It's getting more difficult to watch each episode.

Next week Riley's parents are allowing her fears of sleeping alone be filmed for millions to see forever. In this family, a 5 year old has to earn their keep.  Good luck Riley.

I wonder if they'll talk trash talk her in the talking heads, like usual?

I came here to read the comments because I just couldn't watch it and by the sounds of it, they cried, whined and were unentertaining.  Glad I skipped it.  This show is going to die out.

It makes me absolutely livid how they cut Riley no slack for stuff that makes her a normal child... like sleeping alone in her room. They're making her do it regardless, even though that truly is terrifying for a kid, but when Parker got all scared of riding the horse or the lady asking what kind of CAKE she wants.. she didn't have to face her fears.

They slapped a label on each kid and treat them accordingly. Parker has the anxiety issues and can't deal with , we'll anything. Hazel is treated better than the rest and given the most attention because of her eye problems. Riley is the wild child and treated as such. Not sure about Olivia and Ava, but those two are identical, so there's that.

Se0307, you're right, Riley is a normal child with normal child fears. Lord help us if it was Parker or Hazel that was having nightmares. Omg I'm sure they'd call in a dream interpreter, sleep specialist, a child psychologist, and a shaman to excercise the room of bad spirits. And redo the entire bedroom to make it so much more comfortable to fall asleep.

When, of course, all that is really necessary is to simply have her switch rooms with one of her sisters, so she isn't the one in a room by herself. However, where would the drama be in that solution?

It's crazy!! Why do they blatantly favor Parker & Hazel all. the. time? I guess they're not doing either of those two a favor.. the endless coddling won't serve them well in the end. At least Riley is able to overcome her fears, but seriously? Forcing her to be in her own room in the first place, and then forcing her to sleep alone while she's at the age where she's so scared??  Those beds are all big enough to fit two 5 year olds, let her sleep in one of her sister's rooms for the time being. Then she might actually want to move back into her room on her own accord when she feels ready. That child definitely won't hold herself back - she won't stay dependent longer than she needs to be. I remember being afraid of the dark when I was a kid. Who doesn't?? It's terrifying!

Speaking of coddling.. when they finally made the trip to the eye doctor for Hazel after 10 months and who knows how long of a drive, why didn't they try a little bit harder to actually get a diagnosis instead of letting her hide her face turn? What is the point of taking her if you're not going to get a proper read on what's wrong? But of course, it's poor little Hazel Basil who apparently has all the odds in the world stacked against her 🙄 give me a break.

You're right though. Each kid has a label, even the twins. (though they're definitely always on the back burner), I can't remember which, but I think it was Olivia.. she's the "big one" or the "heavy one". Nice. Hazel is the "disadvantaged one", Parker is the "anxious one", Riley is the "bad one". That's the only time they aren't seen as one entity. What effect are those titles going to have on them in the long run?

Exactly! And remember all of Adumb's pity party regarding Hazels eyes in the earlier years and her being the last one to walk and  therefor not being able to attend school with the rest of the litter? He went on and on about it, and still does. I think his attitude about it is more of a hindrance to her than her eye problems.

I don't mean to sound harsh or cold hearted. I do have empathy for anyone  with a health issue.  My son had severe issues as a toddler, and was diagnosed with Autism. But in the early years all I heard from my mom was pity. "Oh poor Josh", " his life is going to be so hard for him", "what kind of life is he going to have", and on and on. I told her that his life is fine and he is going to have an awesome life!

Yeah and why does Riley have her own room? And why cant she bunk in with her sisters until she feels comfortable going back to her own room? You make really good points. Let's hope that the show is over and done with before the girls hit puberty, otherwise we'll hear all about the embarrassing issues that girls go through. And I really feel bad for Blayke. Who should be referred to as the ignored one.

I think the reason Riley has her own room is that when she shared, she would wake her sisters every night, and was a ringleader in the mischief.   But that could have been another quint, I lost track of who's who a long time ago.

I think they look exactly like Mimi.  Speaking of Mimi, I give her a lot of credit for directing the play.  She did a great job in such a short amount of time.  Most importantly, it was done with tons of love in her heart.

I was astounded when I heard one of the quints (I THINK it was Hazel but it could have been Parker.) call their dad “dada”, while in the van.  I couldn’t believe my ears.  What five year old still refers to their father that way?   Dada is usually one of the first utterances of a baby when they can verbally identify their father.

