Rolling In It on the Texas Plains"

New, 5/03/2024

After hitting it big with $3.5 million in the Texas lottery, Helene and Neil, a stargazing couple enlist David's help finding their dream home outside of Lubbock that's perfect for gazing at the dazzling expanse of stars in the night sky every night.

It's so funny to see David watch the tumbleweeds roll by (they're tiny) .  Lubbock TX, Helene and Neil won $3.52 million in the Texas lottery on Lotto America.

Wishlist-They want a star friendly home long out of the light interference from the city lights.   They currently live in Albuquerque.  Budget $500,000 for Helene, Neil's is $700,000, 4 bed 3 bath.  Office for Helene.  (David mets with Denita, he's met with her before).

House 1- Dozer Drive in SW Lubbock  -5  bed, 4 bath, 3100 sq ft, on 1/2 acre.   $690,000.  Beautiful house, only a few years old.  great family/living/dining.  Fantastic kitchen. woodburning fireplace.  Each upstairs bedroom is on a corner, main suite is huge, ensuite is huge and beautiful.  Upstairs bedrooms are huge too.  Big fenced back yard, all grass.

House 2-The Mason far outside of Lubbock, new build-4 bed, 3 bath, sq ft, on over an acre $610,000.     Fantastic great room/kitchen/dining.   bigger than House 1.  Guest bedrooms are nice size, 2 guest baths.   Another room for Helene's office.   Main bedroom is gigantic, ensuite is beautiful, and big.  My concern is it's the first of a subdivision, so will that have streetlights, or neighbors that light the exterior of the house up?

House 3-Ollie Lane in Ropesville in the middle of nowhere (this is where the tumbleweeds keep rolling by)  -4 bed, 4 bath, 3100 sq ft, $599,000 on 2 1/2 acres.    Lovely porch.  Living/kitchen is gorgeous with great beams. No pantry, but a great storage cabinet.   4 person dining.  Bedroom and bath with a guest living room.  two guest bedrooms, and a third bathroom, office space.  main suite is big, with a walkout to the back yard, ensuite is gorgeous, great tiled shower, with a huge main closet.  Back yard isn't fenced, back to farm land, back yard has a huge pergola.

They buy #2.  I hoping it isn't too close to the neighbors.    I would worry about the new neighborhood having too much light pollution.      I would have bought #3, except even with more acres, there's no guarantee that the farmland behind the house wouldn't become a subdivision some day either.

Another episode where the houses were all nice.  It was hard to choose between them.  I liked the exterior of house #1 because it had the new vertical siding with brick trim.  My husband and I have to renovate the front of our house because a tree fell on it and we're thinking of going with that look.

Small Town, Big Dreams"

New, 5/10/2024

A Chandra and Toby, she recently won $1 million on a scratch off ticket leave their tiny Ohio town in search of a home with a big yard for their grandson and two Jack Russell terriers.

Wishlist-Canton, Ohio, for Chandra and Toby, they're locals.  They have custody of her non-verbal grandson with autism.     They want big backyard, 2+ bedrooms, 2 baths, Budget $200,000.  David is asking a realtor in their tiny town.  The entire realtor office staff come out to greet David. Bolivar is a 2 bed 2 bath starting at $150,000 on 1 acre. Minerva is a lovely home.  ANother one in another small town.

One house is going up for auction, a first for the show.

House 1-Bluestem Prairie in Bolivar -3 bed, 2 bath, 1726 sq ft, $150,000 is starting bid, on 1 acre.  With auction properties, no inspection 'as is', no modifications by the bank.    Great kichen, it's huge and lovely, granite and beautiful cabinets, induction range (safe for the grandson). Dining/living/kitchen are open, deck is big.  1 bath is lovely with the stacked full size washer/dryer.  Huge main bedroom. 2 more guest bedrooms.  Basement is finished and carpeted with a big fireplace with a wood stove.  It needs paint in the basement.  Back yard is fenced, and overlooks a pond. Deck is wonderful and huge.

