I don't understand why some feel the need to drink to watch this silly show.  I realized a long time ago that my way isn't the way for everyone and some folks do things differently.  That said I wonder how long these couples will stay married.  Didn't all the couples from two seasons ago get divorced?

There were some trainwreck seasons. I didn't really watch Seasons 3 or 4.

They did. I didn't watch season 3 after that.

It's not the drinking per se. It's the thought that you have to be pretty messed up at this point to still enjoy this or expect something different to happen. I'm sober.

Might have been me. I can't stand him at all. I said it elsewhere and will say it here that all he cares about is being a "reality tv star" and nothing more.

No surprise there with her. She was probably drooling over what details she might get out of them and their sex lives. She always gets this gross look on her face when it comes to sex.

I am betting they never were really and it was part of the producers idea to set it all up to look that way considering the no sex with Cody and Danielle. It never came off to me that those 2 were doing anything at all.

I am going to say that I am betting they really aren't together but the show wants things to look like they have had a successful season after all the failed crap because there is no way they would be married like this and no sex having gone on at all even once. As well as you can't just get a quickie divorce in that state. So they would be stuck married still for at least 6 months from what I read and separated if they were both agreeing on the divorce. If not it can take at least 2 yrs for a divorce. So I wouldn't be surprised if we hear they are divorced either soon or in another month or 2.

I don't get it either with the drinking. IMO if I felt I had to drink to get through a show or anything in life I wouldn't even do it anymore. That is just me though. As I said I think the show wanted this season to look like a success. Especially when they don't have the next one ready to go or even cast yet. This way they can tell the next people they try to sucker into it that it worked this last time. Like you said for how long? If anyone can last longer than a year or so it would be Anthony and Ashley I think but otherwise I can't see the other ones staying together. Especially if there is no sex between Cody and Danielle.

Oh course she isn't. This show is predictable in how they do things and try to make it look one way but really its not.

 The commercials for that show were hard enough to watch for me. Its one I will pass on. As for Boston........at this point who knows what is going on there. Hopefully people are smart enough to run the other way from this mess.

Nope....I'm thinking there aren't many she would to begin with unless it was her ex (or did she get him back?).

I feel like I have to say, I didn't drink to watch this show. I never had wine watching this show before and I had a rough week and had a glass of wine with dinner. Everything is funnier to me when I'm a little tipsy.

I actually gasped at the reveal that Danielle and Cody are still married. For what? You can be friends with someone without being married to them! At the absolute VERY least, I would need my spouse to do more than just say "I'm working on it" if he couldn't have sex with me after nine months. He'd need to get some sex therapy - if the therapist felt like we should be in counseling together, cool, but we would need to do some actual work with a professional to get to a point where we had a satisfying sex life, and if we couldn't get there, hell yeah I'd leave. Sex matters in a relationship, and this is really unfair to Cody - and to Danielle. They both deserve to be with people they want to have sex with. It's not going to just happen on its own after nine months. The "experts" are doing them a disservice by not taking that seriously.

Do I need wine to watch the show?  No.  Does it help?  Definitely.  I mean, I don't sit down and drink because I'm watching the show, it's usually because of a long day at work/cranky toddler/it's too damn hot, but it helps to digest some of the foolishness.  And, I like wine. Meh.

I FF'd through commercials (Thanks, DVR technology!).  However, I must have FF'd too far past the commercial breaks, because, until I came to this forum, I thought Cody and Danielle *had* had sex!  And I was, like, "Wow!  What?  They had sex!  Why are they STILL so awkward????"  Now I understand.  Thank you, my fellow cynics, for keeping me informed.  

Not surprised by the other two couples.  Sheila and Nate will remain married as long as they both keep the faith. Ashley and Anthony are, by far, the most natural match this show has had since Courtney and Jason.  I hope they make it.