Happy to see Blayke receive her new work station for school.  It was so nice to see her be the special daughter, for a change.  It may very well happen for her many times in their private lives but we rarely see it on the Outdaughtered episodes.  (I was also glad to see her overnight birthday party featured on the last episode, too.)

Let me add, Danielle is a spoiled brat....about almost everything.

I don't know why I allow myself to watch this foolishness.  Today they are moving from the mold-house.   The quints are 3? and they still need an elaborate bedtime routine, including warmed milk and noise machines?  When do they plan to stop that?  Newsflash, Danielle, you don't need to tear the house apart looking for the noise machines. I'm sure you can find an app for your Apple devices.

I am watching that rerun as I am typing this. Adumb and Danielle treat them like babies, and as I've mentioned here many times already her baby talk is so annoying! Lol. The warmed milk and sound machine is just over the top. Omg! I am shaking my head, I don't even know what to say about that.

I just watched the pathetic ending to that episode. Danielle is crying and saying the girls are so sad and miss their old home and it's hard to explain to a 3 year old why they had to pick up and move. Oh shut up Danielle. The girls are laughing and having a good time. They can care less about the mold house.

Also, while at the mold house, Danielle slipped and said something like do you girls want to paint your new playroom like this? Why would they paint a rented house? They are big liars. Yes I believe there was a mold problem but just say you wanted to buy a bigger house. Everything is a storyline.

Yes! When they moved to the new house, I knew it wasn't just for six months. I knew it was to be permanent. I also caught Danielle's slip up about painting the new house. Danielle really enjoys arguing with Adumb. He had genuine concerns about the rent, and rightly so because he's the only breadwinner, so all of the financial falls on him. He will just have to work harder/longer hours. Danielle's annoying it- will -all- work- out attitude is flippant and childish. She doesn't even let him finish a sentence before talking over him. Unless all of this is for the camera.

She is very dismissive of him and his feelings/concerns etc. And I don't think that part is a front for the show. I think that's just her.

Oh our poor spoiled litter will have to wake up in a new house and look at white walls, will have to play in a huge yard, will have to use the new pool. Omg, our poor under privileged, spoiled whiny brats. Boo hoo.

Ok, end of rant. For now. Lol

I watched Adam's instagram story... He and his germy, maskless brood (all 7 of them) went to a trampoline park. I get that the mask requirements were lifted there (stupid, but that's a different subject), but to bring 6 kids and himself to a place where snotty, drooly hands touch everything just sounds very irresponsible.

These kids are so damn spoiled. Their "mini vacation" is over and since it's still spring break, those precious little princesses just had to go somewhere else. If they didn't, they'd just be sOoOoOo bored.

My word the whining over which school these kids will go to by both the adults and kids was a bit much. Many people had no options over WHICH school or if there was going to be in person school at all last fall. Everyone just bucked up and did what they had to do whether it was what they wanted to do or not. Damn these people think they get live in a perfect world.

Unreal, right? I would have told them that they were going back to the school that they've been at and that they're very lucky to be able to spend their kindergarten in a classroom with other kids, because so many other children won't have that luxury. To even tolerate the tears and the whining is to enable their behavior. Why not teach them to be grateful for what they DO have, not to constantly complain about what they DON'T have.

I saw an old episode this morning. Danielle had to have her wisdom tooth taken out. It was so scripted. I've seen this episode before but I just realized that Danielle and Adam are reading from a script in their talking heads. The stupid jokes are written for them and I am convinced that Danielle puts eye drops in her eyes to cry.

I didn't understand why she decided to have her wisdom teeth pulled right before Christmas.  I know she explained it was to have it done right away, but it's monumentally stupid to get that done right before Christmas and then whine about the pain and noise while your kids are trying to enjoy Christmas.

No season without health scare with these two. Maybe Danielle's mysterious illness will be disclosed on the seasons's finale. Or, much better yet, it will be a cliffhanger. Anything to keep the folks interested. I guess, next season it will be Adam's turn to get sick again. And, of course, they can always rely on Hazel's nystagmus and it seems Parker has an underbite that needs to be taken care of.

Well, they will expect the dentist to comp the orthodontia in exchange for free advertising.