House 2-Green Gable in Malvern (David was in Malvern before for the show)-in Amish country, 4 bed,2 bath,1826 sq ft, $184,900.   two stories, you walk into the dining room, wood floors kitchen is adorable, and big. Living room is gorgeous with a great fireplace, main floor bedroom with ensuite with shower only, laundry is in the ensuite, upstairs 3 guest bedroom, another bath with a tub, back yard needs a fence, but is big for in town.   (This one is still for sale, pending, but so many fail to close)

House 3-Catchfly Field in Beach CIty -2 bed, 2 bath,1250 sq ft, $179,900 on an acre.   Detached 2 car garage. Lovely living dining/kitchen, wood floors, eat-in kitchen with a wood stove. Kitchen needs more cabinets.  Upstairs 1 bed and bath for grandson, main bedroom is lovely and big (I love the quilt on the bed), still hardwood floors, basement needs work, great deck, big yard, and an above ground pool (easy to keep safe, just take the ladder away).

They buy #1 with the auction, they bought it for a little over $200,000.  I think it was a huge bargain.   I love the kitchen, and the deck and yard.

("The previous episode in Malvern was "Million-Dollar Wonderland" David Bromstad helps a couple find their dream home near Canton, Ohio, )

(My cable guide claims [my cable guides often lie] next week is the Scratch Off: I'm Italian, I Cook Sauce,  not a new episode.  However, I really enjoyed the couple from this episode).

That was my favorite, but the one they bought is beautiful too.  Maybe he didn't want quite so much land to take care of.  I like the exterior of the modern farmhouse-style homes.  I'm still not too crazy about a big, open floor plan, but I don't entertain, so it's not important that I have lots of walking around room for guests!

^^^ I was watching the 2nd showing and fell asleep, but hearing their large budget got me thinking. It's never mentioned on the show if the buyers are buying the homes outright, or taking out a mortgage. A 2 million dollar win obviously is a lot, but how much would they really net after taxes?

800K + is an expensive home. If they plunked it all down, there wouldn't be much of their lottery win left. Maybe they do get a mortgage. Idk. I'd probably invest and buy a cheaper home. 4400 SQ ft is a lot of home for 2 people.

My comments refer to all the winners, not just this couple.

I really enjoy this show, mainly because of David as host. I love that he is so over the top in his tats and fashion choices, and is unbashedly himself in all situations. Most of the buyers on this show give the impression that they're from smaller towns, perhaps conservative in thinking. So to have a host that is so out there, so friendly, so happy, and so helpful to them, I just think it's a great show for those reasons alone. I also appreciate that not every winner is looking to spend millions, and that often we have buyers who are looking for a modest home under $200k. Plus, living in an expensive state, I enjoy seeing what you can get for under $300k elsewhere.

I have sometimes wondered if the winners might already have a house to sell that they can use to help finance the new house.  Maybe that's why this week they were able to have a bigger budget.  Their circumstances weren't mentioned this time so we can only speculate.

I agree that 4,000+ square feet is a lot for two people but I know people with money who have homes that big.  It would only be a problem if they didn't have the income for the upkeep on a home that size.  I sure hope they didn't bite off more than they can chew and end up "house poor".

New, 6/07/2024,

Already $5 million in on a dream lake house in Wisconsin, a Kathy returns to David to help her find a vacation home in Naples, Florida, and brings her sister Peg along for the ride as she tours high-end properties in luxury communities.

This is Kathy, from “Gold Lady of Lake Mendota" aired 4/12/2024. Season 16 Episode 1.

I’m so happy she came back for another home.  I can't wait for this to air tonight.  I love it when they look at high end homes, and I love Kathy and her sister Peg.

Wishlist- Vacation home, 3 to 4 bedrooms, 3 to 4 baths pool, boat slip, outdoor space, 10 to 15 minutes to the beach, budget $2.2 to $2.4 million.  (Naples has the most billionaires of anywhere in the U.S., according to David. $265 million is the most expensive house in town).

House 1- Windstar Way, in golf course community -3 bed, 3 bath, 2400 sq ft, $1.9 million. spectacular front entry exterior, Living/dining/kitchen are open and gorgeous, induction stove, great pool, guest bedrooms and bath are beautiful, main bedroom is gigantic, walk out to pool, ensuite is gorgeous, pool is in screen room, wonderful outdoor kitchen.

House 2-Portrush Place - 3  bed, 4 bath, 3300 sq ft, $2.25 million.   3 car garage, beautiful entry to a huge living room with a fireplace, it comes furnished, huge gorgeous kitchen, 2 guest bedrooms are huge and lovely, every bedroom has it's own bath, split bedroom plan, huge main suite with ensuite, pool is screened, with dining area, spa and an outdoor kitchen/bar.   I love this house.

