2 things....

 

First that wasn't much of an engagement.... I guess with being jobless she had more time to plan it

 

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie just got married..... I wonder if one had to do with the other.

 

Oh.... as a side note.... I think I heard the "news report" that they got married 3 times..... oddly enough..... not one time did they report the couple didn't get married previously because of the gay marriage issue..... I seem to recall that they didn't want to get married until gay marriage was legal.

Fans were suspecting it would be now as she had mentioned she wanted it before school started. I did see Donnie this week on set and even though I have still have doubts about this marriage lasting...I can't pretend he isn't happy. (He had said to a mutual friend he's less stressed and his hair is growing back in.) All I can do is hope it works out.

I wish them all the best, but I'm afraid you can put me in the doubters column on this one as well. I'm thinking this union will last 2 to 5 years max. 5ish if they spend a lot of time apart; 2ish if they spend a lot of time together. Guess we'll just have to watch his hairline for signs.

Wedding is in Chicago: Donnie's stylist posted on FB that he landed a few hours ago and "a friend of a friend who saw someone post on their FB page because they know the wedding planner" said it will be in the St Charles area.

Yes, I was thinking we should place our bets on whether it will last as "long" as Sherri's second marriage lasted.

 

I totally agree with you on the 2 to 5 years max, and the reasoning for the shorter length or longer length.

I don't think you're missing anything. If it's all true, it certainly gives the impression that the groom's family is not exactly going out of their way to celebrate this union.

Coincidentally, Alex Wagner (MSNBC) and Sam Kass (the Obama's chef) are also getting married this weekend at a gorgeous farm/restaurant venue outside of NYC in what is sure to be a beautiful, happy event. The Obamas are said to be attending. Now that's a wedding I'd be happy to see. Jenny's and Donnie's....eh, not so much.

That TMZ link has a clip from Howard's show. Howard asked her how many people will be at the wedding and Jenny said about 80. Then he asked if Mark Wahlberg will be at the wedding and Jenny said she would imagine yes.

 

Howard said he heard that Mark doesn't approve of her and Jenny said that it's not true, she's happy to say. Howard asked if Jenny has met Mark and Jenny replied yes she has, and his wife too and they are very lovely.

 

Then Jenny said let her explain why he (Donny) is the one, but Howard cut her off and told her not to run away from the Mark Wahlberg question. Jenny said that's not true, it's not true (about Mark not approving). Howard insisted that Mark, at first, was against her being with Donny, and Jenny said, no, she swears on her life that's not true, that from day one he's been so awesome.

 

Howard asked about when she met Mark and Jenny said it was a couple of months ago. Howard asked if it was at Mark's house and Jenny said they keep talking about Mark, but she got the best Wahlberg. Howard made a crack about whether Mark "popped a rod" when they met and Jenny said she didn't notice. She just kept blabbing on that she has the best guy, he's the one, etc.

 

 

I remember a while back someone posted here about Mark's wife's Twitter. She was posting about Jenny on Twitter, apparently not happy that Jenny said they would be at the wedding. I'm not sure if it's this Stern interview that got her angry.

She was on Howard Stern's show this morning.  I don't have Sirius XM, but the one thing I gathered was when she was asked if she was fired from the show she said "Yes and No."  Uh...that normally means yes.

  

Her new job is going to Sirius XM.

 

 Then, this post:

Hell, she's cracking me up about the wedding plans. People.com reports that on Saturday she said it will be in a few weeks...just one day after she said they're Still working on the guest list. This morning it went back to a few months. Make up your mind!

I remember checking that tweet out at the time, but I see it's since been deleted. I think maybe more tweets were deleted too. The only remaining one is the one I quoted above. I remember more tweets and she had fans replying to the tweets.

Honestly, I think his daughter's 11th birthday party is a bullshit excuse. The wedding date had to have been known months ago and they could have had the birthday party the weekend before or the weekend after, IF they really did want to attend the wedding.

 

Looks like they at least had nice weather today.

Thanks for the link, mtlchick.  The fit of that dress is kind of a shame - a shelf with her breasts and then the poochie stomach.  I wasn't expecting that look.

 

But then there's Sherri's - what the hell is that dress?  A parachute, a weird man's shirt?  Me thinks that Miss Sherri has put on a few pounds.

Yikes. I am personally not a huge fan of strapless wedding dresses, and Jenny is certainly a beautiful woman, but that ill fitting, unattractive bodice looks cheap and very unflattering on her. Looks like the wedding got rained on a bit as well. Oops.

My bigger question is, WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HELL IS SHERRI WEARING?? It looks like she took a giant drawstring canvas bag, flipped it upside down, left the drawstrings hanging down and cut arm and neck holes in it. Where was her infamous style team when she was making that unfortunate choice? Wow.

A wedding dress should be a bit more elegant. Jenny's dress does not look right. Big boobs, coming out of the dress, the stupid crunching on the side.

Sherri's dress? I thought at first she was carrying a man's jacket in front of her, with the drawstring hanging down. What a crappy dress. And yeah, the photo from the side view shows that she has gained a lot of weight.

The national weather forecast I heard called for rain off and on throughout the holiday weekend, but you're right, the big umbrellas absolutely could've been an attempt to block photos. I hadn't thought of that. If that was the goal, clearly they were not entirely successful.

The dress is ugly and I have to say, she was a goofy looking bride.  The dress didn't fit and was over fussy....the boobs....good lord......not attractive...just bulging out everywhere.

 

Maybe I am being so judgemental because I have a certain amount of pity for women who feel the need to inject basketballs into their bodies and then flaunt them as if that is all they have to offer.  She is pretty and seems smart - certainly in comparison to bitsy and sherri - such a lazy way to try to get somewhere. 

 

I know I am in a minority, so I'll shut up and just say that IMO, the dress, hair and makeup did nothing for an attractive middle aged woman on her wedding day. he is smart enough to know what effect she wants to create and how to get it, so I guess she got the look she wanted.

On the show, they had someone come on and show Jenny a few dresses.  a couple of them looked better than what she chose.

 

 I agree, I hate that fake boobs are becoming the norm for celebs, and it's sad that women and girls are seeing that as normal.   Strapless dresses look good on very few women.  I went to a wedding where a plus-sized bride wore a strapless beaded and lace dress, and she looked awful, because of the expanse of flesh across her shoulders, arms and chest.  strapless also looks bad on some women who are a DD cup or larger. 

Jenny would have looked better in a dress with a strap or sleeve, something elegant, not a dress where you're wondering if a nipple is going to pop out.

The pics I saw were not full front, but side shots, and I mentioned she looked sway backed - pooch tummy and hunched back. Now that someone said they filmed the ceremony for a tv show I realize that the "hunch" on the back was probably a microphone pack. those side shots were not her friend!

All I can see in the photo both of them posted early this morning on Twitter was "My God her face" (she has deleted it from her feed since then.)

Also her "threat" of having something competing against The View is happening: her radio show will be weekdays in the fall. She can easily fill up 30 minutes just by doing play by play snark about the Hot Topics on the View that morning.

Wow, did she have prewedding work done or something or is it just a funky camera angle? Her face suddenly looks like a Barbie doll.

Yeah, I was just barely watching the coverage of this on Entertainment Tonight or some such bullshit and that was the first thing that stood out to me -- her face!  She definitely did something to her face.  My guess is fillers.  Lots & lots of fillers.  Lips & face.  She has now ventured into the plastic-porn look.  Classy.

I always noticed on The View that Jenny seemed to have a kind of humped back.  She needs to stop dieting so much and take some calcium.  And she kind of has a poochie stomach which looks odd with the big boobs.