They've beaten the nystagmus storyline to death already, so they'll have to come up with something more interesting than that. If they make it about Parker's underbite, maybe she'll refuse to open her mouth for the orthodontist like she did at the dentist, which is in itself not interesting anymore because it's unacceptable behavior at this age. Maybe they'll go back to Adam's PPD instead.

I loved watching this show from the beginning HOWEVER I thought I would have to stop when it became the Hazel show! I only watch now because of Riley.  She is the smartest out of all of them including Danikate (Danielle and Kate Gosselin) and Adam.  For a long time I have wished they would give Riley to someone who can guide her as she is going to be someone instrumental one day. What is she going to think one day when she watches this show and hear how bad she is. Remember Adam trying to get her to spell bad.  Someone needs to tell them Riley did not invent tantrums.

News  flash to these parents   It is easy to be the sweet and good Hazel wen you so blatantly favor her over the other 4 and the best part you put it out on film!!  Another Adam saying Hazel is the good one  no Hazel is a BRAT   How many times do we see the other girls get yelled at for doing something to Hazel and how many times do we see Hazel doing something to one of the girls and nothing gets said.  On tape we even have Dale saying Hazel is his favorite.  Keep babying Hazel and giving into her at every turn and see how that works for you when she gets older.

In summary I say  Riley for President!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates watching Adam and Danielle talk about Hazel's eyes and watch them going to Hazel's eye doctor visits. The visits have all been the same since Hazel got her surgery. The doctor says something like watch Hazel's eyes and take note if she is looking too far to the left. I'm beginning to wonder if the eye doctor is really an actress and they are on set for the visits. How can they think the majority of the audience enjoys watching a kid at the doctor?

They are lucky those girls are staying in their cozy little private school this year. That gives their parents the chance to teach the quints to treat people like they want to be treated. Like that will ever happen.

I wonder what Adam and Danielle are going to complain about tonight.

I felt sorry for Riley tonight, the poor girl really didn't want to sleep alone in the dark.  Have they never heard of a night light?  It may have worked for her.  Kudos to Blayke for helping her in a way her idiot parents couldn't.

I'm pretty sure that masks were required in Texas in October.  While shopping for Halloween costumes Adam, Danielle, and Blayke were wearing masks but none of the quints were.  They're 5 and we know they will wear masks when required.  They were in a store where dozens of people have been handling the merchandise.  Logic doesn't seem to work in adult Busby brains.

It was nice to see Adam's parents.

Yes. It was nice to see them. They bring a level of common sense that seems to escape the other adults.  🙏 for full recovery for his arm. Notice how his dad talks about everything/everyone else - the community, the damage , showing empathy.

Danielle must didn't have time to wash clothes (or get Amazon pkgs) if the girls wore different dresses to school - one day.

Near which hurricane did Adam start getting ready for Halloween? He seem to talk about Halloween longer than the hurricane was...The way he gets so over zealous about Halloween, creeps me out more that his inventions/intentions.

Wonder how long the HOA let them keep strung up garbage bags, 8 feet high, in the front yard. I mean a house has a back yard for a reason..

Riley had 3/4 of a show to talk about her sleeping issues, Jessa had/has quite few where its all about her & her growing family.

Head money maker for the show...Kuddos for Blayke for finding her big girl voice and reasoning skills.

Is it sign up time for another season?   There certainly are a lot of articles about different issues on the show appearing recently.   THat usually seems to happen about the time that shows are renewed.

I find it bizarre that Danielle isn't getting referred to somewhere like M.D. Anderson for a complete workup, when it's right there in Houston.   Instead it seems to be one specialist at a time, instead of a comprehensive workup at a world class diagnostic hospital.

I don’t know if it’s the same there, but where I am you have to be “sick enough” for a major medical center to take you on.  That might be the situation here.

I've been over that since about season 3. Interesting thought about "Dr. Megan". I don't understand why they just say "oh she's fighting the head turn!" Tell Hazel to stop pretending nothing is wrong because that's not going to be terribly helpful, especially after 10 months of no appointment.

What? The girls treating others the way they want to be treated? So they need to learn to treat others like princesses that are above everyone else? Lol you're right that will never happen.