House 3-Capuano Cape, canal side, with a dock -3 bed,3 bath, 2100 sq ft, $2.335 million.   double garage on the first floor, beautiful stairs to the main floor.  gorgeous main level 2 guest bedroom, kitchen/living/dining are spectacular, overlooking the canal, screened balcony, with a firepit, huge hot tub, and you can park a big boat there and be on the ocean very quickly.   Main bedroom is lovely, and big, bathroom is huge.  Basement entertainment space for grandkids and kids with another guest bedroom.  David suggest two sets of bunkbeds in the downstairs bedroom.

She buys #2.   Even though the 'comes furnished' statement was a give away, I loved all three homes.  I hope Kathy and her family will be very happy vacationing there.

Maybe she'll shop for a second vacation place next and she'll take David and all of us along.

Yes, #2’s furnishings seeed just her style (based on previous purchase). Plus, on the water, screened-in pool—keep out, bugs—and that outdoor kitchen and dining area seemed to cinch it. Enjoy, ladies.

Huh, I didn't realize they were sisters, I always thought they were partners and I wondered why they always mentioned a room for the other woman, now I know. Duh.

I enjoy the money's no object clients, but I appreciate the clients on a budget more because it's more realistic.

I'm glad she chose #2, it was my favorite and a similar but smaller, less opulent version of the house in Sarasota my husband's client owns.  He and his wife invited us for a stay there last November.  It was unbelievable.  That whole area is dripping with immense wealth.  I can just imagine how Naples must be.  No wonder David was wowing about it.  I would never have appreciated that unless I experienced it myself.  I'm not stranger to being around wealth being from NYC and areas of CT but this was on a level I never had experienced before.

I agree.   You never know what a life changing amount of money will go to, and what debts the person has, or who they may be helping with their winnings.   I'm sure some winners have paid off back debts, or other payments, and that's why they have a small budget.   I'm thrilled seeing the happiness of people owning their dream home, no matter what it costs.   I really enjoyed seeing Kathy, Peg, and David again though.

Front page news in my local paper - local woman wins $2 million on scratch-off ticket. She's chosen to remain anonymous (Maryland lottery). The article says she plans to put the money in the bank and put a down payment on a house. I guess she wouldn't be interested in being on the show, but who knows?

On the 100th episode David gave a lot of information about the entire casting process.   They have a staff that keep a big database of hundreds of lottery winners.    One of the staff members is one of the daughters from the Cape Cod episode (two sisters and mother moved in together, later they all moved out, sold the house, and mother moved in with her boyfriend in another house hunt).

Low Country Comfort"

New, 6/21/2024

Connecticut teachers, struck it lucky winning $138,000 on the Connecticut lottery, just when they are ready to retire; David helps realize their dream of finding a forever home in the beach loving, low country of South Carolina where there is lots of water, boating and scenery.

David's in Hilton Head, SC with Michelle and Laura.  They've been married for 22 years.

Wishlist- 2 to 3 bed, 2 bath, decent kitchen, a lanai, Budget is $350,000.   Bluffton or Hilton Head are good possibilities.  Old Town Bluffton has a lot of golf carts, which the women are interested in. (They actually were in Savannah, GA, but who can afford to live there?)

House 1- Pinecrest Passage, in Old Town Bluffton-3 bed,3bath,1254sq ft, $320,000.    I love the house, nice tile floors, eat in kitchen, living room.  main bedroom is first floor and huge, with ensuite, 1 guest bed and bath first floor, and upstairs a huge bedroom with an ensuite that could be a main bedroom.   Deck is really big.     House does need paint and a few cosmetic touches.

House 2- Linden Lane, new build in Bluffton -3  bed, 3bath, 2300 sq ft, $374,000 for current size, slightly smaller house would be in budget.   This shows the finsihes and options.   Living/dining/kitchen are big and gorgeous.  floors are LVP, half bath on first floor.   all bedrooms are upstairs.   ensitue is huge and beautiful, huge builtin closet, main bedroom is big and great with a door to the second floor porch.  Back yard has a covered porch that could be a lanai.  There is a pond out back, complete with alligator.

House 3-Oldfield View, established neighborhood in Bluffton -2 bed,2 bath, 1320 sq ft, $359,000.   beautiful living room with hardwood floors, kitchen is lovely with granite, and butler's pantry, guest bath, and guest room with Murphy bed, could also be an office.  Mainbedroom is beautiful with a bay window, huge shower and double sink in the main ensuite.   Carolina Room (sunroom), there's a screened covered porch (lanai) and a lovely patio.   Right behind the pond.   I like the one level living with the lanai.

