roll my eyes at some of the things people in our group ask us to pray for.... then I pray for myself for being so bitchy and eyerolly. ?

Personally I don't think either of those pictures are photoshopped -- Kelsey or the one of Kyndall and Mandy. Nothing looks odd about them to me. Shrug.

Strange of Sarah to post about Amy's engagement like that. I recall her posting about someone else's pregnancy recently (can't remember who) who seemed to not have made a public announcement yet, and now this post about Amy's engagement that honestly comes across as Sarah taking credit for everything. I'm wondering if Amy has announced her engagement on any form of social media. She hasn't on Instagram, but it's possible she did on Facebook, which we wouldn't be able to see. I dunno, Sarah is just rubbing me the wrong way right now.

All of that aside though, I'm so happy for Amy! She is precious and I can't wait to see pics of her wedding. Of course this could mean she might retire after this season. I REALLY hope she doesn't because she's one of my favorite girls on the team.

ETA in regards to Sarah posting about someone's pregnancy, I remember now that it was Jenn K and Sarah posted that she was trying to get pregnant or something of the like. Still over the line IMO.

This, too. I do think the Kyndall/Mandy photo looks a little bit photoshopped, but Kelsey's doesn't.  I kinda hate her. Not really, just jealous.

I'm usually really bad at being able to tell when pictures are photoshopped (hell, I can almost never tell when someone is wearing a wig), but Kyndall looks weird.  Her waist looks like it curves in way too high, and it's "pointy", it almost looks like a "greater than" sign.  From what I can see, yeah, I think the picture looks altered & I wouldn't be shocked if Kelsey's is either.  I'm not saying they NEED altered pictures, I just think they are.

Any had posted live video of the recital and the girls dancing. That was fun to watch. That must have been a great surprise at the end of the show. She is such a good egg as my mom would say. Her fiancé is very handsome. There was an image of him dropping her off before auditions I remember thinking what a sweet couple

I have never particularly been a fan of hers either! She annoyed me when she was on the team, especially her 5th year. I was like who put this girl in a position of power? Lol 

She is always the first person to like every current or former dcc post or make a passive aggressive or backhanded comment. She does post nice things too, but I will never forget what she said to Mary on Instagram! 

 I'm sure she has Amy's permission, but like someone else already said, it was Gourley's big moment.  She is staging a comeback, and we are all privileged to be a part of it.

I should prolly take this to unpopular opinions buuuuttt.....I actually LIKE Sarah. I think she's just got a boss lady attitude and that rubs some people the wrong way. Which I totally get. I view this as her being happy for a friend, not trying to steal her thunder, but that's just me. I've said it before about her, I think she's got a rock hard exterior and is just mush on the inside. I remember a mush moment from the show when she was getting ready to take on the nothing but net challenge and was telling camera guy how as a group leader she wanted to be there for the other girls as their backbone and support and a half a second later she is shown screaming and panicking all the way up with girls getting ready jump just looking at her like?                ..............BACK DOWN BACK DOWN

My unpopular opinion is that I never really liked Danielle. She grew on me in her last seasons but I was just kind of "meh" about her (I know the mob with pitchforks is coming after me). I didn't dislike her she just never stood out to me. 

The fact that we all have different favorites means that Kelli is doing her job!

I admit I did not like Danielle her first two seasons, but she started to grow on me afterwards. I adore Jinelle, but I did not care for Jasmine at all. I also could not understand the big fuss over Courtney Cook. Yes, she was cute, but to me, she could not dance. I think the only reason why she made it was the fact Kelli liked her so much, and Charlotte thought she had a unique look for the team.

I get that Courtney was a well-liked member of the team, but I never understood why they put together that video montage when she left before training camp. The producers cut the segment together like an "in memory of" piece and Kelli acted as if she had died. Also, when Kelli said "that's all I want to say to protect her privacy," all I could think was: this would have been a hell of a lot more private had they left her departure out of the show (a la Amy Reese's cut).  The footage of her odd behavior during the interview, Kelli saying "we lost a teammate today," and the video montage all led to a lot of speculation on the boards, which was unnecessary and unfair to her. I understand they sign releases but I think it was a dick move for CMT to include this story in season 8.

