I know it's still really early and anything can happen, but it really feels completely inevitable that Paul will continue to get everything he wants and nothing interesting will happen. This is literally just a repeat of BB16.

Other than a DE and a few brave HGs that could decide to dump Paul, all I can hope is that he makes the wrong choice at F2 and loses. Again.

You know what, I almost wanna see this happen. It would be pretty hilarious.

But no, they'd just bring him back again if that happened and I literally can not take another season of him.

Take that back, three times!

To be fair to Alex, in one of his conversations to the camera, Pauo said the two people  in the house he really trusted were Kevin and Alex. So she's not as bad as the other fifty people in the house who think they are truly tight with Paul.

And I still think it is WAY too early to hand the game over to Paul. This house is way too volatile. There's a lot of game left.

Just not this week. Although no way does Josh get to Thursday playing his part. I'll be shocked if he manages to get through the Veto ceremony without going off on Jess/Cody. He does bring the entertainment, that's for sure.

I dunno. BB20, Paul versus Brenchel? Ears would bleed but man, would that be amazing to watch the drama explosion. Actually, leave BRENNAAAAAAN! at home and just have Rachel versus Paul.

What does this mean and did they choose this themselves?  gag

Read further. I expanded. Also, yes, they chose it themselves. It's even made one of the broadcast shows (a brief clip of Alex saying "AMF! Yeah!" or something to that effect when she was HoH). I've only heard it a handful of times on the feeds, because it's a secret alliance so shhh!

Just when you think they've hit a new low, Big Brother is all, "Hold my beer, we can dig this hole deeper." (Also, Quack Pack offends me on a different level because it besmirches my childhood memories of Duck Tales.)

Oh, agreed. Way too much time left, which is why I think it'd still be very impressive if Paul pulls it off.

What I find interesting is that Elena hangs with Kevin, Jason, Alex and Ramses sometimes so much in the green bedroom. It was fun listening to Jason and her talking about bulls, Oreo and Ole.

She's one of those rare HGs who seems willing to socialize with everyone. I really admire that part of her game.

Rats, Paul came into the room hopping on Christmas's crutches. About to change cameras, then he left. OK, Paul is whispering about someone reading the Bible just like Dominique did. But I can't figure out who. I'm thinking Josh, or maybe it's Ramses.

I think Elena is playing a pretty good game. Certainly a better game than Matt, Raven, and Mark. I am interested to see what she does if she gets told about the evict Ramses situation/if she gets blindsided by it on Thursday.

Now now. Let's be fair. Matt is hiding in his cereal bowl for a few more weeks before he busts out his killer game moves (or kills them all when it's Day 43 of the same shirt). And Raven spends all her time and energy dying, so we can't expect her to play the game.

I have no excuse for Mark, though.

By the way, I'm starting to think that blindsiding them on Josh leaving might actually backfire, in the sense that if Josh went this week, Cody and Jessica would be completely controllable. Now that you spurn them, then they're going to be UNcontrollable. The math probably still works, because you'd have Josh as a number, but I think that there are actually some strategic downsides to taking out Ramses.

He was talking about Josh saying what a great job Josh is doing at being mopey and sad.

She said her dad is Italian.

But she's told them she's second cousins with Steffi Graf. Steffi Graf is German. And Graf is a German name. She's talked about her mom being Brazilian, she wraps herself in the flag of Brazil when watching soccer games.

I agree.  Pissing them off, and it will, does not serve any of them.  Let them think they are back in the group and it opens possibilities.

Elena is the playing very well.  Good social game, only casually with Mark and makes that clear.  I like her.

Maybe she has a stepfather who's Italian? Her dad is a cousin of Steffi Graf's. Graf is German.

I stand by my opinion that Paul is seen by the others as someone who won't vote emotionally. I think he will vote for who he thinks played the better game. Almost all of the others would most likely vote emotionally. I'm not a huge fan of Paul's but I do give him a little credit on some things.

They all suspect Jess got the last DOT, and they don't know what it does, so if they were being smart, they'd sacrifice Josh and wait and see.  They know it has to be some sort of power.  And if I were in there, it would tell me that "America" likes her and/or them, for whatever that's worth.

True, and it just seems so weird to put yourself on the line to save JOSH, of all people.

Why? Because Christmas has a sort of Lenny/George thing going on with him and Paul thinks he'll go after Jessica/Cody/Mark? Who CARES who Josh will go after? He's not going to win anything! He's a moron!

Mark is right about the tabasco sauce. He said if Josh really got tabasco sauce in his eyes, he would have been in the house rinsing them out. I was wondering how Josh could continue the fight instead of screaming in agony. (Of course Mark shouldn't have tossed the pickle juice and tobacco sauce mixture).

Everyone is reliving the Josh, Mark food fight.  Jessica and Cody are laughing hysterically.  Especially after this the should go with Josh out.

That's a very incisive way to put it. That wouldn't have occurred to me.

Jessica is saying to Cody that Paul is conditioning everyone in the house to do what he wants.  Cody says nobody will have the balls to do anything about it but they're feeling it.

All I want is a teensy weensy bit like, "Well, if Ramses goes, that's okay, too. We realize that there is a chance that he will go." Anything but repeating the same obtuse behavior that fucked them over just THREE WEEKS AGO.

Josh is mad because he can't have any alcohol. He requested a bottle of Merlot. Paul says he has to wait until Thursday. Josh wants them to save some booze for him. Watch them drink it all up before Thursday!

Paul sends Josh back to the HN room to read his bible and not join in the fun or have anything to drink!  This is going way too far.  That is mean.  Well, it is smart too.  LOL

Mark is telling Jessica and Cody that he doesn't think the vote will be unanimous but that Josh is leaving without a doubt.  Jessica hopes that the vote will be unanimous.  She thinks it would be dumb to go against the house.

Oh good god Jessica.  You are barely hanging on by a thread in this house.  Take what you can get!  And be happy about it.  Don't be Helen.

Part of me would not be surprised if Matt was playing the "Kevin Martin game" from the last season of BBCan.  Meaning do nothing unless you absolutely have to.  Nothing I have read from you Live Feed watchers suggests that but I am going to go with it anyway because at least it would make him interesting.

She is a special kind of obtuse. I know being HoH often brings out obtuse behavior in people, but daaaaaaamn.

So, Jessica chose the accept the temptation.  What was the consequence?  Having an evicted houseguest re-enter the house?  When Kevin accepted his temptation, the house was cursed with Paul.  When Paul accepted his temptation, Ramses was cursed with having to put himself up on the block as a third option.  When Christmas accepted her temptation, Jason, Jessica, and Cody were cursed with the toad crap.

What was the curse to go with Jessica's temptation?

It sucks that Jessica won the veto, because that means Ramses goes and Paul gets what he wants. However, I'm not totally pissed as I could be. It's not like I have any attachments to Ramses, so his eviction won't really affect me. He just never grew on me, he hasn't been a good game player, and most didn't really talk game with him (not in detail) so as much as it sucks for Ramses for being dealt a very bad hand, he also played just as badly with what he was given and many of his choices did lead to people not trusting him or wanting him as a game ally. Plus, Jody will be blindsided by their trust that their target would be eliminated (hey; at least it isn't an ally this time around), and with Jessica's temptation needing to be used, I'm hoping that it's the wake-up call to show Jody that Paul is not trustworthy. They're going to need to work hard for the next two weeks to get more allies to turn on Paul.

Not that I understand fully why they trusted the others to evict Josh this week, but whatever.

According to Julie on Thursday, we'll find out this upcoming Thursday.