They buy # 3 .

Every time I see retirees not buying a ranch style, I think David should be more helpful.

Yes, this includes fit 70-year olds that workout with trainers 3 x a week. It’s just reality.

Considering David has nothing to do with the house these folks choose, I don't see how he could do anything "helpful". 😉

Please tell my husband, we live a very vertical house and I spend time on line looking at condos in elevator buildings, he thinks I am crazy but I know how reality goes.

This is why I'm happy my husband insisted on a one level ranch almost 20 years ago, although as time goes on I wish I could have convinced him into a condo.

I felt like David was messing around with this couple all through the episode. Like saying he couldn't wait to see their wardrobe choices the next day (really?) and saying "ewww" when they wanted to eat seafood. WTF was that about?

And I know David is tall but the two of them looked shorter than me and I'm 5'2" on a good day.

Pensacola Peanuts"

New,  Season 16, Episode 10, 6/28/2024

From the show site: A generous couple who have struggled financial have no idea what to do with their $5 million lottery win, until David steps in to help them find their dream home in Pensacola, Florida.

(I’m looking forward to this episode, I live about 90 miles north of Pensacola)

Wishlist- Bernard, Madeline aka Peanut, and son Chris are looking for a great kitchen, 3 bed, 2 bath, nice yard, $350,000 budget and they’re paying cash.    Milton is a possible city too.   Milton is cheaper than Pensacola.  Avalon is possible.

House 2-Pablo Creek in Pace -new build model home, with options- 4 bed, 2 bath,  sq ft, $355000.  Beautiful open concept kitchen, dining, and living.   countertops are quartz, main bedroom is huge, with a lovely ensuite, only with a huge shower, no tub.   Guest bath and 3 bedrooms are on the other side of the house.   Covered lanai,is screened is big, back yard is nice but smaller than #1.   4 to 6 month wait list for a custom build, but there are some for sale already built in the neighborhood.

House 3-Tanglewood Trail, in Milton -2 story, 3 bed, 2.5 bath, and a bonus room, 1880 sq ft, $388,000.   open living/dining/kitchen granite countertops, main bedroom on first floor is big, ensuite is lovely, back lanai screened in and covered, back yard is nice but nneds a fence.  Upstairs 2 guest bedrooms and 1 bath and a flex room that has a door to the upstairs covered porch and could be another bedroom.

They buy #1 .

David is talking to the adorable couple about a vacation place in the mountains.

Wasn’t surprised they took the least expensive, smallest place. My guess is that they’re using a lot of their winnings to help family financially and, no doubt, others.

But it had one-story, two ensuites, old-school-style kitchen and a humongous backyard with an out-building. Hope they enjoy it all for many years to come.

I'm pretty far behind in my viewing, so I just watched this one.  The sisters were a lot of fun!  Great energy!  I enjoyed seeing the 2-million-dollar homes.  I liked both the 1st and 2nd homes.  The third one was nice, but there were too many stairs, and it looked to be next to a busy road.

The patio and pool area with the second house was fabulous!  I'd probably stay out there most of the time.  Was that the one with the beige walls that David said she could brighten up?  I have a lot of beige walls (Sand Dune from Sherwin Williams to be exact), and I find it quite soothing.  Love 'ya, David, but pfftt for dissing my color!  😁

Remember when, by winning the first season of Design Star, David got his own show on HGTV? Color Splash ran for five years. So color is kinda his thing.

"Happy Dance in Tennessee"

New, 7/12/2024, ,  Season 16 Episode 11

Previous lottery winners call on David to help locate a second dream home near Nashville with a picturesque view close to their family, but it's difficult to decide on a house while performing their signature happy dance.

(The previous show was  Martha and Scott from WinterPark, Florida. "From Rags to Riches" Season 12d

They won and looked with David before.  Show aired 21 January 2022.   Martha and Scott, won $1 million on a scratcher.    They want a 3 bed, 2 bath, a nice yard.   Budget $300 to $340k.     In Winter Park Florida, or Maitland, or Casselbery.  In David's area in Orlando.  The closed captioning is having issues, instead of Lanai, it said Island.

