I doubt Sheri will last if she gets the show.  Comedians don’t do well, like Nick Cannon.  I love him on stage, but a show is too much for him.  I heard he will be out.  Nick and Sheri both are too loud and all over the place.  Like rapid fire.  One thing I liked about Wendy is she took her time talking, and that’s what we need in the morning.  To me, she was soothing, drinking her tea and talking slowly.  These other two are like machine guns, one joke after another.  I won’t watch then.  Michae was and is an Actor for many years and knows what’s good, IMO.

I really like Michael R.  Never have seen him in a movie.  I just like him.  I don’t know any thing about the Real housewives franchise which is his specialty but I like his energy.  I’d watch him more than Sherri.  Sherri’s big boobs and thirsty for a man is tired and last century.

Yup, the one story that sticks in my mind is her taking about her son's erections as a toddler, insinuating that he was getting aroused over seeing a picture of Beyonce. I was mortified for Sherrie and her son.  Sherrie did not realize that little boys getting erections is normal and it has nothing to do with being sexually aroused. Baby boys in utero get erections..

Mother’s should never talk about their son’s sexuality. Period. It’s beyond embarrassing for the child. Exceptions made for medical reasons and again that should be kept private. 
 

I finally got to view today I enjoyed watching. Michael Rappaport comes to HT prepared and bang…goes seamlessly from subject to subject. He did a good review of last night’s RHONJ finale. Great pacing. He even was able to rein in Leah from RHONYC during their couch chat. She is doing press for her new book and I’m sure even the publisher’s PR even told her to mind her manners and word usage. She was dressed conservatively. 
 

Today MR  brought a clip of him acting with Megan Markle. It was from ages ago, but still. He kept the focus on what was being watched. Not himself. In my perfect world he would be host. If his schedule is so busy I’d even be happy with three days per week and scheduling a guest host (tryouts if you will to be his permanent cohost). 
 

   This leads me to a thought. We already know that Sherri has been given a contract for a show beginning the new season…September I think. Is it Wendy’s production company? Or the other one that held her contract?  I think WW or another production company should snap up MR and do a similar show and complete against Sherri’s new show. I wonder who would win in the ratings? Too bad Sherri has already snagged Wendy’s old staff. Norman and Michael together hosting would be a dream show.

I stumbled upon a movie from 1997 "Cop Land" with Michael Rappaport. 

He was cast with some big time actors. Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro. MR was 25 years younger and looked different but you could still see a resemblance. (Much like all of us!)  My point is,as I've said before, that MR has some serious acting cred and probably isn't interested in being WW replacement. Even I would turn it down! 😂 WW is bad juju.

In the first picture she looked like she was wearing a sundress, but either the straps needed to be shortened or they couldn’t support her ample breasts. She wore a top under it, but I don’t think the wine color matched the rainbow colors of the dress. She was smiling and completed her look with multi colored sneakers. The second thing I saw (which was posted by her date Jason Lee on Instagram, but available if you goggle her name) was him introducing her. She had added Playboy type bunny ears to her outfit (I swear I saw them on some other attendee) and slurred some comment. Yes, I think she was drinking or using by that time of the evening. She was also sporting a very smoky eye. The make up was a good distraction from how red, dilated, or half open they might be. I have no faith in her ability to sober up. Mind you, I wouldn’t judge her save she said she had a problem once and was being treated for it. If she was a normal star and got drunk…no problem. They have a right to have fun however they choose. Also with her alleged “health” issues I don’t think getting wasted is a smart option overall. So to answer your question on if I saw her on the Chit Chat thread, the answer is yes. I watched him in a movie today with big name stars.  Also in “Beautiful Girls” which I have in dvd.  He made many good movies.  You are right.  I don’t think he cares about being a host.  Besides, Wendy looked pretty good at the Met.  I wouldn’t count her out yet.  I will never watch Sheri.  Too loud and hyper.  Wendy’s dress was horrible.  Doesn’t she have a stylist?  Should have worn black.  Also looks like she had some serious work done on her face.

She’s still young enough to sit in a chair and give the tea if she really wanted to.  She would have years left if she would sober up and quit the shit.  Go to a facility and straighten out already.  Big Ken is over.  Get with it already.  Enough.

That ^^^ was WW at the Met Gala. I have no idea who is standing next to her but he looks wasted. Wendy's "dress" is hideous.

It's astonishing how Wendy only wakes up from her alcohol and drug binges when she is in fear of losing her job.

I don't think there are any major advertisers who are willing to use her to endorse their products. She's a huge liability.

