Yes, and there was always the rumor that she and Sarah Jessica Parker hated each other.  Which makes me think they are fantastic actors because you never saw a hint of that on the show. 

Back to Wendy. Is she really going to go along with that asshole doing what ever he wants, when ever he wants? I'm losing respect for Wendy to the point it's all I can see when I watch her show now.

I think Kim needs to think of the fans and just do the damn movie.  If she doesn't want to do nudity, I'm sure she can refuse.  It is sad that she and SJP hate each other so much.  They both seem a bit difficult for me.  Wendy expressed my opinion on the previous movies perfectly.

Thoughts on Wendy's lusting over an interview with OJ?  I watch so much trash but that might be a bit tough for me to swallow.

I wouldn't tune in to that either. I wouldn't trust a thing that came out of his mouth. 

After all he has done (been convicted of) and what he allegedly did (the famous not guilty verdict) I have no interest in seeing him go back to his (whatever) B-list status and making money off/after his bad behavior. 

WW just wants the interview because:

LOL! I really should know better, but I was surprised to hear Wendy say she wants to interview OJ. I'm not interested to seeing or hearing from him either, but like what Mindthinkr said before it's all about the ratings and $$$ for her.

I haven't been watching much Hot Topics the last two days, but I'm excited for Hot Talk tomorrow. Time to get some different opinions from people that don't kiss Wendy's ass.

I don't care to watch an OJ interview either but if I were him, there is no way in hell I would let Wendy have an interview.  Like it really or not, an OJ interview will bring in some viewers and I wouldn't let someone who obviously riffs on me and my personal life, WHILE TRYING TO COURT AN INTERVIEW FROM ME, would benefit from me being on their show.  

If she really wants the interview she should try and keep from making fun of him in air while her staff is killing themselves trying to get him on the show.  

I don't think Wendy is very smart, or thinking at all.  I think she is developing a God complex.

Lol. I saw Ally co-hosting on another show a few months ago and she wasn't so obnoxious. I like Ashley Banfield. I wanted her to be a co-host on The View back when I still watched it.

haven't watched real housewives of orange county in years. vicky looks a mess for someone who is a millionaire. very unflattering hair and clothes. she couldn't find a shirt that fits?! those buttons were about to pop any second. i hate all the housewives franchises. i do hate watch new jersey still though :)

So true!  I remember her telling a story, and it's in her book too, about when Kev was about 13 and walked in on his parents.  She was giving her husband a bj and saw Kev and kept on doing it.  Right after that is when Kev said he didn't like her and she cried.  Looking back on it, she should have put 1 +1 together and came up with her answer.  I can't imagine seeing my mom doing that or letting my son see anything like that.  When I was a kid they were building a new expressway at the end of our street.  The project was announced at the same time as the space agency announcing going to the moon.  We got to the moon before this road project was finished.  My point being is that we had years of playing on the construction site.  An off ramp was just up the road from us and we would ski and sled down it in winter and play ball down in there in summer.  We found a box of reel to reel movies and took them home and set up the projector.  With the whole street in attendance we realized it was pornography.  I can tell you I was scarred for life and whatever was depicted in the short piece of film we saw I have never been able to even consider.  We told our parents and they called the police.  It's been 45 years since then and we still talk about it and how upsetting it was.  I could see why it took a long time for Kev to respect his mother after that and could be he was more amenable to drug use.

@Mindthinkr I have enjoyed all your posts here.  Speaking of that topic - I thought it was crazy that Wendy was criticized.  Her speech yesterday about not getting on a tour bus was spot on.  It's like these young women need the Stranger Danger talk again.  You don't get into a stranger's car, you don't pick up hitch hikers and you don't get on a tour bus.  Just common sense.  Sure it does not negate the criminality of the rapist/abuser but as my dad would say, "You never want to be dead right".  I think by getting all weepy just makes the critics stronger.

The plethora of "other woman" angles - I kind of like the paying off the drug connection one.  Look at TRav from Southern Charm.  Do you really think all those young people enjoy his crap?  No, he is just the connection to their drugs of choice.  You want to be first, or last, in line then you act very friendly toward the dealer.  Grew up in the 70s so......................