Maybe we'll get a glimpse of her "health issues" today. She advertised on her instagram story that's she's getting a colonoscopy tomorrow 🙄

I saw the article about Danielle's "health issues" and particularly enjoyed this quote:

“I think that is the hardest part, is to say, ‘No, I can’t do this for you,’ because I physically can’t. That’s probably the hardest thing to, like, digest, you know, ‘Mommy, let me get on your back, give me piggyback ride.’ And I’m, like, I literally, I can’t do that. I think that’s harder than physically dealing with the pain.”

Maybe her back hurts from carrying 5 year olds around all day. And maybe her headaches are from the kids demanding things like  ‘Mommy, let me get on your back, give me piggyback ride.’ Maybe if they said 'please can you give me a piggyback ride' or stopped screaming and whining constantly her head wouldn't hurt so much. Just a thought. Maybe A&D can teach their kids some manners and her health issues would go away. Morons.

Which medical problem is she hoping to solve by getting one? According to the previews for next week when she was having one of her spells on a zipline, I wouldn't think a colonoscopy would be the procedure of choice..

LOL either the spells or her backache. Maybe a colonoscopy will clear one of both of them up!

Well, I can't see the 1st grade class working, because otherwise they'll throw absolute fits if they can't be in Blayke's school. I doubt they would care why they can't go, but I can see A&D bringing them to that school anyway and making someone teach them from there. Since they base all of their decisions on what those brats want. Like which house to buy...

They suspected a few seasons back that she has Crohn’s.  At the time, she said the dr. did lab work to test for it, but there isn’t a lab test that definitively diagnoses Crohn’s.  Biopsies taken during a colonoscopy is the gold standard for diagnosis, so it could be that they’re finally going that route.  People think that Crohn’s is pretty much GI issues, but it can manifest in a number of ways including arthritis, severe fatigue, eye problems, and others.

I absolutely hate how much Danielle kept bringing up how Riley is scared to sleep in her room. First she put her on the spot and made her tell one of her aunt's why she was scared, then when they were talking about Halloween decorations, Danielle says "we can't make it too scary because Riley doesn't want to sleep in her room because she's scared of something" in front of everyone. Then she says she can't keep sleeping in her sister's room. She's normally the brave one, and it's so normal for kids that age to be scared to sleep alone in the dark. Maybe take into account that the one that's never scared IS scared of that and stop making her feel even worse about it. Let's talk about how scared the rest of them are of santa and the easter bunny. That's not really normal at that age vs Riley having nightmares and being afraid of being in her room alone. These people are so dense and clearly don't know how to handle one child going through something first. If it was Parker or Hazel that was afraid, I would bet just about anything that they would let them sleep in their room or with their sisters. Oh wait, they don't have to sleep in their own room alone.

But let's ignore the fear of nightmares and bring them to a haunted house instead. That should do the trick! My god these people are the worst.

Also, Riley was the only one not screaming and crying and latched on to their parents when they saw the zombie costume at the Halloween store. THAT was okay for their parents. They didn't need to face their fears. What the hell is wrong with them??

I was literally screaming, "Nightlights!" at the screen. WTH?? I have them all over to see around the house in the dark, but you know -they have hella cute ones for children.

No, they need to single out one child to terrorize. Nightmares need to be dealt with. Zombie costumes you can act like a toddler. Why would they put nightlights in Riley's room? She needs to get over her fear. 🙄

Good point about the Easter Bunny costume.    The kids were terrified the first year, so next year, here comes the Easter Bunny to scare them again.    That was just mean, and when it's combined with the fear of horses, and Blayke getting guilted into going on the water slide on the cruise, and the fear of the dark, it's just another chance to ignore the kids, and terrify them.

Is there really such a thing as an advanced kindergarten class?

Hopefully Riley gets to keep her own room when she's a teenager and A&D don't give it to one of the other girls, which wouldn't surprise me.

I couldn't help but wonder if the conversation between Blayke and Riley was more of a skit for the cameras.

They would do that to punish her for being "bad". I'm positive that any one of the other ones would be more afraid and for a much longer period of time. I don't think forcing her to sleep in her room is the best solution, because, like Blake said, she's a daredevil. Watch Parker or Hazel gets the room (Ava and Olivia will probably always share a room) and they would 1000% be allowed to sleep in their sister's rooms for as long as they want. They can't cherry pick how they treat one kid to the next.