I also saw another picture of her going into Fresca. A restaurant owned by the Scotto Family in NYC She is with Rosanna Scotto in the picture. She has on SHORT shorts, a trendy Louis Vuitton bag, and although her boots are visible per se, they look like Uggs. Comfortable yes. Going to an exclusive restaurant (where you know she called the paps ahead of time to get that shot) where seats are only for the elite…no. She must have had an influx of cash (Or won something in court so Wells Fargo opened up her account a bit). This is her PR working and they cost 💲. Lots of bucks 💲💲

The gossip site DListed has more Met Gala stuff and Wendy talking nonsense about coming back to TV later this year.  She needs to face the reality that she may be back on TV as a guest on some random talk show, but the odds of her getting another show are about zippo.

Found this dropped on a gossip site - a video clip of Wendy guesting on Fat Joe's podcast which is now on Youtube.  I didn't watch it but I read the YT comments and they are a mix of sympathy for Wendy and people saying that she is in a bad way.  The consensus of comments are split between "poor Wendy, I hope she gets help" and "what drugs are she on?!".  People are also chastising Fat Joe for putting Wendy on when she does not seem to be in the right frame of mind to be speaking publicly.  

Apparently, she rambles and changes topics mid-conversation, like she did back when she was on the air but it looks worse because of her recent troubles.  Wendy is still on the "I'm coming back to TV!" train and now says she is completely broke due to the bank still holding her funds.

Michael Rappaport has made tons of movies.  Watch “Beautiful Girls”.  Big cast, he’s in it.  You will love it.

WOW .. watching today (Monday).  LeaRemini gave a big chop to Suzanne and embarrassed her.  After that, I didn’t see her on camera anymore.  She was probably pissed.

Yahoo News has a story that Wendy wants a sit-down meeting with Sherri to talk about Wendy coming back.  This continuing circus of Wendy being propped up and talking about the show is so ludicrous and it's increasingly sad to see Wendy being so off the rails.  Here is a snippet from the article:  "Her attorney LaShawn Thomas adds, "Wendy requesting to have a sit down with Sherri to have a meeting of the minds is the perfect solution as she has no ill will or intent. Wendy is preparing to get her show back in motion."  FYI, I cut and paste from the website, so all the bad grammar is theirs. 

Another quote:  However, Williams's publicist, Shawn Zanotti, did call out Shepherd for health-shaming the Wendy Williams Show host.  "I personally feel that it is difficult to wish a person well, which Sherri did," during an Instagram Live over the weekend, "while attempting to health-shame them at the same time, especially since Wendy was the one who created multiple platforms that gave Sherri several opportunities," Zanotti says. "Wendy is an icon and should be respected as such."

Does Wendy not understand that Sherri is a hired employee and that she isn't going to fire herself because Wendy thinks she can stroll back in and start hosting again?  Both of these Wendy reps seem to imply that Sherri is just being a "mean girl" to Wendy and instead should be kissing her feet.  This whole situation is crazy and that attorney is probably just there to collect a paycheck because this is not going to end in Wendy's favor.   The whole article is here

Friday,   Apparently, people have complained about how awful Michelle and Leah have been all this week.  They both copped a plea that they do not do Hot Topics.  They rather talk about themselves and their lives so they said.  They were very adamant about that.  They both think their Schtick about marriage and sharing their lives makes more sense.  The viewers don’t agree.  I guess they got their information from Social Media?  I don’t do that stuff.  Anyone here?  It must have hit a nerve as Leah was a bit more quieter today.  Yikes, another week?

First, let me say that up until today, Leah was WAY too loud. Not that she was whispering today, but for her, it was an improvement (as it relates to this show). Leah is Leah, and she's never going to change...love her, or leave her.

That said, I can understand why she doesn't want to do a Wendy-like "hot topics". Most celebrities don't like 'reporting' on other celebrities, and Leah already has enough backlash dealing with Scientology.

I don't think enough people watched this. Wendy was really unbalanced in this interview. If her goal was to show she is mentally well to reclaim her show & control of her Wells Fargo accounts--- this did the opposite. Fat Joe was trying to reign her in, but seemed perplexed by her at times. As her friend, he should not have let her go on in that state. She didn't even understand that she was doing a live interview.

I think Leah does better with a bit more structure when working on TV shows. She's a good host of the game show I mentioned previously. It has a script and structure to follow which also allows her to go of it a few times each episode but not enough to where it would cause issues. If it does they have time to edit things out unlike when she and Michelle are hosting this show. Mike and the issues being discussed probably helped ground Leah during the run of their A&E show about Scientology.
