So is Victor really being framed? I haven't been able to watch, so behind. On the one hand, Deimos framing him would be okay because if Deimos isn't going to be a schemer, he has no purpose. OTOH, Victor not being a schemer...same deal. Victor is only interesting when he's bad, and the dramatic implications if Victor IS guilty, are far greater than if he's not.

Chad is certainly capable of hiring a full-time nanny or both a day and night nanny to help out. Yes, he's a young guy, but men can be capable parents. Jennifer is not the best idea.

Ciara wants a bad boy right now. I do understand the rebellion and that Theo is too sweet and decent, right now. Ciara needs to actually move through and past her pain. Time does not bury old wounds. They do eventually get dredged up. It's a low move to take advantage of Chad. Selfish and does nothing for the self-worth or self-esteem. But oh noes, maybe she could get knocked up!

This story just gets more and more stupid.  Why wouldn't Belle tell Chad that Jennifer fell off the wagon?  She supposed to be in his corner.  At the very least, she should insist that Jennifer drop the custody suit.  The woman is not fit to take care of a baby.

Belle is Chad's lawyer. Yeah, she should tell him! Maybe the motel person has some incriminating video. Or tell Jennifer to drop the suit.

As the biological father, Deimos does need to be told the truth about his child. He does not have to marry Chloe - just work out a shared custody arrangement.

Ciara does need a few knocks to her pedestal. Maybe Chad may fall in love with you a few years down the road, but not now. Grow up, go to school, have some adventures first.

I'm wondering how this Tate storyline will wrap up. If Summer is gone and not technically involved, why did we spend so much time watching her in the middle of it? And will the show actually have the balls to let Victor suffer for arranging it all...or will they go the lazy route and make it all about Deimos, who apparently gets to be written into every storyline on the show? 

Now that we know Kristen and Vivian aren't likely involved or coming back, I feel like this is just going to fizzle out. Much ado about nothing?

If the Thrady wedding is hosted by Victor, I'm guessing he's cleared and a free man again shortly....

See, I really like getting to see Evil Victor since that was all before my time as s viewer...and they built his hatred for Theresa up gradually enough that I buy him doing something this desperate to stop the wedding after two years of her being a problem...but having Summer and Deimos muddled up in there bums me out. This storyline would be fine with just Thrady, Maggie and Victor in the spotlight.

I kind of Hope they just let it all be Victor's doing, and he gets shunned by Brady, dumped by Maggie and put on trial.

(Although Brady owes him Tate's life for saving him from Kristen, and stopping his wedding to her...Vic has been saving his ass for years).

Wonder if Vic puts Xander up to killing Theresa, if they cross paths in jail. THAT would be truly evil....

If they do cast Steve and Ava's long lost son, I hope he's the complete opposite of the cold-blooded murdering idiot that Steve and Kayla's kid turned out to be.  Or, better yet, have him be decent *and* reveal him to be the true son of Steve and Kayla.  Joey can then be the evil mutant of Steve and Ava.  I don't even care whether the backstory would make sense or not.  Nothing else on this show does, and there needs to be happy resolution to the awfulness that is Joey.

I know the show really hasn't adapted to modern times and sensibilities and moralities.

Maybe Chloe needs a reality check.  She is pregnant by a man who is loosely a friend with benefits/one night stand. She doesn't seem to work much, has no regular job or income, doesn't make a whole lot of money as a 'singer'.  Not a good risk to be a parent. Yes, she has rich parents and probably a nice trust fund for her previous child with the now-deceased ex-husband. I would think that if Deimos was not a Kiriakis (and rich, although by dubious means), the kid would be gone-zo. So now, we get a recycled story of a love that may have been. No real interest on my end, except why Chloe can't seem to clue in that she is always a man's second choice. There'll be the wedge with her BFF Nicole, who yet again will not get any sort of break in life. Maybe instead do the opposite and refuse to have anything to do with Deimos and either keep the kid and ask for modest support, and let folks all have their own lives.

Why is this happening? What would be the purpose of this storyline other than continuing to make that nasty bit of trash, Ava a thing that won't go away.  I have no interest in the never-ending chronicles of Steve and his assorted monstrous skanks that he unleashes on, and allows to wreak havoc on Kayla's life while expecting her to grin and bare it.  Oh I almost forgot that Ava was a Higley pet and the propping will be non-stop. I think I'll be out for good once this story gets underway.  I have no interest in watching Higlemonster destroying Kayla as she destroys everything.  Good to see Days continue its tradition of the male half of a couple having children with other women, while the female half can only procreate with their male counterpart.

Xander and Serena had potential too.

I wonder if Dena's return meant a different ending was scripted to the Tatenapping? The way Victor and Deimos are all buddy-buddy now has me a bit suspicious. Technically Dena's material only starts airing next week, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if they backtracked a little and filmed new scenes with Victor and Deimos teaming up to unveil the identity of the real kidnapper.

Don't forget we already saw a scene of Victor arranging something on the phone with the woman involved with taking Tate. Could that have been a goof that they left in because of the time crunch or simply an oversight? It was a brief enough moment in the show that I wouldn't be surprised if they glossed over it, similar to how they glossed over Andre playing chess with Stefano while Aiden was attacking Hope last November (instead of supposedly being at her house swapping Aiden out with a doppelganger, as they later claimed). That scene clearly indicated that Andre was surprised by what happened at Hope's house...but they've ignored it in favor of their silly retcon.

Will Dena flip the script so Victor isn't to blame? Was that what was originally intended? Or will we be seeing Josh and Beth's intended conclusion to that storyline?

The timing of this really makes me wonder. How often is it that a new writing team comes in to write the big reveal of a bad guy after another writing team has spent weeks setting it up?
