I'm out, too. I just can't. It stopped being about teen pregnancy. It stopped being about the kids. Now with Brianna DeJesus joining TM2, and this laughable "Being Matt" special, it's not even about the moms anymore. It's famewhoring to a degree that makes me want to refuse to watch. 

As soon as that preview came on, I saw Amber's face and I just got angry. I can only hope the cameras are there when she is screaming for Matt from the couch, not realizing he up and left days before, leaving her with several piles of dog shit, fake autographed guitars, and old lady cabana wear. Then I will start watching again. 

But I'll always come here for the snarky cliff notes!

Oh, don't sell Cate short. She gets off the couch at least twice a week to drop Nova off at April's (she doesn't have to pick her up, April probably brings her back after 2-3 days, and Cate probably beats April back to April's house dropping her off again).

Snark and laughs is good.

I know the kids on this show pay the ultimate price. But their lives would not change if the cameras were not around and the show stopped. If anything, things might get worse.

I didn't watch this last season and I think I saw a few minutes of a couple episodes of TM2 this season.  I still come here and read all of your posts but I cant watch anymore. I seriously feel nothing but anger and disgust when I watch them. A few minutes of Chelsea, as much as I like her, just isn't worth feeling pissed off for an hour.  

You all that still watch are stronger than me.

I'm not sure I can watch this new season of the OG's either. I definitely would FF through Farrah's segments since I don't care about her at all and I don't like the rest of them either. They're kids that have just gotten too much too fast and that's made them insufferable. They've had good fortune and opportunities most of us can only dream of and they have done nothing with it, in terms of education,employment or bettering themselves in some way.  (Except for Farrah's businesses.) Most of them just sit around on their couches and complain or pop out more kids. And their so-called book writing is mostly done by ghostwriters, so that's not even real. Sad to say, but this show has jumped the shark for me.

There are some shows I gave up watching just because they were just unbearable. Not even the snark was worthy of watching. TMOG and TM1 remain on my watch list just because of these boards. The snark and the laughs are the best thing about these shows. I also am thankful about this forum being a place that so many feel comfortable with sharing personal experiences. Coming here and reading your personal experiences you all shared including your your pregnancies and the babies that have been born in these past 7 years and for those who have struggled trying to get pregnant, it can be pretty emotional. I feel emotionally invested and I can't cut the cord.

Yeah, I watch the shows wondering what everyone here is going to say, and how much I'll laugh at the recaps (those things are comedy gold). 

I'm also ridiculously invested in people like Amber and Catelynn. I just can't turn away from the proverbial car crash.

me too. I just can't with Lazy and Lazier and Boozier. Farrah is Farrah but the way the other act I just can't get behind the show or continue to watch this shit.

If Amber's court docs are correct, then they all earn about $250K per season.  That must mean they have earned millions off this show (before taxes), not to mention all the side opportunities.

Because none of them change in any way, you can actually appreciate the snark without sitting through the torture of the show.  It comes down to Farrah is a nasty liar who is awful to everyone, but hardworking, Cate is lazy and dirty, Amber is lazy, dirty, and horrible, Maci's the best mom, when she is not partying, but it's a low bar, and why the hell is Tyler and Matt on this thing?  You can also add an occasional, " Has Matt stolen all of Amber's money, yet...or how much is Simon being paid to put up with Farrah"?  Maybe with a sprinkle of "What type of drugs is Ryan on", just for old time sakes.

This is it...nothing else changes, besides the houses they live in and the shiny new cars they drive.

Amber made $250k, but it seems it is not the same for the rest of the girls. Farrah has to be paid the most. MTV needed her when the rest (Cate, Amber, Maci) were too boring and the ratings stank. Farrah (through her agent) had to make sure MTV paid her enough to return to the show. Chelsea is hardly shown on the show. MTV is not going to pay her the same as the others for less work.

It's funny, despite her having the most stable two parent middle class home at the time of pregnancy...you could argue that Farrah was the one whose life is most changed by the show.

The other girls are probably exactly where they would be minus the show, the only difference is that now they have tons of money.  Maci, would still be on miracle baby three without a degree, Amber would be a useless slob glomming onto any man who gives her any attention, Cate would be surrounded by her many siblings by her mama (probably all having different daddies) and desperately trying to keep Tyler's waning interest.

Farrah would probably be a sous chef in a restaurant, who would have matured and been humbled by her teen mom circumstances.  She might have actually had a stable job and a healthy relationship.  She certainly would not be a plastic surgery addicted porn  (sorry sex tape) star desperately holding on to fame.

Cuticle Cate looks like she has Kate Gosselin's possum bangs glued to the side of her 5 head. Plus, Sophia will never not need a haircut or style. That kids hair is 50 shades of mess.

It seems that way to me too, but who knows with the wonky editing. She should be grateful Bentley has caring Grandparents that want to spend as much time as they can with him. Shit my MIL lives 30 min away and sees my little ones every couple of months!

And she does it for free!!!!! All these TMs with free babies sitters in the form of family, friends, & baby daddies' mamas who will watch babies that aren't even related to her for free drives me insane (maybe because our family is over an hour away and work and I spend a fortune in childcare for an infant and toddler....and have to pay babysitters if we have an adults-only outing or just forgo the adults-only outing).

I'm on the fence about if I'll watch, I'll definitely read here, but I'm not sure I will watch myself. 

On twitter I'm just over it. I don't like Farrah, I think she treats others horrible, has way too high of an opinion of herself and thinks her shit doesn't stink...but I'm so tired of Maci, Amber, and Cate and their minions dumping on her.  I just saw Cate posted about the show coming on in 2 days, and the majority of the comments were about not wanting Farrah on the show... MTV tried that, it didn't work. They just have an unnatural hate of her, they all 3 put so much focus on hating her that it makes me dislike them more than her, like deliberately leaving her out and excluding her makes them seem worse than her. Farrah isn't innocent, and I think the thing that annoys me most is that by default it makes Farrah my "favorite" (maybe I should say the one I hate least). Like the teen mom 2 girls obviously don't like Jenelle, but they don't generally go out of their way to trash her (she does that just fine on her own) and hang out without her.  

I really need to get a life if this bothers me so much.