I had never heard the story of Little Kev walking in on his Mom taking care of Big Kev's business. Yuck. I'd have been traumatized. Parents need to lock their doors when they are 'busy'. Why ever didn't she stop? Tacky (for lack of a better word). 

I consider myself pretty travel savvy but had never heard of the tour bus danger before (I admit I was multi-tasking getting ready to ferry my granddaughter off to a lesson). I totally agree with you re: stranger danger, hitch hikers, etc. Growing up there was a local girl who was at college and was last seen hitchhiking. They eventually recovered her body but never her head. Let's just say that was enough for me to not try to go anywhere with a stranger and to be aware of my surroundings as well as exits, escape routes. Even with being armed with this knowledge I still had an incident early in my life. You can't tell children enough.

Coke whores or if you were in the St. Clair Shores area it was Sea Whores - because they would do things for coke and a ride on a boat.

Tour bus danger is what WW was saying about the girl who accused Usher of rape.  It happened on the tour bus allegedly.  If you know about not getting into a car a tour bus should really send off alarms.

PS I watched that link (thank you for it being clickable) and watched her talk and laughed so hard at Conan's reactions. I loved that he called her out for having a talk show so knowing the rules!

Vicki lives in her own world. Which also explains why she's a "friend in Wendy's head". Although I still watch most of the Housewives, I enjoy the Potomac and Dallas ones more since they haven't crossed over into darker territory... yet.

Wendy told that story many times.  She said they have an open door policy in the house and lil Kev walked by and saw them, Wendy saw him and didn't stop blowing big Kev, she just kept on . I saw her tell it on a late night talk show with either Jimmy Kimmel or Jimmy Fallon (can't remember which) It was during the time she was going around promoting her awful comedy stand up circuit and she really thought she was being funny. The story totally fell flat and nobody in the audience laughed, including the host.  I never believed that story. No mother in her right mind would do that. It was all for her routine. I think she gave up her dreams of becoming a stand up comic, right?  And yeah, lil Kev was acting up and hating her around that time, but I think it's because she was never home back then.  She was doing her show, Dancing with the stars, book tours, stand up, and was in the play Chicago so her son (and husband obviously ) had too much time away from her. Notice she scaled way down on all the extra curricular money making activities.

Watching John Leguzamo on the show today. He's actually a stellar guest and has me laughing at his stories and quick wit. I guess he's plugging/marketing his 6th one man show. I'd go see it based on what I saw today. I have enjoyed some of his other acting roles even if I didn't understand the point of his character (Bloodline). Very entertaining guest.

Did anyone notice Vicki Gulnavson doing the Arsenio "woo woo woo" gesture when she first came out? I wanted to yell at her that she was on the wrong black talk show (and 30 years late)!

I think what Wendy was *trying* to convey is that young women have to be extra careful about where they're going/what they wear/who they're with/how much they drink and it's not because they "asked for it" but because the world sucks and while not all men are predatory and awful, there will always be awful and predatory men. In her initial delivery, she seemed detached from the topic, but I now think she was laughing during it because she was nervous and it's a topic that hits close to home with her. I thought her subsequent apology the next day was genuine.

Yeah, Wendy, you really need to be giving advice about another woman that should divorce her husband (Georgina Chapman).  Georgina left Weinstein immediately after the news broke, unlike your sorry ass. Then she has the nerve to say she would never wear any Marchesa clothes again. Georgina had nothing to do with what her disgusting husband did. Honestly, how does she look at herself in the mirror?

Fashion observation:  When Wendy makes her daily entrance through those double doors, I flash over her outfit and wonder how much tailoring is involved in her clothing.  She is very tall, thin and those boobs, so I imagined it's not easy finding stuff that will fit her.  For example, she had a dress on today that was slightly above her knees.  I know that when I wear certain dresses/skirts, the back is sometimes higher because the size of my butt causes the garment to rise up. 

With Wendy's proportions, I would assume that some of her skirts/dresses would be shorter in the front, having to compensate for those implants, and so far, I haven't seen this fashion faux pas happen to her.  Either Wendy has an awesome stylist that knows what will work best for her frame, or she has a tailor furiously adapting her outfits for great fit.