Courtney Cook was thirstiest than Jenna and Holly combined, plus she was not a good dancer. There was a BCA performance on YouTube where she actually does the wrong turn in the middle of a formation where they're in straight lines across the field. I don't remember exactly if she jeted right when everyone else went left, but I remember it being really obvious. Lots of sync issues too. I remember feeling like she was just a mess and that Judy was going to scream.

In my opinion, I think it was damage control since rumors were and still floating around she left due to an eating disorder. Kelli and Judy took a lot of heat over the scene in Season 6 or 7 when Amy Caroline was cut during TC. Her sister went on a facebook rant saying the scene was heavily edited to make Amy look bad, and she was in Urgent Care the day before the cameo photo shoot due to trying to lose weight to fit in her uniform. Plus the way they showed Kaitlyn LeGrand in Season 6 did not look fair or right to me in my opinion, so I would not be surprised if they decided to go a totally different route with Courtney leaving.

With Amy Reese, rumors floated around she got a lawyer to stop her cut from being shown due to the fact it has been speculated more than once she got cut due to missing curfew after partying during calendar shoot. I do not understand why they let her come back to TC if she was indeed cut for partying instead of alleged weight gain. To me, I think the real reason why Chelsey was cut in Season 8 was due to the fact she was being too much of a party girl and not weight gain. I also find it interesting she was cut after Kelli asked her about partying since she was dating a friend of Cassie's husband at the time.

I'm not saying this to be mean, but in my likely unpopular opinion, I always side-eyed the seriousness of the "Urgent Care" thing.  If it were a hospital ER I'd think differently, but I once went to an Urgent Care place for a suspected UTI because I didn't have a family doctor at the time.

Me, too. Kelsey we all know isn't the greatest dancer, so saying Jinelle is better isn't a terrible stretch performance wise, and both are pretty. But Madeline.......I don't get it. She looks like a high school child and I think she isn't a show group quality dancer. She has the novelty of being a white girl from Utah who has some swag with hip hop, but with everything else, she's not impressive to me. Poor extensions, doesn't finish moves, poorly executed tricks, mediocre technique overall.

I see your point of view, but her sister did say Amy was sick from trying to lose weight to fit into the uniform. Her cut was in the same episode where Judy was saying a few of the veterans were saying Kelsey may have an eating disorder. They jump on the girls to lose weight, but they do not want a girl to look too skinny in the uniform.

I don't think the show could have glossed over Courtney Cook's leaving right after auditions the way they've glossed over other vets disapearing, though, not without a lot of questions.  Did they have to build up dramatics?  No, but it's tv after all.  I couldn't have pointed out Amy Reese in a line up and didn't even notice her coming off the squad, but for sure I would have realized it with Courtney Cook.  I suspect most viewers would have since she was a comeback girl and was going to be a 3rd year vet, I think?  Or was it just her third total year in camp?

I thought she was cute as a bug but her hair color was bananas that last year...dark blonde didn't suit.  I remember her bad hair more than her erratic interview.

I didn't realize this.  Now I really feel suspicious about the sister's claim!  Yep, tin foil hat (borrowed from Vivian's solo costume ) time :)

I hope they have a segment on how they girls prepare and recover from practice on the show.They show some girls getting cryo therapy and here Chantel is getting an infusion. (I happen to be getting my infusions this week so I feel like a kindred spirit) This would be an interesting way to show how these girls are truly athletes and how they go through some of the same things the football players do for muscle recovery.

I think that you can't use the excuse that she was dehydrated etc due to trying to fit into the uniform.  It wasn't a surprise that she would need to fit into the uniform so why wait to the last minute?  As a health professional, I didn't find that an appropriate reason.

I personally think Chelsea was cut because K & J were sick of her shit. She may have been partying and all that but I believe her cut boiled down to K & J having had enough. Plenty of other cheerleaders in the past have partied and a head was always turned the other way. But Chelsea likely partied and then come to find out she's talking trash about what she was just told in the privacy of Kelli's office?  I'd cut her ass too just for the disrespect she showed and informed her to go ahead allow the door to hit her on the ass on her way out of Valley Ranch. Chelsea forgot that she's wasn't just a cheerleader, she was an employee and she absolutely forgot her place.
