I believe that's Maddie behind Holly towards the right, and it's hard to tell but that could be Kelsey to the right of the light blue tank top (Mandy?)

Thanks for the welcome :) 'No one gives a toss / not giving a toss' is such a good phrase ;) You're more than welcome, haha! Yeah I love all the different opinions on here. Everyone has their faves that they're willing to fight for and that's what makes it interesting!

@heatherrrrz thanks for those details! I don't disagree with you - Holly does seem very friendly and bubbly and all that jazz (lol). I just don't think she has that grounded sense of maturity (no offence intended, she's quite young!) and the altruism that I think is really important for leadership positions. Then again, she could grow into the position, if she gets it. Who knows!

I literally thought the class was just Holly's group until I went on twitter and saw Kelli posted a full class video. I was like dang that can't be who's staying next year lol

Interesting take - Charlotte's assistant.  I wonder how much Charlotte actually does as "president" of the Cheerleaders. Kinda seems like a vanity title, you know like the Kardashians being the "executive producers" of their many reality shows. She is very busy with things that have higher stakes and major financial implications, I don't think the cheerleaders are high on the list of her daily to-do and she has a great leader in Kelli.

woooo like a chief of staff  type of role.  That would be a great job and have good potential for growth and upward mobility!

Oh definitely, I guess this is more for the not so sure girls/rookies. I don't want to wait until swimsuit calendar time to guess around based on who's in it like last year. :P

Another long time lurker, finally made an account to comment since I read Jen is retiring (NOOO). Greetings everyone!! Been loving all your comments and insiders info!! I have much thoughts... esp around my fav 4th year vets.

PLEASE DONT RETIRE JENNIFER K AND JINELLE, I LOVE YOU TWO!! I can't think of two rookies I cheered on more. Over the years, their love and dedication to the dcc organization continues to be strong and feel genuine to me as a nobody-the-potato-couch. My hope is Jinelle will stay for 1 more year since she was 2nd group leader this year. 

Jen squashed my hope for her when she announced her retirement. Darn it! I find Jen very endearing, an amazing dancer, and very professional. She's probably one of my fav point girl to date. She doesn't have a goddess body type like Holly or Nicole or Rookie Mandy, but her body is pretty hot too (just shorter) and Jen makes up for it with her dancing and killer expressions. I loved Jen in pretty much all dance clips, my eyes were glued to her during the half-time special.

Plus, Jen seems very neutral and a team player. Take the rotating point girls, since when did that happen during game season? Since the year after Jen's rookie year, Jenna always danced behind Jennifer. This is why I am pretty sure Jennifer was the top choice for point but Jenna wanted a share of the pie (can't blame her), so Jennifer diplomatically discussed with Kelly and Judy to rotate. If it was just based on charisma and dance skills, why didn't they rotate Jacie and Holly? In Jacie's last year, she blossomed into such a beautiful young lady and was just as strong dancing contendor as Holly, who had already been at point for a whole year already.

And argh, Jennifer should stay because the next team seems young, they will need her leadership!!! Some of you are giving me hope that she might change her mind, so I will pray. If Jen stays, then she can be in the triangle with Erica and Melissa, and Jinelle and Holly and Lacey can be in a row behind!

Okay I'll stop my Jen-love now lol, I know some of you think she is over rated but I truly think she is an amazing dcc and truly (and uncreepily) love her (and Jinelle)!!

Actually one more post.... re:PBC. It sounds like some of you had doubts that Jen won the fan vote but I can see it happened easily. Many of fans probably had their top choice or top 2, and if they needed another, they probably clicked Jen as they knew she would be reliable to be a great rep for dcc.

I myself would have loved Jessica and Jinelle for pbc but Jen deserved it fair and square! So sad that cowboys lost the game, we were so close!

It's nice to see a die hard Jen fan :) I do like her too.  I think her only real fault is she can be a bit of a know it all (or come across that way) but I do think she is a team player (with a lean toward mother hen lol) and has worked really, really hard.  From what I hear she NEVER makes excuses, she makes it happen.  Gotta admire that!  I still stand by that she may decide to come back last minute...I call it 50/50 really LOL  

Jinelle is definitely the mystery to me...I dont know why she wouldn't like to do a fifth year but she may also just be ready to move on and it would be kind of weird to be the ONLY one in your year (tho wasn't Holly Arielle going to be the only fifth year till Angela decided to come back right before auditions?)

Bess ^ lol, she didn't get featured much as well. I always get her mixed up with Tess and Jax too because they all have similar features.

Stories about Megan being a meanie-pants have been told, but I don't remember hearing anything about Amy T.  I wonder what that's about!

Didn't they use Jacie as point at times?  I swear I remember her doing it for the Halloween halftime performance.

I've said it before, but worth mentioning again, if Megan is considering trying out again she's going to have to do some serious body overhaul and I would hate for it to be at unhealthy means. If she's not in shape but still makes TC/the team I'm going to give much more than a toss...

No doubt!  Although she tried out in a MUUMUU this year and still made the team and was called out / highlighted for being amazing.  I think the girl would need to roll in for them to even utter a chastise on weight.  Perfect example of how life isn't fair lol

Hi Laurenbrook, Ive enjoyed reading your inside scoops LOL! Yeah it woukd seem sad and weird esp since Jinelle seems closer with Jen and the 5th year girls and they are all retiring. There's nothing like rookies bond, so it might be tough for Jinelle because the rookies seem so close, but I think she is close with Lacey so she might stay... if only Jennifer and Jinelle would stay together for their 5th year! Maybe one thing that would temp Jinelle aside from her love for the organization and dancing is becoming group 1 leader. Yep Holly was only one left but as a point girl and veteran, there was a high chance she would earn all the remaining honours: group 1 leader, vet of the year, pro bowl, continue being point girl... and she did :D.

Now I am starting to regret that I updated everyone of former DCC Ann (Lux) Long with a link to her Instagram.  She used to keep that on a Private setting a while back, and now I know why.  But seriously they seem like a happy, sweet family.

Rookie Tess is a mash-up of Jax (rounder face) and Bess (long, lean, tall figure), that's we are all getting so confused.

Does Jinelle live with Melissa? I think they are pretty close so I hope she does stay. Hopefully Jinelle, Melissa, Erica & Lacey all stay and they can be group leaders. 

 

As for getting all those girls mixed up.. It's because we see the same girls all the damn time. Claire & Jax were on showgroup this year and hardly saw a peep out of them!

The cheerleaders Twitter posted a nice shot of the triangle and I got my first good look at it. There are a good number of second years at the front of the triangle: jax, kashara, robin, Amy l, and Claire. Heather H, yuko, and Kelli q have pretty prime spots too. Still can't accept that Erica is not up there but she is still visible in thunderstruck in the straight lines, before and after triangle formation. 

I usually don't have problems telling the cheerleaders apart but for some reason this season it was harder to recall their names, besides the obvious ones like Kelsey and Yuko who they focused on heavily.

That choreography SUCKS!  DJ's dance style is so weird- definitely not the style I want to see from an NFL cheerleading squad.

They've always had guest choreographers or various styles in. I don't mind it, and others who are most technical or lyrical can really shine. I think they just want each girl to be well rounded and have access to different dance styles if they can't make it to dance clauses in DFW.

It's a technique class - more about learning how to correctly execute movement, control motions, etc., while feeling the music, than to tell a story or have a really showstopping performance or even be entertaining. This is where you can tell who's really been trained to move their bodies vs. who is just going through motions. Jenn K is impressive here.

But yeah, this would be a snooze fest at halftime, etc.

She looked hot and toned at the past weekend’s half time. Maybe she finally got the weight off.