After seeing Sunny and Sara from The View in Wendy's audience for Friday's show it made me look at her taping schedule. I know her Friday shows aren't live. I found it interesting that she was doing two days of double taping for this week though. Wendy was supposed to be on The View Friday and was a no show. They never removed her scheduled appearance picture from their website either. So it must have been a last minute thing.

Wendy's advice to that journalist who is being hit on was AWFUL. I mean, horrid. First Wendy suggested that the husband go beat up the guy that texted her then said she shouldn't have told her husband. Wendy was really all over the place and it was so clear she didn't have a clear answer to the woman's dilemma. Which is understandable because in my opinion there is not always a one size fits all answer to every situation. Still, I wish Wendy would stop acting like she knows everything when it comes to sexual harrassment or really harrassment in general because she doesnt.

 

I actually really liked that wig that she had on though. I thought it was quite flattering.

Oh, Wendy is no stranger to sexual harrassment. It's claimed that her skanky husband has had several sexual harrassment allegations against him so I would say Wendy knows how to quietly buy her husband's way out of sexual harrassment lawsuits.

I gotta say, I didn't think the Ivana interview was as bad as I thought it would be. She was sort of engaging - though at some points it was hard to follow what she was saying. Though I had to laugh when she had the audacity to say her kids don't lie or cheat. Girl, bye. 

On today's show, Wendy said trump was mad she wrote a book. I also love that she had Melania so bothered regarding the First Lady remark. Too delicious.

Maybe she got nervous about them questioning her marital drama and decided to cancel? I don't think I've seen her on any show since Big Kev got caught out with the mistress.

Me too, I don't get it. She gives terrible advice and she tends to contradict things she's said before but the one she gave to the jounalist student was the worst ever. I mean, that was terrible.

I really hope that lady dismissed Wendy's lame ass advice and was able to get REAL help.

Wendy is the worst at giving out advice. I often feel that people who ask her for advice on TV, just want to be seen on TV. I always shake my head, whenever I see people do that. Perhaps, it is because I am so private and I don't understand why somebody would want to put their private business out there.

Thanks! That was a drop the mic moment by 50, he is extremely thin-skinned and Wendy should be able to take it, since she dishes it out everyday.  I know his vicious tweet really hit Wendy hard. Wendy is very insecure about her looks..

I was in a car dealership this morning, waiting for my car to be worked on; Wendy was on the tv in the waiting room.  Sorry to say, she had Countess LuAnn on and I couldn't hear a thing they were saying due to the dealership playing loud, peppy music.  Since I only catch Wendy's show once in awhile, I am not all that familiar with her hair and make-up looks.   I digress.

With the sound inaudible, I could only observe Wendy.  She could have passed for Michael Jackson's twin!  The nose, eye make-up, etc.  I have no idea how to incorporate pictures and such into a comment, but if I had just escaped from being held hostage for 20 years on another planet, I would have sworn I was watching Michael Jackson in a dress with chest implants.  Her hair was kind-of pulled back, too.  Has anyone ever discussed the resemblance on this board?  Another thought...maybe the tint was off on the tv; LuAnn looked orange with her make-up piled on really heavy.

Wendy isn't perfect but 50 Cent's response and reaction was ugly. He's wrong for publicly celebrating not paying child support (where his son could see something like that) and more wrong for the "side chick" comment. 50 Cent should really be above that low life trashiness but it seems nowadays the more money you make, the less class you have.

Thank god you didn't hear it.  Wendy was incredibly rude with the Countess, not angry or confrontational but she kept interrupting the Countess while she was actually trying to explain why she divorced her husband.  A topic Wendy has been talking about for the last two years, now you have a guest trying to give you the truth.  Wendy has always been one of those people who enjoys the gossip of a situation much more than the actual truth.

I am new to this particular board...probably should have posted my Wendy/Michael Jackson comments on The Woman and her fashions...  Funny thing about not letting Countess Luann talk (now glad I didn't hear it) because last week when she had Vicki (from OC Housewives) on, they just chatted away.  Whatever you might think of The Countess...looks and clothes-wise, she certainly outclasses Vicki.  Well, almost anyone would.