1.  Concord Creek-I think it's in Casselbery,  3 bed  2bath 2 car garage,  1300 sq ft, $285,000    split bedroom plan, smallish kitchen, but very well finished, all remodeled.    Back yard need some work, and pool or lanai added.  Main Bedroom is nice, but smaller, and with an en suite.   )

Wishlist-They're moving to Nashville area from Winter Park, Florida to be closer to family.   The couple also recently married.  Prefer new or renovated, 2 to 3 bedrooms, They want an acre or so, $300,000 to $310,000.   They want to have chickens, Scott wants goats too (He's not getting goats). Lewsiburg is a good area for them.

It's the height of Cicada season (the Cicada swarm hatches out every 17 years, not 15 like David said.  A warning note about the Cicadas, they are loved by snakes, so staying away from the Cicadas is a good idea).

House 1-Silver Gem Stream in Lewisburg -remodeled 2 years ago, 3  bed,2.5  bath, 1800 sq ft, $348,000 on .25 acre of flat land.    Nice, flat back yard, huge deck, main bedroom is huge, plus ensuite that's 5 piece. upstairs has 2 guest bedrooms and a nice bath.

House 2-Honeysuckle Haven   in Columbia -3 bed,1  bath,1100 sq ft, $290,000 on .3 acre.  Redone home, large main, but no ensuite, 2nd bedroom is nice too. Bathroom is gorgeous with lovely finishes.  Upstairs a bonus loft bedroom, kitchen is bigger than house #1, nice dining area.  back covered deck is lovely. with a flat yard and a firepit.

House 3-Mirimichi Meadow in Lewisburg -new build,  3 bed, 2 bath,1100  sq ft, $259,900 on .3 acre.   What a beautiful house.   lovely living room, dining room and kitchen.  Kitchen isn't big, but it's brand new and with lots of storage.   Main bedroom is a nice size, with a smaller en suite, 2 bigger guest bedrooms, and guest bath is nice.  Back yard is flat, and a deck.  The back lot line is going to be built over the next 2 years.

They buy # 3.  Martha said they're not getting chickens, so that yard will be plenty big, at least until the neighboring houses are under construction.    I hope they enjoy the house.   (I live in a new build subdivision, and it wasn't that bad except when they were roofing, which is only a couple of days, and putting the sheathing on the house which was a few more days, and they worked up to six days a week, but only limited hours, so it wasn't that bad.  The worst though was when they were building the couple of homes next to mine. )

#3 was nice, hope they enjoy it. But at the end backyard buffet, one guest said how quiet it was. LOL, enjoy that now, because any day it’ll be a construction zone! There will be house after house back there. Good luck!

(For several years, I was surrounded by the construction of 3 high-rises and a mid-rise next door. Not quite as quiet as it was around here.)

Sadly, I moved recently. Too much growth and development, construction, noise and traffic.   Much of it is still beautiful, but it's no longer the town I fell in love with.

I should change my handle, but I haven't figured out how.

Haven't been to Baltimore!

Go to the 3 black horizontal bars in the upper right, click on account, click on Profile, and that takes you to a page where, among other things, you can change your profile name.

Thanks! I had looked there before, but missed it.
I was looking under edit, found it under settings. Now I need to come up with a new moniker...

Remember this guy?
(I was a fangirl, went to see him at an appearance in Seattle in 2009.)

I saw David when he was competing in the finale on his season of Design Star way back in 2006 before anyone knew who he was. Here's a photo I took of him with one of the finalists and Clive Pearse, the show's host (remember him?).

This was in Bryant Park in Manhattan, BTW.

Wow, look at those tat-free, muscled arms. Gorg, as he would say.

David was really cute back then and I had a huge crush on Clive.  I rewatched the first few seasons during the pandemic just for Clive.  I remember that he left the show and went back to England to help care for his mother who was dying.  I don't know what became of him after that.

I really liked Clive on Designed to Sell.

I miss those old HGTV shows that focused on design. Not everyone wants to do a total reno. Or flip a house!

I hear you, I miss those old days and I also had a crush on Clive! He was very nice to me when I met him and always remembered me. I friended him on Facebook and followed him for years but haven't done so regularly for a while now. I just took a look and he is still posting many "reunion" photos with his STILL good friend and former co-star Lisa LaPorta and others from HGTV. According to his page he lives in California. He posts many photos of him with stars, even Annie Potts from "Young Sheldon".  He lists himself as a "former show host" but even after all these years I've never found anything to indicate what else he's doing now, although I really haven't searched for it other than on Facebook.

I got the impression when he left HGTV that it wasn't by choice. I remember having a brief Facebook exchange with him several years ago where he gave me that impression. I wrote him on his birthday telling him how much I missed him as a host on HGTV and he said something like he missed it too and wished it didn't have to end. I remember when he left it was also around the time other shows were making changes to their hosts or getting rid of them, like "House Hunters".

Pine Island Prince and Princess

New,  7/19/2024, Season 16 Episode 12

Santa delivers big when a western Massachusetts couple finally scratches off a $4 million win on Christmas Day; they want a vacation spot that can eventually be their retirement home, so they're enlisting David to find the perfect place.

Chris and Kenny  want a home in Pine Island, Florida to eventually retire in.   Pine Island is west of Cape Coral.  They buy lottery tickets once a year for each other on Christmas Eve. Chris retired, and opened a bakery.  Pine Island is the largest island on the west coast of Florida.

Wishlist-  They want nice kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, $400,000 budget. doesn't have to have a water view.

House 1-Royal Fern in St. James City (south end of the island), Pine Island-$349,000 double car port, stilt house 1344 sq ft, 3 bed 2 bath.  front lanai, open concept, very bright inside, kitchen is a huge U-shaped, stone counters, soft close cabinets.   guest bathroom is nice, guest bedrroms are nice, main bedroom is decent size, but the ensuite needs renovation.  downstairs has a rec room, dining.   small lot.

House 2-Nutgrass Nursery in Bokeelia, north end of the island-3  bed, 2 bath, 1200 sq ft, $359000.   Raised ranch, spiral staircase to the first floor level, carpeted, but needs wood or LVP floors.   Bedrooms are nice, bigger than house 1.   Main bedroom is big, with a nice ensuite, fully renovated.   kitchen is nice size, stone counters, not as big as house 1.  nice deck on the back.   Downstairs/first floor not included in the square footage, laundry, another bedroom/TV room, and storage space.  Yard is bigger than house 1, room for a pool.

House 3-Shoestrong Court, in Bokeelia, Pine Island -4 bed, 2 bath, 726 sq ft, (Only top floor is counted in sq footage), there's a 2 bed 1 bath upstairs, and MIL apt 2 bed 1 bath on the first floor,  $379,000.  Kitchen is redone, and decent size, vaulted wood ceilings in the upstairs.  main bathroom is nice, main bedroom is nice with a slider to the deck, and another bedroom David says turn into a big closet.  Downstairs is 2 bed 1 bath, paneled, needs a few updates.  kitchen downstairs could be Kenny's prep kitchen for BBQs.   Tiki Hut is lovely.  Lots of outdoor space.

They buy #1 . I love that house.

The kitchen was really nice in that house.  I was kind of surprised that they didn't up the budget a little and splurge a little more!  Probably best to keep the budget low seeing as how homeowner's insurance will be a bit pricey.

I didn't like the house with the spiral staircase.  That would've been a no-go for me as soon as I saw it!  I liked the property with the 3rd house, but the kitchen wasn't nearly as nice as the house they chose.  It didn't look like there was much room to expand that kitchen even if they wanted to.

Did anyone see the "pop up" episode that aired on 8/24? I expected it to be a repeat but neither my husband nor I remember seeing it before. It was about two sisters buying a house in St. Paul, MN, the state where David is from. His brother-in-law was the realtor and his sister made an appearance.

I didn't like any of the houses. How they found 3 houses that looked so similarly tiny and out of date was not the best from a viewer perspective.

That's the Scratch Off edition of this season's, St. Paul show.    Scratch off shows are just with little pop ups of facts.   They're an easy way to add something, and have it record as "new".

They've been showing new episodes, mixed in with the Scratch Offs, and not really advertising the difference.    They'll run a few new ones, then scratch offs, and then have reruns.

It's harder to catch new episodes than when they showed the new ones for a couple of months in a row.

Most of the scratch off episodes have been repeats. I always record them and then look at them just to see if it's one I've seen. Every once in a while a scratch off episode will be a new one, but they bill all of them as "new" anyway which is annoying.

I didn’t recall the sisters but absolutely remembered David’s BiL and sister, underwhelming houses and click.

I remembered them too but David did mention that his BIL had already helped him on a previous episode in MN. So I wondered if I remembered them from that previous episode, because other than them I didn't remember anything about this episode and that's usually rare for me. Usually if I've seen an episode something will jar my memory about it after a few minutes.
